After a three year hiatus due to COVID, we were thrilled to be back at Villa Ambra and greeted warmly be Marzio, Katia, and Andrea. This was our sixth stay and will remain our go to hotel while in the Montepulciano area. We throughly enjoyed the evening five course meal provided by the hotel and the hearty breakfast each day. As in the past, we were able to purchase both wine and olive oil from the vineyard and groves that both Marzio and Andrea have produced from their property. We look forward to visiting our friends at Villa Ambra within the next two years.

This was a lovely stay in Tuscany. The view from our apar**ent was breathtaking. The apar**ent was perfect with everything we could possibly need for our stay. The host was very kind and friendly and interesting. He took us through a tour of the olive oil production area and I learned so many interesting things about this that I never thought of. The location was near other places we wanted to visit. This was a peaceful and very relaxing place to stay.

We booked a week in this facility. What to say ... was all spectacular! The beautiful, wide room (although it would need a new renovated) and above all very clean. Breakfast really good: wonderful cakes, different mornings, salty cakes, sauces and cheese with hot bread, pancakes ( sofas, which my husband loved). The small but very beautiful pool, we used it some afternoon to look for a little cold. The pool fabrics are provided by the facility. Very comfortable and available staff: we felt really cockooted (especially a couple of Campania staff boys with whom we often stopped talking, and who sometimes advised us). All really very nice, it's a pity that the holiday is over ... Compliments for this nice reality, made especially by young people, and we hope to come back soon!

The staff is INCREDIBLE. The grounds are very nice, rustic and relaxing. There are only a couple of employees but they make you feel at home. VERY IMPORTANT, HAVE A RENTAL CAR OR DRIVING SERVICE!!!! There are no activities at the hotel. The pool is nice but weather can cause it to become unusable. Bring some snacks and drinks as the restaurant is very authentic but only open after 7:30pm. We felt like we were having a home cooked meal from family members. It is slow service meal but very relaxing. Unfortunately, our travel agent did not tell us this so we were left without options for the day and no way to leave. The hotel is on a dirt road approximation 2-3 miles from the closest town, which is very small. We changed our plans as we were on our Honeymoon and wanted more options to eat and experience Italy, and one of the owners/employees drove us to the train station herself. Extremely accommodating and understanding of our situation. I would 100% recommend if you are looking to stay in a intimate and remote location and venture into the local towns at your leisure with your rental vehicle. No

I booked a classic room, not in the main building, But the website did not explain this situation, and the other rooms in the main building are more beautiful, and it feels more advanced, it feels like a hotel. The classic room type is like a homestay, unlike the feeling of a hotel. It is a few steps away from the main building. There are two rooms in the classic room type. There is a public living room. It has to share the living room part with the guests in another room. Although the living room is basically not used... But it is not the feeling of a five-star four-star hotel at all. Although the hotel staff is courteous and the service is very good, I feel not satisfied with this room here, and I don’t attach expectations, because it seems to live in B&B. The room is clean, Breakfast to walk to the main building of the hotel opposite the place, not in the main building, but very close... Among them, the photo is to go up the stairs to enter the room after the door, and the public living room is outside the door. 1. The location of the hotel is very good. It takes a minute to walk to the historical sights. 2. The hotel has a free parking lot. At the basement level, you have to go around the back of the hotel to park. After parking, there are stairs to go up. 3. The hotel breakfast is also good, and the dinner also has local characteristics. The only thing that felt uncomfortable was that I lived on the third floor and there was no direct elevator. The elevator only went to the second floor, and there was a long corridor to get to the room. Not many guests settled in. Quiet, plus the classical-style rooms. , I feel scared at night. Overall it is quite satisfactory.
