Mine was a business trip for 3months.PanBil is one of the best hotels in Batam.Rooms were well maintained.But as am from India I would suggest PanBil to serve Indian Foods (Idly,Dosa varieties)We were more than 20ppls staying in Panbil. Things to improve 1) Transport Facility 2)Serve Indian Food Murdani and Nuri are so responsible in their duties.I would give them 5stars

Here what I see. Advantage: Good location near Kepri Mall (5 mins walk to the mall entrance). 12 mins drive to Batam Ferry center. Quiet place. Cooking hood available in the room. The hotel has a free taxi service, but need to inform early. Disadvantage: Breakfast menu does not even meet the average. If you go late, they won't top up anything for you. Did not try outdoor pool, so no comment. Mosquito in the room. The marble floor is not suitable for small kids. I would not recommend for a family with little kids.

Tonight is our last night here in Eska. All good. Water heater, thick towels(some hotel's has very thin towels), hairdryer. A/C was working well. Mini fridge was ok. Not that cold. No funky smell in the room & bathroom, clean. Lobby is clean. Housekeeping team was great. Breakfast platter was good too. The bed was not bad($40+, yeah). Only the pillows thou. I find it quite flat. Haha. And Kepri Mall is permanently closed. So, its little quiet. I would suggest to get yourself a prepaid card for data*get a bigger Gb, if you likes watching Netflix or videos*. Just to standby. Hehe! We arrived on the Friday afternoon, Wifi connection, TV was all fine. But, when we came back that night prolly around 10pm ish. there is no Wifi connection at all till the next mrng. But now, 12.38am, Sat night. Wifi was good. Idk whether the connection or what. I just used up my data yesterday😅 to surf the internet. We didnt try the spa here, because we had our regular massage place else where. And theres a restraunt at the roof top. Very nice. But didnt get a chance to sit there, as its raining. Yeaa. Overall, worth the stay. Only the Wifi thingy.

My second time here... and this time with my mum. Service and staff were very friendly and approachable, even for my mum who doesn't speak fluent English, they were all kind and friendly towards her. There were knocking noises randomly above the ceiling, and the staff is kind enough to arrange us for another room. Appreciates the help.
Only two issues which I find it annoying, first I saw guest in their tshirts or even non-swimmers use the swimming pool to soak their feet, and two of them even ”play” in the pool without proper swimming attire. Well, I use the swimming pool (and gym) at the hotel and intended to use it, so when I saw the family with improper attire at the pool during my breakfast, made me change plan. I meant soaking their feet at the pool... and i had to swim in it. Besides, the painter has been there for 2 days? Smelling turpentine during swimming after every stroke.. can be quite unpleasant. Gym facilities are good, and had quite a crowd compare to other hotels ive been to. However, I guess the air-conditioning of the room can be better, as the weather are getting warmer, the heat can be strong after an workout.
What I really like is the play room for children, and the view in the morning. Breakfast is good, lots of varieties.

Had a chance for quick getaway to Batam, a bustling small city. Booked and stayed at this budget hotel. We were not expecting much as we knew budget hotel comes with standard in everything you get from a budget hotel. The location is strategic in the centre of the city where it is in the middle of tourist destinations. What you get is what you pay for. Basic amenities and facilities within the hotel. However what is outstanding is their staff and services. They look after us and recommended places to visit. It was a short stay but a memorable one. Plenty of places to eat around the hotel. The food court next to the hotel is to die for. Really nice. We recommend this hotel for a quick short stay. Nothing fancy but really value for the money.

There is no hot water in the bathroom, no shampoo, no drinking water, no daily cleaning of the room (during a 3 night stay), even though the room is quite comfortable but cleanliness is lacking because the sheets and pillowcases are not changed, and the room is not swept, a lot dust/ash... 🙏

AAzy AbdullahSaw this and it's amenities and felt it was the best for me and my 3 kids. Decided to try this out didn't realize it was further than I'm usually used to.
We arrived in the evening but was greeted by a cheerful receptionist.
Please note there is a 1 mil rupiah deposit. I wasn't prepared for this so I thought to give this a heads up for future booking awareness.
The place was alittle hard to spot from the main road ( there was no signage) but it's landmarks are Cubezone and Ria.
Note, there is a laundry service across the road please expect 1-2 days. Express service is 1 day
The entrance is a dainty little walkway like a secret hideout into a cactus garden that somehow transports you to what looks like Bali crossed with New Mexico feels.
A small but clean pool, well maintained. They have dining table and benches outside for a chill out vibe. There's also a BBQ space where you can engage in their BBQ rental (provides charcoal n pit) with a ceiling fan n sink for your convenience and comfort.
Area is nice and spacious. Once again I just emphasize, they keep it very clean.
The place it seems is 6 container villas surrounding the garden n pool. Which is perfect if you plan to have a big group in.
Inside there's a basic kitchenette with a fridge, pot, kettle.
There were 2 rooms. Both equipped with bathrooms and tvs. Ac was perfection.you don't have to worry about the heat. It's so nice and cold. Makes you wanna just not get out of bed.
The wifi was laggy alittle, didn't bother us as we had local data but it wasn't so nice to be watching a movie and gettin disrupted.
TV is equipped with YOUTUBE and Netflix. Pretty awesome to keep the kids occupied.
Be warned they have live bands that play music till 1-2 am in the morning. Definately didn't expect that but it didn't bother us so much. Once again, another heads up.
Pool is open from 7am to 9pm.
Its also a 15-20mins drive to Nagoya. We normally do Grab roughly about 60-70k.
The host has their number in the welcome print and responds pretty fast if you need to enquire on anything.
Overall, the place is pretty charming and despite it being alittle far from massages n karaoke, I think I found a new go to place. Certainly looking forward to be back.

GGuest UserI stayed with my husband in 3505 for 2 nights. This resort is Perfect for all sorts of travellers, business, solo couples or families! Decent breakfast spread starting as early as 6am so you can have a hearty meal before you go about your day. There’s a games room with pool tables, darts and foosball tables - fun for friends, families and couples. A huge swimming pool for both grown ups and kids, a tranquil spa and a kids room for the little ones. The room, although some have commented that it’s slightly dated, it is very well maintained! Plenty of TV channels, room size was spacious and everything was functioning well. Not to mention it was very clean as well and bright with a lot of natural light. We were upgraded to the suite, with a nice view of the pool. There hotel grounds were always clean. We came across landscaping staff keeping their plants tidy. There wasn’t a single fallen leaf in the pool! Sunbeds were kept dry and clean for guests. All the staff of Holiday Inn Resort Batam have certainly made us smile with their friendly service, namely Dinda, Ocha, Raya and Angga (I hope I spelled their names right.) I didn’t manage to get the names of the staff at the restaurant during breakfast hours but I hope the management will also extend my praises to them after seeing this post. The chefs, the live station cooks and all the service staff greeted us whenever they see us. They promptly cleared plates and offered freshly brewed coffee (the caramel latte was good!). Also kudos to housekeeping for keeping our rooms fresh. Location was slightly outside the city area but we had no problems getting anywhere with Grab. Also - the welcome cookies were yummy! :)

We didn't book any of the activities or tours, but will the other guest that took the snorklin and banana boat tours loved it.

GGuest UserI visit Batam almost every week and this is my favorite hotel! Since July 22, I estimate I have stayed 40-50 nights in the past 11 months. On paper, this is a 3 star hotel. But the rooms and facilities feel like 4 stars, and the staff is 5 stars. A big Thank You! to all the staff who made my stay enjoyable. To Mugi, and the rest of the Reception staff, thank you for always being cheerful and helpful. Thank you the restaurant staff who are always helpful, even in the face of my unusual requests. And to the always smiling lady who collects laundry who makes always takes that extra step in effort and service. What is great: The rooms are largish and clean. The decor is bright and cheery. The bed, pillows and bolsters are the best in Batam. I get the best night's sleep here! The shower has good pressure and the water is nice and hot. And again, the staff is FANTASTIC! What is no so great: The breakfast is average. The WiFi has improved and is fast but sometimes there are outages. But this may be more of a Batam thing than a Hotel thing. What you may think is bad but is not really: The location. There are no shopping centers or shops nearby that you can easily walk to. But the location is actually pretty ok. Because it is near Nagoya, you can usually get a Grab in less than 5 minutes. And Grab is pretty affordable in Batam. The hotel is about 10 minutes from Harbour Bay and 15 minutes from Batam Center. It is 10 minutes from Nagoya hill and 15 minutes from Grand Batam. Plus, the hotel sits on a hill. From the top floor bistro, you can see the sea (and Singapore) 270 degrees around! Contact hotel via WhatsApp before arrive to check on room n booking status.Stay Was ok and The staff here are the best from FD,HK,Security and F&B Cons: -Req Junior Suite Type room On High Floor,but only told during c/in the room is at level 3 and same type room at level 8 is smoking floor.Should inform earlier -No access card require for lift acces to guest room. -Breakfast spread not so much,(standard 3 star hotel) -Room at level 3 view is building back side. -Some furniture was tore,dated but its well maintained. -The entertainment,games and Internet area closed,no PC can use,no console game as advertised. -Hot lobby,u dont know why they like the hot lobby.Some guest come from walk outside sweating and uncomfortable due to hot lobby. -as 3 star boutique hotel,there is no swimming pools Buts there is spa located at 3rd floor. Pro: -Good and professional staff. -Good AC on room,very cold.i like -spacious room (jr suite room) -Good Housekeeping team,we love when we come back to hotel and out room is clean n tidy. -even the food on Breakfast is just fine,the staff entertain us very well. -near nagoya mall (walking distance) -beside convenience shop -infront of rumah makan sederhana and momo coffee house. -there 1 small coffee shop above indomaret beside hotel -online taxi can pick/drop here.

GGuest UserI don't even know how to begin... overall, the service staff were very friendly. We knew the hotel was old so we were expecting the worst but got a newly renovated room instead and that was nice. But the renovation felt incomplete with a number of issues / poorly done, and weird things like a very very rusty shower soap rack (because it's clearly newly renovated, why is it rusty???).
Amenities wise there's a hair dryer, 2 bottles and complimentary coffee and tea packets. Nothing in minibar. Room was spacious, but the safe was spoilt and way too small (barely can keep iPad level small). There's only one door lock and no extra chain lock on the door. I mean I didn't feel unsafe unsafe but at the same time I knew it was not really safe.
The water turned a bit brown for about 3 minutes the first night (we suspect rust?) but didn't appear any more after. Drainage was okay but can be improved. Towels were stained and bedsheets not pristine.
It's beside a school, so expect some noise if your staying in the morning on weekdays.
There was also an air freshener in the room that went off every hour (literally every hour throughout the night) but I'm pretty 100% sure there was nothing in the air freshener.
The weirdest part was the outside of the hotel - not the hotel property itself but the road leading up to it. It seemed completely abandoned and like it could collapse anytime.
Overall - would not stay again but if no other choice, can make do. Paid about $160 for 3 nights.

GGuest UserThe rooms in this hotel appear to be slightly run down, although for the price that one has to pay for it, it's quite value for money. The beds and toilets (bathtub too!) are relatively clean, if you can look past the peeling walls and ceiling, it really is a good hotel with nice amenities. The hotel is situated in a convenient location, and the hotel even provides shuttle services to tourist spots in Batam. The breakfast isn't spectacular and personally I think it's quite plain. I would much rather choose to eat outside.

Ddensir77Had a chance for quick getaway to Batam, a bustling small city. Booked and stayed at this budget hotel. We were not expecting much as we knew budget hotel comes with standard in everything you get from a budget hotel. The location is strategic in the centre of the city where it is in the middle of tourist destinations. What you get is what you pay for. Basic amenities and facilities within the hotel. However what is outstanding is their staff and services. They look after us and recommended places to visit. It was a short stay but a memorable one. Plenty of places to eat around the hotel. The food court next to the hotel is to die for. Really nice. We recommend this hotel for a quick short stay. Nothing fancy but really value for the money.
