Did not eat breakfast, but the lunch on the first floor restaurant was ok, the room was large, the double room seemed to allow four people, because the four of us opened two rooms, the front desk started to make a mistake and thought we were one Room, and then gave us four room cards, did not say nothing wrong, and later learned that it is two rooms. There is a small swimming pool on the first floor, and the environment is ok. The double beds in the double room are large, with a balcony, a coffee machine, and hygiene. We were on our way to Mexico and had to overnight in Calgary. Hotel had free shuttle and it was available all day on the hour. Our room was quiet and the staff excellent. Our stay was short but we were treated like our business was appreciated. They let us know our room was ready by email. It has an on site restuarant with other options near by.

Right inside the terminal, check-in is right outside the hotel, perfect for overnight stays and early morning flights. The room was decent, clean and tidy, suitable for business trips. You can see the planes taking off and landing at Calgary Airport from the room. There is a bar and restaurant in the hotel lobby. The only drawback is that the sliding door of the toilet faces the bed.

Great stay in downtown. Hotel is within walking distance of restaurants and other attractions. Breakfast was good.

I stayed here for 5 nights. All the staff from the front desk to the housekeeping and maintenance staff were very efficient and friendly. The breakfast bar was ok with a fairly good variety but was barley warm. The restaurant was OK but expensive for what you get. The first steak sandwich was OK, done medium rare like I ordered, and tender but the second one was tough and medium well done and cold. (I ordered medium rare) I also ordered gravy on the fries and will never do that again. The extra charge for a bit of gravy was $3.00. The drinks were very expensive too. Wine was $1.00 per ounce and a Carona was $9.00. All in all, it was a very expensive 5 days. On the up side though, the hotel was very clean and quiet up to the last night. I also have a handicap license plate so I park in a handicap spot. The last night I got a note on my car saying that I don't have authorization to park there and if I don't move my car, further action will be taken. Apparently the other guests were complaining. I took the desk clerk out there and showed him my HANDICAP LICENSE PLATE that is registered to me. The manager should really do his research before he puts notes like that on cars. Also, whoever complained should look at the license plate before complaining about something they know nothing about. I will stay there again because I like the place and the staff--AND--I'll park in the handicap spot.

I have stayed here more than once, Gray Eagle Hotel is as good as ever, and the Chinese food and buffet are beyond expectations. I strongly recommend everyone to stay here!

Visited relatives here and booked for one night. Great hotel, very clean. The staff was amazing, friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. We could hear the neighbors when they came back but luckily they were quiet and had free earplugs if needed :). The breakfast buffet was exactly what we needed and what you expected: scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, potatoes, bread, cereal, etc. The service was also very good! If you stay here, it is highly recommended.
