Overnight for children's skiing. It's a lift on the slopes across the road, but you need to buy a lift ticket at the ski center, which is about a five-minute walk away. It seems that there is no dinner and there is no large communal bath, but the hot spring is less than five minutes by car. There is no inconvenience to go out to eat. The room was large and comfortable with a family suite. It was a little inconvenient that I couldn't access the drying room directly due to the snow, but there was almost no problem. WiFi was weak indoors. The staff was Chinese but Japanese was OK and they responded very kindly.
The old house converted into a hotel
The price is moderate. It is a bit far from the scenic spot, suitable for self-driving tour.
There is no good brunch nearby, Fortunately, the hotel provides a simple breakfast.
There is a big restaurant 2 minutes away by foot, It is only open at night, and it is a good Japanese restaurant.
Features hot stone facilities. The bathroom in the room is relatively simple, and the public bathing place has to go to the annex a few buildings away.
quiet and simple community

Went there over the weekend for a ski trip with the boys.. The newly refurbished hotel was neat, with slick designs and a super relaxing bar area. The restaurant serving a wide selection of breakfasts was a great way to kick off the day. The rooms are very nice and spacious that are also very functional in the layout.. The Hotel is ideally located right in the center of town. Overall the best thing i liked was the friendly ,professional service of the staff. and i would have to say the in house Onsen! Highly recommend The Happo to any one thinking of going to Hakuba. Looking forward to my next visit.

Service and hygiene have always been of Japanese standard. The brother at the front desk is still driving in the snow and we go to the convenience store to buy things. Location, 5 minutes to Wulong Snow Resort, it was an excellent location. But what needs to be done is the big environment. Because I used to go to Niseko, Hokkaido, there are very convenient restaurants, shopping, and convenience stores nearby. But Baima Wulong is very barren here. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the nearest restaurant, which is very unsuitable. Of course, this hotel has nothing to do with itself
The hotel staff speaks English, which makes it simple after a previous trip to Japan. They upgrade to the hotel for free for their backpackers hostel and their daughter. We arrived on December 13, 2014, which was before the main peak on December 20, 2014, and it was exactly the time we left. To step down for the pre-season is to open the red road first, running shuttles are not enough and have to pay a taxi fee. My daughter tore ligaments in her knee on a beginner's ski while on the Red Road. The Gondola Hotel in Whitehorse Village recommended an Australian physiotherapy and had two before we left. All the staff gave us amazing everything to help. I highly recommend that you stay here if you go skiing in Japan. Note: Phyio word is wrong, it should be Physio
When I was thinking about where to stay for my first summer in Hakuba, I chose this place because it had very good reviews. We communicated via email before our stay, and from then on, they were very kind and I was grateful. It was a nice pension, just like the reviews said, the food was plentiful, and the price was reasonable, making me want to come back again. One thing is that there is no reservation system for bathing, so it was difficult to get in when it was crowded and it took a long time. I felt that it would be smoother if there was a system where guests could specify their desired time slot.

GGuest UserThe hotel is one kilometer away from the bus terminal, but there are small stops near the hotel to various ski resorts, which is very convenient.
I booked a total of 5 nights, including meals. The 5 breakfasts are basically Japanese, very hearty and satisfying!
It is a traditional Japanese-style bed and breakfast. The room is on tatami mats and you make your own bed. In some years, the furniture is not new, and you can hear it in the walking room in the corridor, but it is very clean! The quality of the guests is also very good, there is no loud noise, which is much better than the Europeans and Americans who later lived in the hotel!
The boss is an old Japanese couple. They don’t talk much and may not always smile like other Japanese people, but in fact they love to help. After dinner every morning, they ask you where you plan to go today, and then pull you there. His map wall helps you plan your itinerary, and the hotel also has a lot of coupons or low-cost ski tickets for ski resort cooperation. Save a lot of expenses. After checking out, you need to change to another hotel. After the boss asks the address, he will send it to the next one, but there are still not many words 😁, thank you for your rigorous and lovely Japanese grandpa
Very cost-effective, recommended!
GGuest UserI was disturbed by the meteor flower garden for consecutive nights at the end of the year. I think that it has an atmosphere that is healed by the tired body and breathes of the trip. I was able to interact with people from other countries in the guesthouse and had a good time. I met Taiwanese, Hong Kongers, Chinese mainlanders, and occasionally Swiss people, and I was excited about skiing with everyone. I am really grateful for the advice to me as a beginner. The administrator was very kind and taught me the information around me and learned a lot. I will visit again during the next snowy season.
GGuest UserPlenty of wow factor in this stylish apartment. Fanatastic outlook from every window, it was dificult to talk ourselves into going out each morning! Loved the bathroom with loads of hot water and the second toilet made it easy to share among the four of us. Super comfortable beds and each one with a view of the snow covered forest. I was concerned that it would be too remote from the online views but it is really well located with an easy flatish walk to the happo Gondola. The staff respond really fast to every enquiry, and as this was our first Japan trip, we had loads! It took me ages to choose with all the options availabe, and I could not have chosen a better experience. Book direct for better pricing and a very generous 15% off for return visits or personal recomendations. One minor detail; the stairs are very steep, especially to the loft area, if you have small children, and limited eating options in walking distance means book ahead for dinner.
MMohdno hot water, no heater. probably cuz i m arriving during off-peak season. also, no bathroom. the only toilet available is the lobby toilet, and no hot water in the toilet. anyway, its close to the station. facilities are so clean, typical japanese accomodation. remember guys, this is dormitory type accomodation so be prepared mentally. microwave oven and hot water also provided at common area to heat food.
CChairat ModnakThe owner is very nice. The location is quite far from a train station but if you like to walk, it’s no problem. By the way, you have to rent a towel for 300 yen.

Hakuba Happo-One Snow Resort
小小优优酱Hakuba Happoone Ski Resort is located in Karamatsudake, Nagano Prefecture, Japan, only two and a half hours' drive from Narita Airport. It is the largest single-site ski resort in Japan.
Hotels in Hakuba basically include ski tickets. Just tell the hotel in advance.
Happo pond
ししゃちょIt is a recommended tourist spot for beginners and people who are not confident in their physical strength! Many elderly people were also climbing. I was able to feel the power of the 2000m class mountain 々 with my skin! This time it was past noon, so next time I want to climb early in the morning and enjoy the beautiful Happo Pond!
Hakuba Ski Jumping Stadium
GG.Raul 07The Winter Olympics were held here once, and the jump was high
Kurashita Onsen
小小优优酱In addition to the Cangxia Hot Spring, other hot springs in Hokkaido are also very interesting. For example, the one that lives in is very good, there are sauna rooms and semi-open-air hot springs. (Sauna rooms are rare) It is interesting that the hot spring pool of this hotel is not warm, but it is very comfortable to take a bath after steaming the sauna. Especially after a day of snow, super relieve fatigue. Unlike the sea and the big lake, the snow is also very beautiful.
