"Perfect for Families - Spacious and Comfortable! We stayed in the residence-type room and it was perfect for our family trip. The room was very big, giving everyone plenty of space, and it felt more like an apartment than a standard hotel room. It was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Mango Hotel for families looking for a spacious and convenient place to stay. Used automated check in and out service hence can’t realky review the service."

A new type of Hostel with 2 restaurants and a natural hot spring.
"Amazing location with spectacular view of aoshima. 3 mins walk to the beach, 10 mins to aoshima shrine. Bus stop to sun messe and udo shrine is right outside of the hostel. Value for money. Very good customer service. Gave guest a room tour on arrival. Female dormitory available with a separate key to lock the door and guest can use their locker. Feel very safe and secure. All the facilities are very clean and well maintained. The hostel also comes with onsen at 700 yen per admission. This is not related to the hostel but a tips for travelling. Dinner is tricky at Aoshima because almost all restaurants would require reservation. Book early."

This is the best decision I’ve made during my trip in Miyazaki. I should have stayed longer here than I did in the previous booking. Almost everything is almost perfect, from the artificial hot spring to the traditional Japanese bedrooms, which are great additions to the Japanese experience. I believe it is one of the most affordable hotels in the area. The breakfast is a buffet that is included in my stay, and I had to add the Dinner buffet, which is very worth the price since the place doesn't have many restaurants nearby. The hotel is also within a 5-10 minute walk from the JR train station. The staff are also friendly. I definitely will be back here when I revisit Miyazaki soon. The day I visited was rainy, so I was unable to visit many places.

The bath was on the smaller side, but it wasn't crowded and was very comfortable. The welcome drink corner on the first floor, where you could sample different alcoholic beverages, was a fun experience. The fact that the hair dryers and showerheads were ReFa products is also a nice touch, especially for women. The location is in a bar district, so it's perfect for those who enjoy drinking.

It took some time to check in and hotel reception (3 person only) considered small for such big hotel. The indoor onsen were crowded for both site (different capacity). The gym and indoor swimming water were good to use during this period. Drying machine for swim wear was great to use. Suite was bigger than expected. Enjoyed the stay very much.

The hotel is located at central downtown, it was noisy at night time with busy traffic and people talked loud on the street. The cooler only set to warm forcibly so it was hot, however the hotel is acceptable overall !

Miyazaki is a small city so getting around is not difficult if you stay in this hotel. There is a few local buses to the hotel from the JR Miyazaki station. Within walking distance of 10min you can find almost everything from shopping to izakaya. The best part I like is the sauna and hot spring. It has outdoor and indoor hot spring baths and sauna. Amenities in the public bath is complete with lotion, tonic, hair gel, shaving form and even towel is provided so you don't need to bring your own. Overall, a great hotel.

We booked a Japanese room and it is quite small. The staff helped to lay the futons and your beds are set up for you quickly in the evening in less than 5 minutes. The room however is a bit small and very limited space left after the beds are set up. The breakfast spread was quite good with Jap and western choices. Location wise, it is about a km from aoshima and a nice stroll along the coast. It also offer wave boarding at about usd100.

橘通りにありとても便利です。提携駐車場が最初わかりづらかったですが通り沿いで近いのでスーツケースがあっても問題ないです。ロビーが、動線が交差する位置で手狭なので、チェックインがスムーズとは言えなかったのが残念でした。無人チェックインできる設備をもっと活用すればいいのにとも思いましたが、部屋鍵や浴場へのキーの説明などが必要で初めての人には分かりづらいので仕方がないのかなとも。朝ご飯は味がしっかりしていてご飯がすすむメニューを楽しむことができました。

Stayed one night, location is a bit isolated in terms of restaurants and things to do. Definitely an outdated hotel and could do with a renovation, however the room was definitely very large for Japanese standards so the was a plus!(superior queen). If self driving there is a multistory carpark right behind hotel so that’s also a plus.

It's in a very convenient location with lots of restaurants nearby and right above Donki with direct access by elevator. There are many choices of shampoo and hair conditioner available for guests to use. The only down side is the air-con only has heat available in late Feb and windows are locked. It makes the room very warm and we need to open the door to let some fresh air in.

Great stay at hotel Areaone miyazaki. There is a breakfast for 1000 yen. We tried and was quite filling. The hotel is accesible by bus from miyazaki or minami-miyazaki station. Advisable to visit aoshima too!
