Simply spike! The coronation finish of our South Africa tour. Beautiful large rooms, with 2 large comfortable beds, even a window can be opened a little (a very large plus), so you do not necessarily have to turn on the air conditioning. Big bathroom, extra toilet, extra shower, bath coat and bathrooms are also available. Coffee machine and water cooker are available. There is nothing missing at breakfast, very great. The staff is very friendly and attentive, especially at breakfast. In the entire hotel lobby bar and breakfast area, temperature is not too much cooled. A pleasant smell of “White Tea” flows across the house. A small pool and a larger hall bath are available, both not used for time shortage. You can go to the Waterfront about 20 minutes. A wonderful stay, unfortunately only for 2 nights.

GOOD - hotel service was very friendly and professional; breakfast was excellent; rooms were larger than normal; BAD: the area around the hotel can be a bit sketchy - especially at night; very few options for food after dark; not in a tourist area and not much to see in teh vinicity hotel itself was safe and quiet, but the central bussines district might not be the best option for many tourists. Not really close enough to be convenient to the waterfront - you could walk during the day but uber was only about $3, so that was a plus.

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights recently with a spacious room on floor 1 facing the harbour (I highly recommend this floor as the rooms we are told are larger). We had a nice sitting area by the windows, and the bathroom was large and nicely designed and well lit. The robes were SO SO soft!! The bed was a tad soft but still comfortable. We had an included breakfast daily which was quite good with several delicious hot items on the menu. The porters outside were exceptionally helpful -- we used Uber several times, and they went to the street to ensure they drove in to get us. The location is fantastic with a perfect view of Table Mountain and the harbour, and of course the Waterfront restaurants and shops are right there. My only suggestion to the hotel is that the rooms need a deep cleaning -- some of the upholstered furniture is stained, and the bath grout needs cleaning too. Otherwise things were perfectly clean.

I'm curious why Chinese tourists don't comment on Ctrip. I stayed for four nights and would like to share with you my objective experience of staying. The room is very small. Although the family room has been upgraded, there are two small beds in each of the two separate small rooms, which basically takes up the room space. The facilities are a bit old. Although the faucet and hardware are Hansgrohe, and the toilet is also a famous brand, they are still a bit old and cannot be compared with domestic hotels of the same price. After talking about the bad points, let’s talk about the highlights: the breakfast is very good, with a variety of varieties, and the service is in place. The restaurant is on the other side of the hotel, you need to pass through the Business School of the University of Cape Town, and you can see the Victoria Pier. Okay. So I travel a lot. I have stayed at quite good hotels to give an honest review. This hotel is nothing I have ever experienced The service at this place is out of this world. When I say you won’t lift a finger I mean it in the literal sense of it. From check in to check out. There are a million pple waiting to just assist you with ANYTHING. It was our anniversary and my husband wanted to impress me so he booked the island room. My goodness!!! The space, the luxury, the deco, the design, the shower, that huge bath tub , the views from the balcony. This place is breathtaking The breakfast!!! They had me at champagne and oysters for breakfast. It’s a buffet of anything luxurious you can think of. I was having mimosas and caviar at 8 am on a buffet spread !!! Listen I travel a lot, I have been around but this was luxury on another level. Oh my the gym. If that gym doesn’t motivate you to work out. I don’t know what will I want to go back
