"We arrived 3 hours early and the hotel said the room had been arranged, so we checked in at noon👍 The room was large and the balcony was spacious. The swimming pool on the roof of the 7th floor is also very beautiful with great views. The breakfast is rich in content, and you can taste many of Crete's special snacks. Although it takes about 12-15 minutes to walk to the old town, the scenery along the way is very good and it doesn’t feel far. In short, it is highly recommended👍"

"We originally visited this hotel for a meal whilst staying in a local villa in the summer ..the location of the hotel, quality of the meal and the friendliness of the staff in particular Minos who held the whole thing together, was exceptional. So on the strength of that we booked a week in October,.. lucky with the weather (wall to wall sunshine) and it didn’t disappoint .. we had a lovely week very well looked after, room was spotless, Restuarant meal was really good and Minos was once again the person that pulled it all together and was lovely to watch him show case the staff .. a real asset to Kavos Hotel Suites! Would highly recommend particularly as they also include a rental car so you can get to the local village of Stavros (lovely) and the many fantastic restaurants in Chania."

"Quality of the food is not about 5 stars hotel and has not a good looking (just see the picture) At 19.30 o’clock the stuff refused to make a tea, or other any hot beverages By the phone no possibility to make a reservation, nobody answers The person who makes reservations, Maria Syggenioti Firstly book you a table and closer to the evening has just sent a text message “sorry we overbooked”, then didn’t pick a phone. When you come without reservation- there are empty tables, and you can easily select a place where to chill. Awful service, don’t recommend to visit this place"

"Do not stay here. My partner and I traveled from Boston to Crete expecting a relaxing vacation, but our stay at Elia Sea Suites was one disappointment after another. One of the primary reasons we booked this property was the outdoor private hot tub. We paid extra for this room specifically because of that amenity. Upon arrival, the hot tub was cold and had not been turned on, requiring over 8 hours to heat before it could be used. Later in the stay, the water became extremely murky, dark, and dirty. We notified management, but it took over a day for the issue to be addressed. Even after it was serviced, the hot tub was left turned off and again required many hours to heat. Ultimately, we were without a properly functioning hot tub for four of our six nights despite paying a premium for this room. To make matters worse, there was active construction taking place directly next door to the hotel. Loud construction noise began around 7:00 AM each morning. At no point before arrival or during check-in were we informed of this. Had we known, we would have chosen a different property. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. On multiple occasions, used towels were removed without fresh towels being provided, dirty towels were left behind, and bed linens were not changed. Additionally, both my partner and I woke up with numerous unexplained bug bites after sleeping in the bed during our stay. What was most disappointing, however, was management's response. After returning home, I spent weeks attempting to resolve these concerns directly with the hotel. Responses were slow, often requiring repeated follow-ups, and the process was unnecessarily difficult from start to finish. The hotel's initial offer was simply a 20% discount on a future stay in Chania. After I explained that I live in the United States and had no plans to return, they revised the offer to a €165 refund—approximately 10% of our reservation value. This did not even cover the additional amount paid for the hot tub room and was less than the cost of a single night's stay, despite the fact that one of the primary amenities we paid for was unusable for most of our trip. When I respectfully explained why I believed the compensation was inadequate, management ultimately stopped responding altogether. Problems can happen at any hotel. What matters is how those problems are handled. Between the undisclosed construction, the hot tub issues, the housekeeping concerns, and management's slow responses, inadequate compensation, and eventual refusal to communicate, we left feeling that guest satisfaction was far less important than collecting payment."

"O Chania Hotel é um hotel moderno que tem quartos de bom tamanho e varandas. Os quartos são muito confortáveis, com um chuveiro muito bonito e a cama é boa. Infelizmente, o hotel não conseguiu atender ao meu pedido de pré-estadia de um quarto mais alto e pedido de check-in antecipado, então fiquei localizado no primeiro andar, bem em frente às escadas. A vista não era ideal, conforme a foto, com obras constantes do lado de fora durante os dias. A escada também não tem boa acústica e ecoa por toda parte, com as vozes das pessoas sendo ouvidas bem alto. Pedi novamente por um quarto mais alto, feliz em mudar de quarto, mas eles não me responderam sobre isso, infelizmente. O café da manhã estava bom, não havia uma grande variedade de pratos quentes, mas a equipe foi muito eficiente e amigável. A localização era boa, em frente ao centro histórico e havia alguns bons restaurantes ao redor."
