It is a new five star hotel in songdo beach so i decided to check it out. I had two separate stays for couple days each in the span of 10 days. The hotel is awesome and they upgraded me to a suite. Everything is new and clean... with that said, where do i begin. First of all nowhere in the wyndham website was stated that it was a soft opening. No room service and no lounge. The staff were very courteous but had incorrect information about a lot of things which made it very confusing. The water from the faucet had a little chemical smell. The elevators were the most inefficiently set up from parking to the room. The breakfast set up was scattered in inconsistent. I would have changed hotels after the first stay but wifey loved the rooms so we went back the second time. They should really have some, any, benefits for diamond members other than upgrades which they probably wont give if they are fully booked.

Hauptgrund der Buchung war die Rooftop Bar. Leider hatten wir die Bewertungen nicht alle gelesen, denn die Bar und die Dachterrasse sind nur am Wochenende geöffnet! Wir hatten Deluxe Zimmer mit Hafenblick und ein Zimmer mit Balkon gebucht. Lage des Hotels im alten Teil Busan, mit perfekter U-Bahn und Busanbindung. Als wir ankamen, gegen 15:30 Uhr, war das Balkon Zimmer leider nicht fertig. Man erklärte uns, dass wir dieses ab 17:30 Uhr beziehen könnten. Die Zimmer waren alle gefliest und sehr hell. Im Balkon Zimmer sind die Toilette, Dusche inkl. Badewanne und Waschbecken getrennt, was sehr komfortabel ist. Das Doppelbett sehr bequem und genügend Sitzgelegenheiten und Stauraum im Zimmer, sowie kleiner Kühlschrank, der täglich mit zwei Wasserflaschen aufgefüllt wird, vorhanden. Keine Einwegschlappen, sondern Plastikschlappen und Bademäntel, vorhanden. Der Ausblick vom Balkon Richtung Innenstadt sehr schön. Leider ist der Balkon nur mit zwei Sesseln und einem kleinen Tisch ausgestattet. Das Premium Zimmer mit Ausblick Richtung Hafen / Meer auch sehr großzügig, aber kleiner als das Balkon Zimmer - Ausstattung ähnlich. In der Umgebung viele Restaurants und Shops und Food-Market. Fahrt mit U-Bahn / Bus zum Hotel unproblematisch und direkt um die Ecke. Negativ war, dass die ”Karaoke-Bars-mit-Happy-End” direkt um die Ecke sind. Ziemlich offensichtlich. Das Personal spricht kaum Englisch und die Auskünfte waren teilweise leider falsch. Mit Papago hat es dann aber geklappt. Das Frühstück wollten wir am Vorabend an der Rezeption bezahlen. Dies sei nicht möglich erklärte man uns. Man müsse das Frühstück direkt vor Ort bezahlen. Am nächsten Tag im Frühstücksraum mussten wir dann das Frühstück unterbrechen, um im EG, bei der Rezeption, die entsprechenden Coupons zu kaufen/bezahlen. Das Frühstück für 7.000 WON eher Koreanisch, es gab Toastbrot mit Toaster und Erdbeermarmelade in kleinen Plastikbeutelchen, jedoch keine Butter etc. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisse aller Zimmer trotzdem super.

The hotel is not bad, but our room was quite old. The bathroom has not been renovated for a very long time. There was a smell of cigarettes in the room, which really upset us because we were with children. Pastel clean and comfortable bed and pillows. The view from the hotel is beautiful. Breakfast did not have a very wide variety of local and European cuisine, but it was delicious. The HOTEL is not far from a shopping area with shops, street food, cafes and a shopping center, which was very convenient.

I should keep this gem a secret! Hotel Marcher was a gem. Staff were very sincere. We arrived in the cold and the 2 ladies at front desks reminded me of how mums would welcome their kids back, after a long journey. They made us so welcome with their warm smiles. One of them even lent us umbrellas when it rained as we stepped out. The difference in language did not matter, all that hand gesture and action were beautiful. The room was simple, clean and neat. it had all we need. The bathroom was wonderful with a tub and very useful toilet seat, which gave warm seat in the cold weather. It wasn't next to the subway but could walk to in 3 to 5 mins. It's in front of a huge market with food. We settled our short meals everyday. There's a stall that sells the best hottaek in the night after 8pm. It's one of those stall set up in the middle during the night. Check in and out were very easy. Love this place!

I stayed at this hotel for two days. The room is large, the facilities are complete, the layout is characteristic, and the price is cheap. Next to the subway station, walk to Tucheng Station for 5 minutes. However, I urge everyone to go to Korea and don't use Ctrip in the future. It is cheaper than Ctrip.com. I stayed at another hotel in Busan on August 6 7 8 three days. Actually, Ctrip.com was 50 years more expensive than going to the Internet. I booked for two days with Ctrip and I lost 100 yuan. Don't use Ctrip.com in the future, it's too expensive. And the Ctrip network room model did not go to which network.
