Klinakis Beach Hotel

We have enjoyed a week at the Klinakis Beach. The staff are wonderful and cannot do enough for you. The greek breakfast is superb and everything is homemade. The views overlooking the beach are stunning and the area is ideal with lovely restaurants and a 15min stroll into Chania old town. We are sad to leave this beautiful place but we will return with our friends!

The Klinakis Hotel is a family-run hotel overlooking the Neo Chora Beach. From arrival both Rafaella and Constantina were professional, friendly and very helpful with our many questions/queries. Our room with a balcony seaview was amazing. Comfortable beds, clean linen/towels, kettle, tv, fridge, everything you could need. Breakfast was excellent standard, fresh fruits and juice. Freshly baked Cretan sweet treats and savoury pastries and many other tasty offerings. This gets a 5* rating from us. Best of luck and ευχαριστώ.

Should be rated 5* for welcome, help with any enquiry, staff, breakfast and the bed the most comfortable ever (and I’ve stayed in 5* hotels). Terrific taverna 2 minutes walk, v authentic. Easy walk to Chania, 20 mins at most. Beach access as promised. Views stupendous. Will return and v highly recommend.

This hotel exceeded expectations and is a great value. We booked a superior double with sea-view which was well worth the upgrade. Room was spacious with high ceilings, lots of space to spread out and a balcony looking directly out to the beautiful seaside with beach below. Just sit and watch the sunset while listening to lapping water. Breakfast was a large spread with lots of options, and can be enjoyed either indoors or out. About a 20 minute walk to Chania old town, but walk is along a sea-side boulevard with scenic views all the way. There is also plenty of closer by restaurants and bars. Nea Chora Beaches are in walking distance as well. The beach at the hotel is very small, but would be good for a swim, snorkeling and is kid-friendly but not really a place you’d spend hours. Parking was part of the reason for choosing Klinakis, and was a very wise choice. There is large dirt parking lot right next to the hotel and allows ease for coming and going for day-trips. The hotel is also located on the “outskirts” of Chania and getting here will not involve driving through the small streets of the old port. We noticed tons of hotels/pensions in the harbor-port area and were so glad to be outside of it.

This is a very clean hotel situated on top of a cliff and having an excellent view to the sea. It is just in close distance from the old town of Chania, 1000 meters, and at a similar distance from the golden beach. You could have nice walks, if you like walking. There is a very tiny sandy beach just in front of the hotel, just to get the sun while relaxing. For sure, it is not the idealspotfor swimming there, but in 300 meters you have a nice spot. The personnel are very friendly, kind and helpful. The rooms could improve, but are OK as they are. The bathrooms are very small, this is a bit of problem, but still is not something that will spoil your stay there. The breakfast is generous and of good quality. Maybe the coffee is not of quality. The prices of the rooms are correct according to me. There is also free parking place, if you will rend a car. There are no outside noises since a road is a bit far from the hotel.

Great place to stay on our visit to Chania! Hotel was very nice - not luxury but was comfortable, clean, great staff. And who cares about posh when you have a balcony with FANTASTIC SEA VIEWS, a beach right there and within easy walking distance to Old Town Chania. Staff was helpful, accommodating and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend and will return to stay again on our next time in Crete!

A really excellent hotel in a perfect location right by the sea with a superb view across the bay from the rooms at the front. The breakfast buffet is very good, the rooms are well furnished, clean and comfortable, with bathrooms recently refurbished, and you get a friendly welcome - this is a family-run hotel, and they make a real effort. Special thanks to Anna, who was very helpful to us.

Basic family-run hotel that deserves far more than the one star. Staff were always friendly, helpful, and efficient. Room was clean, and cleaned daily (we stayed for four nights). Distance to town is an easy ten minutes walk. Nearest grocery store (Kavros) is only two minutes away, has all the basics and even fresh fruits. Absolutely love the breakfast spread, the location right on the beach, and ample parking.

Gorgeous hotel, Rafealla and her sister Mary run the hotel like a family home. They are incredibly welcoming. The rooms are modern, smart and clean (cleaned brilliantly by a team of smiley ladies). The breakfast room (bar in the evening) faces out to sea with beautiful views of the bay. Breakfast is also served outside on the terrace where it is cool and shady. Breakfast is incredible: cereal, toast, yogurt, fruit, cold meats and cheese, cakes and biscuits made onsite, Cretan pies and hot choices too such as scrambled eggs and sausage. And when you have finished there is a quiet sandy beach just below the hotel, with warm shallow water. Nea Chora beach is a short 10 minute walk and bustling Chania town another 5 or so minutes. It is a very special hotel with lovely staff and a very welcoming atmosphere. I had a wonderful relaxing time and I am looking forward to going back
