Hotel Casa la Factoria by Faranda Boutique, a Member of Radisson Individuals

This is a review for Hotel Don Luis since Hotel Casa La Factoria lost air-conditioning and moved us to Hotel Don Luis. A new but amazing hotel. Great rooms, best showers and comfortable beds. Service was excellent and the restaurant had outstanding Italian menu. The rooftop jacuzzi was more a pool in size and offered great views of the city and the sea. We would definitely come back! Can highly recommend!!

Gorgeous property and room. 2 pools at the property which we really enjoyed especially the courtyard pool which was decent sized and offered sun or shade. The onsite bar and restaurant were both very nice, too. The restaurant especially offered a wonderful breakfast. Our room was ample sized and very comfortable. Would certainly stay here again.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of the old town of Cartagena with a lovely indoor pool. Great breakfasts, nice bar and roof terrace. Couldn’t fault it!

Beautiful old colonial house stylishly refurbished! One medium pool on the ground floor with shade and a small pool-jacuzzi on the rooftop. Rooms are nicely sized, excellent location and close to everything

We unfortunately had a poor experience started from before we even arrived, I would never come back or recommend this to any friends/family. I will still try to be fair with my review. Pros: It has a nice breakfast, the architecture is beautiful, it is walkable around the walled city, and it felt safe. Cons: There was no private bathroom, the staff were unhelpful with a bad situation we were in, it is noisy if you stay on the first floor as everything echoes and you can hear staff talking/walking around, and the king bed is not a true king bed but instead two twin beds pushed together. Why we wouldn’t recommend it: Before our trip even began we had an unfortunate event of our flight being cancelled 1.5 days before. Immediately we tried to get in touch to notify them and see if they could push our stay by 1 night. Going back and forth via some chat as well as trying to contact via phone (no one picked up) they finally got back to us a couple days later saying there was nothing they could do. When we arrived we again tried to plead to see if we could just put that night into a different night and still they said they couldn’t do anything. I am 6 months pregnant and already with all the stresses that come with cancelled last minute travels, losing money on top of it was very stressful. In the end we ended up not getting our money back and booked our last night at a different hotel. Would not recommend.

Hotel Casa La Factoria is a TOP find. Kevin was an all-star and really stood out during our stay, helped us with our early check in and had complimentary deserts sent to our room in celebration of my partners and my Anniversary. That being said, all of the staff were extremely helpful, kind and spoke enough English making communicating easy. The Hotel is as central as it gets if your plan is to Eat a ton of incredible food, party until the sun comes up, and feel safe. It’s about a 2-15minute walk to just about everything you’d want to see in Centro and Getsemani

Hotel is ideally located in the historic city centre and benefits from vomparably quiet immediate surroundings. Good food options at the hotel and immediate surroundings. Staff friendly but slow. Amenities and finishes of the hotel no longer up to standard and need repairs/updates (especially given the price).

Great location, walking distance of all the local sites. Room and service was great.

Top notch service! Room a tad small and window-less, but adequate! Hotel looks very chic and has that boutique feeling. It’s a great hotel at this price point.
