Our magical abode sits in the midst of a beautiful aspen & pine grove, with the relaxing hum of the creek and fresh air to soothe you.Soak under the stars in our 4 person hot tub! Cook meals with your loved ones in our fully stocked kitchen. Sleep in, take your time and absorb the restfulness.Only a few minutes drive to miles of Jeep trails. Hikes are endless, paved or cross country in the national forest lands (Arapaho, and Roosevelt). Property is located in the spring fed head waters of Clear Creek. It is always flowing, icy in winter, and amazing trout fishing in spring and summer. You are only 35 minutes to Eldora Ski Resort, without having to get on I-70. Blackhawk casinos are only 5 miles from the front door! Black hawk has adult fun with casino culture, great dining options, top-rated spas, and more. Our road is maintained and plowed during the winter season, but 4WD or AWD is recommended from November-May. Without it can turn into and adventure, so please be aware and well equipped to travel in the mountain winters during your visit, if traveling between November-May.This is a great place for the family to explore, or just find a place to sit and relax. 2 acres of yard, woods and trails, perfect for finding a place by the creek to sit and enjoy the fresh mountain air. We are friendly to smokers but ONLY outside. Be very careful with smoking, as our mountain neighborhood is highly susceptible to wildfire. Therefore we ask for no campfires on the property- please enjoy the pellet stove inside, but absolutely no outside burning. Do not drop smoking debris on the ground! We are pet friendly and charge a reasonable deposit for your 4 legged family to join you, but we request that guests must pick up after your pets poo. This is our Colorado passion project that we have been remodeling & updating over the recent years, and we do our best to make it a fabulous experience for our guests! Our cabin is conveniently located just off the Peak to Peak Highway, Route 119, midway between the fun, gambling town of Black Hawk and the town of Nederland, gateway to the Indian Peaks wilderness, in the quiet mountain neighborhood of Meadowlake Mountain Acres. Located on almost two acres, Aspen Meadows has a geological rock formation at the rear of the property, where, after an easy hike up the pathway, you are treated to an almost 360 degree view of the surrounding mountain peaks, including the Continental Divide.Cabin FeaturesAspen Meadows' open floor plan is bright and cheery with large windows and easy communication between the living room, dining room and kitchen. A den/sunroom off the living room is another gathering place and can be closed off to serve as an additional bedroom with the comfy sofa that folds out to a queen-size bed for one or two extra guests. A wood burning fireplace in the living room and a wood stove in the dining room will keep your family warm and cozy, (wood is provided). The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to whip up delicious meals, including staples, spices, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. (Nederland's B&F Supermarket is minutes away for convenient stocking up.) The cabin was designed for you to get away, relax, and enjoy some peace and quiet. The 700 sq/ft cabin may be small, but it is mighty! We have purposely created a space with *no TV* so you can unwind and decompress, but of course, internet is available on the property for your own devices. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are one space allowing for intimate time together. The large bedroom has a king bed (with Leesa mattress) and a fold out twin bed. There is also another fold out twin bed in the living room. The deck is perfect for early morning coffee or late night drinks. In the winter, curl up in front of the wood stove after a day of skiing or exploring. Access to National Forest is directly from the property at the back gate allowing you to enjoy hiking and biking in the summer and fall and in the winter enjoy nordic skiing, snowshoeing, and more.**NEW UPDATE STARTING JUNE 2025**Exterior outlet for EV Charging!
