We loved staying at this hotel. Our room was very big, the bedroom separated from the living room. Gorgeous view of the sea, and nice balcony. The service was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was huge, with many fresh choices. Everyone was very friendly at hotel, and most spoke English. Great Old Fashion cocktail at the bar. We enjoyed the food at the poolside bar. I had the hamburger and my husband had the Power Bowl. Very tasty. Rent a car because nothing is close by. Netty helped us book an awesome sunset cruise on a catamaran. Highly recommend this hotel!

We chose this hotel from a combination of reviews and the choice of suites. We were very pleased with our room especially after upgrading it. We always choose bed and breakfast as we prefer trying different local restaurants. Breakfast was plentiful and varied a bit crowded and if you wanted to sit outside you had to queue most mornings. My dislike in many hotels is the lack of hot plates and there are none here also the hot dishes weren’t really hot so pretty cold by the time you came to sit down and eat !! Tried room service one evening and pizza was reasonable, we understand the food has to get to you but the burger and fries were cold. Didn’t try again. Our room was super and our ‘lady Fati’ was really lovely and cleaned thoroughly.

If you’re planning a stay here always ask for a sea view or pool view, we didn’t and ended up facing a car park and a huge brick wall with graffiti all over it. The hotel was very dated like travelling back to the 70s when package holidays first started, we booked self catering, the kitchenette was the size of a telephone box, we were a family of 4 in a one bedroom apartment, it had a bathroom one bedroom and a very small living area and a tiny balcony overlooking the graffiti car park, the sliding patio doors onto the veranda were not very secure one door being held shut with a makeshift lock and the other door using a catch that was about as useful as a chocolate fire guard. The bedroom had two single beds and the living room had a settee with a sheet over it to be used as a bed, there was also a fold up camp bed tied up to be used as the 4th bed but the only issues was there was no room to use it when fully opened. I found a dilapidated safe in the broom cupboard and when I went to reception to find out how to use it I was told it’s broken so I had to hire a safety deposit box which was situated in the reception area near the main entrance. Staff were I felt very miserable and unfriendly. The best thing about this hotel was the pool area, great views of the bay. I’m sure there are better rooms than what we got but like I say you MUST ask for a sea view or pool view BEFORE you commit to booking a room. The hotel is located well next to shops and bars and restaurants, you have a bus stop and taxi rank for getting around.

Wir waren dieses Jahr zum 2. Mal dort. Leider hat die Qualität deutlich abgenommen: Der Indoor-Pool war nur von 10-18 Uhr geöffnet, die Sauna ebenfalls. Das passte überhaupt nicht zur Jahreszeit und zum Wetter! Im Outdoor-Poolwar es deutlich zu kalt, im Meer Badeverbot. Da möchten Erwachsene gerne zu Zeiten schwimmen, wenn noch keine Familien unterwegs sind oder nicht mehr...der Spa-Bereich ist neu und optisch gelungen. Allerdings ist es auch nicht mehr zeitgemäß, in einem Hotel mit Spa-Bereich Gebühren für Bademäntel zu kassieren. Mit der Bereitstellung von Bademänteln (in Deutschland auch in 3-Sterne-Häusern normal) würde man auch verhindern, dass Gäste nur mit spärlich verdecktem Bauch im Badehandtuch durch das Haus laufen. Das Büffet war im Vergleich zu 2022 enttäuschend. 2022 wurde jeder Thementag anschaulich von einem der Köche präsentiert. 2023 kann man das Büffet mit lieblos und übersichtlich betiteln: Jeden Tag dasselbe aufgeschnittene Obst (Honigmelone, Wassermelone und Ananas), die Desserts zeichneten sich durch stark fetthaltige Cremes mit jeder Menge Geschmacksverstärkern in verschiedenen Farben aus. Wenig einfallsreich. Leider gab es keine durchgehende Kennzeichnung der angebotenen Speisen (Suppen, Desserts sowie teilw. auch Hauptgerichte waren nicht beschrieben), so dass auch nicht klar war, wo Fisch und / oder Fleisch enthalten war. Erst auf eine Gastanfrage wurden teilweise Kennzeichnungen mit ”vegetarisch” bzw. ”glutenfrei” aufgestellt. Hinweise auf enthaltene Allergene - Fehlanzeige. Als Vegetarier mussten wir uns von Beilagen ernähren, die man freundlich gesagt geschmacklich als uninteressant bezeichnen kann. Jemand sagte zu den Fleischspeisen: ”Wie schade, hier stirbt jedes Tier zwei Mal: ein Mal beim Schlachten, das 2. Mal in der Zubereitung”. Die Fischgerichte sollen gut gewesen sein, teilweise leider stark mit Gräten durchsetzt. Leider war auch das Live-Cooking sehr unflexibel, so dass es beispielsweise nicht möglich war, anstelle von Spaghetti mit einer vorgefertigten Speck-Zwiebel-Ei-Sauce einfach nur Spaghetti in einem Käselaib zu schwenken. Viele der Beilagen waren oft nur lauwarm. Es ist so einfach,ein vegetarisches Hauptgericht anzubieten In der letzten Öffnungswoche vor der Herbstpause wurde sowohl Quantität als auch Qualität des Büffets noch mal drastisch reduziert: Ab Dienstag gab es kein aufgeschnittenes Obst mehr, nur noch Birnen und Äpfle (die kann ich auch zu Hause essen). Glasnudeln, total zerkocht, ohne Sauce, da es keine süß-saure Sauce mehr gab. Nur auf Anforderung gab es eine Mini-Portion Soya-Sauce... trockene Frühlingsrollen schmecken auch nicht wirklich. Den Fitnessraum kann man freundlich als ”in die Jahre gekommen” bezeichnen: Der Boden an einer Stelle aufgerissen (Verletzungsgefahr), ein Multifunktionnsgerät (von insgesamt 2) war während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts (2 Wochen) außer Betrieb, bei dem anderen der Sitz aufgerissen. Great location. Facing the beach. But also if you are transported to move around the rest of the island. The room was nothing special but still adequate. The air conditioning works well but a bit noisy for those who are light sleepers. Personally, we preferred to cut it at night. Parking is chargeable. The breakfast is really great! We can't wait to wake up to enjoy it. Note that there is a dress code for dinner at the Cap Roig restaurant as well as for the terrace/pool on the 5th floor, which is prohibited for children.
