When I went to Plitvice, there was no elevator in the pula dormitory the day before, and I was a little disappointed with the expectation of parking and breakfast. I saw Hotel Pil and it was very relaxed. It was nice to have a large parking lot and elevator in a pretty building that was just built. After check-in, I entered the room and a large room with a large port, indoor shoes and a rich outlet. Totally 120% satisfied!! We stayed at the Lyra Hotel near Plitvice Lakes National Park in November of 2023. The hotel was very nice with ultra modern rooms that were comfortable and clean. The hotel was in somewhat of an odd location with the nearby village being almost completely abandoned from the war in the 1990’s. The homes and buildings still showed the devastating impact of the war. The village is very close to the Serbian border and many of Croatian residents chose not to move back with Serbia in such close proximity. The hotel was near Plitvice Lakes National Park which is absolutely stunning. The hike down to the lakes is a must and not that difficult. The park is well worth a lengthy visit.

We stayed only one night in a tree house (TH04) and would have probably benefited to stay longer. This review is about the logging only. The tree house are amazing. These are duplexes with 2 single beds and a full bath downstairs. A few steps and you get to a full kitchenette with a dishwasher, a sofa and a TV. The main bedroom is upstairs with its own bathroom. Just a tip, let the water run for 4 minutes to get it to hot.

After Plitvice Lakes, stayed in Huistina for one night. It is more like a hotel than a bed and breakfast. The swimming pool is very suitable for the age of elementary school students. Wi-Fi is only available in public areas, but it is also great in the room. I used a bungalow room. When I opened the door, the wood in the room tasted very good. This is the best place to recuperate in a truly famous hotel and relax in the countryside. The boss and the person who works, maybe the family, this lady is definitely your daughter, very friendly, barbecue is really a good choice for dinner. It's really delicious. I really recommend how the French fries taste like this. I drank wine and beer. The wine was a bit sweet and refreshing, which seemed suitable for beginners, parents and women. At night, you can see the stars in the sky. If you spend time walking in the town and looking at the sky, I would like to stay one more night to get back to health. The atmosphere of a secluded, laid-back country town and the people who work with the owner are very friendly. The rooms in the bungalows are particularly cool, do not require air conditioning, and the woody rooms smell good. This is great for family and great for friends. It is strongly recommended that you do not use Jezera or Plitvice. But the TV only broadcasts Croatia and Germany, not English. Breakfast is very simple, as simple as fruit and corn flakes, bread, cheese and yogurt. This is a good place to hang out with family or friends at night, and chat with beer or coffee...The smell of grass and wood behind the village...For reference, there are a lot of Koreans.

Nebojsa was very friendly and helpful. He kindly upgraded us from a standard room to the apartment for free as he had no one staying in it. He also gave us great advice about visiting the lakes, telling us exactly what route to take to see all the main parts within a day. We had a perfect day out in the park. The apartment was lovely, very clean and comfortable. It felt very modern and was nicely decorated. The kitchen was simple but well equipped with everything you need for making breakfasts and pack lunches (we didn't try to make an evening meal). The bed was very comfortable. The light does come in through the balcony door in the mornings as the sun rises on that side so take an eye mask if that will bother you. There was a fan provided in the apartment, although it was very hot in the day, it cooled down a lot at night and we were perfectly comfortable with the fan. We ate at the pizzeria next door both nights. The food there is good and it's very convenient to be able to walk next door for a meal. We had a perfect stay and would definitely stay here again if we come back.

We just recently stayed at the Pearl of Plitvice. Amazing location with lovely staff. We were there for 2 nights while visiting the Plitvice NP. It’s located within walking distance to Entrance 3 of the park, which is so much more convenient than main gate; however, you must have your hard tickets or on your phone. They don’t take vouchers. This location is about 25 minutes from the main gate, but it is in such a nice area for bike riding, hiking or just enjoying the peace and quiet. The room was modern and really nice. For Americans, the breakfast is more European, but a nice display. Also recommend stopping at the market before heading up the hill for snacks and drinks, the minibar is a little pricey.

I had to take a taxi because it was far from the bus stop. The hotel is located in the mountains and I was able to eat rice on the terrace while watching the very beautiful scenery.
