Welcome Hotel

The hotel room looked very different from the pictures shown online. The carpet and furniture were very old, and the bathroom has a lot of mould on the wall. I only stayed for one night because I had cancelled my original hotel due to its inconvenient location. When I returned to the hotel at night, my access card did not work and I could not open the door. There was no one at the front counter, so I had to call the staff. When the staff arrived, he explained that the receptionist had forgotten to activate my access card. When I checked in the hotel the door was actually opened and the staff said it was left opened to allow air circulation. I called a second time after noticing there was no shampoo or body wash in the bathroom. The staff informed me that they had replaced them with small packaged toiletries placed on the table. However, I later realised that one of the shampoo packets was already empty and appeared to have been used. The lift also seemed poorly maintained. At one point, it stopped unexpectedly on the 11th floor even though I had selected the 1st floor. I had to get out and change to another lift. Overall, this hotel is only suitable for a short one-night stay if you do not have other options as it still considered cheap and it is quite near to the railway station and it takes less than 15 min to walk from the hotel to the railway station.

Close to the railway station, good enough to spend a night before an early train. Has basic necessities. The xingjiang restaurant downstairs is really good.

Bed is big, but not soft. They give only 1 key for two people.

It is near the Station so we can walk. Hotel is not new but cost-effective.

We got transferred to another hotel next door so we cannot not provide a review for Welcome Hotel itself but we stayed in adjacent Green Tree Inn hotel. The hotel we stayed in was very clean and tools extremely spacious. No smoke smell and good noise cancellation. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here

It is closed to the Changsha Nan Railway Station. But it is better to use taxi or DiDi services. It is a bit far from attractions in the city. The subway station is about 15 minutes walk but it takes about 25 minutes to go to the Orange Island. Altogether it takes about 1 hr to be there. The receptions are friendly and can easily communicate with Google translate. The room is nice and clean. It is in the next building which is named “ Green Tree Inn”

Clean and hygienic, with floor to ceiling window. It's not far from Changsha South Station, about a twenty-minute walk, making it a great choice for an early morning departure.
