My recent stay at Makarem Burj Al Madinah was truly remarkable, and it is a hotel I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the holy city. From the moment I arrived, the experience exceeded expectations in every possible way. One of the hotel’s greatest advantages is its excellent location, just a short and convenient walk from the blessed Masjid Al Nabawi. This proximity makes it incredibly easy to attend prayers, especially Fajr and late-night prayers, without the stress of transportation or long walking distances. The staff at Makarem Burj Al Madinah deserve special recognition. Every team member I encountered was welcoming, respectful, and genuinely eager to help. The front desk staff handled check-in smoothly and professionally, always ready to assist with questions or requests. Equally impressive was the cleaning team, who maintained the rooms and public areas to an exceptionally high standard. Their attention to detail was evident daily, and their polite and friendly manner made the stay even more comfortable. As the hotel is only around six months old, everything feels fresh, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms, corridors, and common areas are spotless, well maintained, and beautifully finished. There is a noticeable sense of cleanliness throughout the property, complemented by a pleasant and refreshing fragrance that greets you as soon as you enter. This consistent cleanliness and inviting atmosphere contribute greatly to a sense of peace and relaxation after long hours spent at the Haram. Another excellent feature of the hotel is the 24-hour gym, which is thoughtfully segregated for men and women. This allows guests to exercise comfortably and privately at any time of day or night. The gym is modern, clean, and well equipped, making it easy to maintain a fitness routine even while traveling. Having round-the-clock access is especially convenient for guests with busy schedules centered around prayer times. Breakfast at Makarem Burj Al Madinah was another highlight of the stay. The breakfast spread is generous, varied, and well organized, offering a wide selection of dishes to suit different tastes. From fresh and hot options to lighter choices, everything was prepared to a high standard. The dining area is clean and pleasant, and the breakfast staff are attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable start to the day. Overall, Makarem Burj Al Madinah delivers an outstanding hospitality experience. Its close proximity to Masjid Al Nabawi, combined with its new and pristine condition, friendly staff, excellent housekeeping, well-designed gym facilities, and high-quality breakfast, make it an ideal choice for visitors to Madinah. I would gladly stay here again so long as prices remain reasonable God willing and confidently recommend it to anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and quality during their visit to this sacred city.

Very outdated and customer service is terrible. Rang reception from hotel room no answer (2 times) than had to go to reception to complain safe don’t work, they turned up next day to sort it out.

One of the best hotels in Madinah. Very close to Masjid Nabi S.A.W for the men (gate 365) It takes literally 5 mins to get to the masjid. On the quieter side of the masjid compared to the other side with all the buzz and it's very close to Jannatul Baqi too. The room size itself is massive. You get all the amenities in the rooms like slippers, bathrobes, shower gel etc. safe box in the cupboards which are big enough for all the clothes and even have an iron and ironing board in the room. All The staff are amazing and friendly especially the cleaners,. dining staff and luggage men. Very helpful and even gave us an extra 1 hour to check out because we were running late. Id definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Service is exceptional.Very attentive to any comment. Location is just opposite gate 329.Best for women's entrance to the mosque. Area of improvement-Breakfast same everyday.catered for middle eastern guest.Should have more varieties like Malaysian or Indonesian food. Next will be the toilet-shower in the bathtub is a huge challenge for some especially the seniors.Hopefully they will change it to shower room when they refurbish the room.

O nível de serviço prestado realmente sentiu-se desclassificado e fez a estadia confortável e memorável. Um DOS aspectos Mais impressionantes do hotel é a limpeza, e todas as áreas, quer sejam as salas, banheiro, corredores ou espaços comuns, foram inspotíveis e muito bem mantidos. A manutenção de casas merece especial apreciação pela sua consistência e dedicação, a sala foi limpa todos os dias, as toalhas frescas foram fornecidas e tudo foi arranjado bem, dando um verdadeiro sentido de conforto e higiene. O pessoal estava excelente, educado, respeitador e sempre disposto a ajudar com uma atitude quente e acolhedora.Qualquer pedido ou pergunta foi tratado de forma rápida e profissional, fazendo-nos sentir genuinamente valorizados como convidados. A sua hospitalidade criou um ambiente relaxado e positivo durante a estadia. A própria sala estava bem equipada, confortável e bem organizada, a cama estava muito confortável, permitindo um sono tranquilo, e a atmosfera geral Da sala estava tranquila e agradável. Tudo funcionou perfeitamente, desde a iluminação até as instalações, o que acrescentou à experiência sem stress. Em geral, tudo sobre este hotel era perfeito, desde o serviço e limpeza até conforto e gestão.É raro encontrar um Lugar EM que todos OS aspectos são mantidos a um nível tão elevado. Recomendo fortemente este hotel a qualquer pessoa que procure alojamento de qualidade, quer para família, negócios, ou viagens religiosas. Definitivamente escolher este hotel de novo no futuro e não hesitarei em recomendá-lo a outros.Uma estadia realmente excelente desde o início até o final.

I am not going to deny all the good points despite one terrible encounter. - excellent location, near Haram - connected to a mall - a lot of shops and restaurants nearby - staff in general was good -housekeeping people are amazing! One shocking encounter is when I called the reception early in the morning as my old father had fallen from his bed and I needed someone to help me pick him up. The heartless man at the reception said there is no one to help. Later he did send someone and then I called again to ask them to help me call an ambulance and he said ‘isn’t the guy there already’? And i was like yes, but that guy is not a doctor! I need a doctor That cruel guy didn’t offer any help and said i’d have to call the ambulance using my own phone. Luckily, it was not a serious emergency for my dad at the end but imagine what could have happened. Maybe the staff needs to show more humility and be human instead of thinking about their reputation only! Absolutely traumatized by this experience.

Cleanliness of room is acceptable however furniture is dated and carpet looks old, dusty and worn out. Definitely the standard does not stand up to an accor hotel standard. Was really disappointed when we entered the room. Will not book this hotel again if we visit madinah as there are other newer hotels nearby.

We had originally booked another hotel but upon arrival there we immediately canceled our reservation and were looking for another hotel in the area ASAP, something clean, close to Masjid Nabawi and fairly priced.  We knew the name and brand; however, we saw two Intercontinental hotels and went with the one we felt had a slight edge or advantage. The hotel was built many years ago and we were informed that it is in the planning process of a renovation so we knew ahead of time what to expect. It has signature blue carpet and a 1950’s/1960’s vibe that I personally adored (almost out of a James Bond movie with Sean Connery).   Everyday we stayed at the hotel, it grew on us.  The view outside was heavenly mashAla.  Remember you can open the window haha some people I imagine think they can’t.  It such an experience and you have to do it.  Most importantly, however, the sweatheart staff and how accommodating they were, you forget you’re staying at the Intercontinental and imagine you’re at your friends house.  Again, We had an amazing window view and could see in the direction of Uhud.  All The cafe’s are right outside of the hotel, the mosque is literally right outside the hotel and down the walking path, maybe a 5 minute walk.  Plenty of pigeons to feed, affordable Ubers/ Taxi right outside, you can walk to Uhud you can walk to Quba, you can do it all.  And the best part, the check-in/help desk are right in front of you when you walk in to the lobby.   Side note: if you enjoy peoppe watching , you get a great view from your hotel room to the outside.  They have a coffee bar in the Lobby with free dates and Arabic coffee (world class) and this hotel served the best Breakfast and room service food I’ve ever had and I’ve been to 51 countries, aged 44.  It was even at par or better maybe than the Jabal Omar in Mecca we stayed at.  You absolutely cannot lose out by staying at this hotel.  If you have any issues pick up your room phone and dial any one of the prompts and someone will alleviate any issues you have.   The hotel executive management were world class and again treated me like a friend/family.  Based off our repertoire I’d come back to this hotel because Sister Khadijah and staff were so amazing mashAla.

For what the hotels worth, it’s a really good one. The beds are super comfy, the toilets are clean and the staff are helpful. Shuttle bus is provided for all 5 prayers to the Masjid. Used uber sometimes if I had other plans, and it’s affordable. Probably the only negative thing I experienced is that the wifi can be a bit unstable inside the room. Other than that, totally worth it.

I stayed at Sebal Almasi Hotel in Madinah for a few days. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its excellent location, very close to Masjid Nabawi. The hotel was clean and well-maintained when we arrived, and the overall environment was pleasant. However, there are some areas that need improvement. The reception staff were not very helpful, and communication was difficult. The front desk staff often seemed busy with their phones, and for even small issues we had to visit the reception multiple times before getting assistance. Housekeeping service was also below expectations, as no one checked whether the room needed cleaning during our stay. In addition, basic amenities such as a toothbrush and toothpaste were not provided in the room. Overall, the hotel has a great location and a clean, comfortable atmosphere, but the customer service and housekeeping need significant improvement.
