UUsuário convidadoExcellent hotel with outstanding service. The room was spacious, aesthetically pleasing, and offered a stunning sea view. The view was truly spectacular and breathtaking, especially during sunset—when the sky transforms from orange to red and then purple. We really enjoyed every moment.
Breakfast was delicious—probably the best in Komodo. I particularly liked their serving concept: instead of a traditional buffet, it’s an à la carte menu combined with a small buffet. You simply choose from the menu and the dishes are cooked on demand, which makes the food noticeably fresher and tastier than standard buffet options.
There are also many complimentary activities such as snorkeling and yoga, making the hotel perfect for both couples and families. We will definitely come back again.

GGuest UserI really regret not discovering this hotel sooner! The hotel has a very quiet, Southeast Asian vibe. The service is also much better than hotels near the main tourist street. They offer yoga classes, morning Zumba on the beach, and even a diving club.
I stayed at three different hotels in Labuan Bajo, and if I come back, this will be my top choice. The only thing to watch out for is mosquitoes in the room, but the front desk will provide mosquito coils if you ask.

2. A localização é muito subjetiva. Não fica a uma curta distância da área da marina (área de alimentação e vista para o mar) e é um pouco montanhosa. Apenas com vista para a floresta e para a vila. Mas a distância até o aeroporto é conveniente. A menos de 500 m do aeroporto com passagem adequada.

- free equipment provided for snorkeling and water sports like kayaking, SUP
- gym is small but complete with technogym equipment for both cardio and resistance training eg. Bench with free weights, home gym machine
- I stayed in the premium beach bungalow; spacious, clean and comfortable with all amenities provided, it’s right in front of the beach but has very good privacy due to it being elevated, and has good view of sunrise
- even at night you can do things like spotting marine wildlife along the jetty, star gazing because of its secluded location
- good service

- breakfast is decent but lunch and dinner options need improvement
- food tends to be heavy in flavour and carbs, seems like it’s catered more to local tastes
Everything else is perfect apart from the food - you are essentially stuck on the island for the entirety of your stay due to infrequent boat rides (2 free shuttles a day) and tide conditions (no boat rides at night due to low tide), so do bring some food or adjust your expectations before getting to the resort

Aaimanali2509A comfortable stay for a night in Labuan Bajo. The room was clean, simple, and perfect for a short transit before our island activities. Location is excellent — close to the town center, cafés, and the seaside stretch. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly. For the price, it’s definitely good value.
It’s also a convenient stopover before signing on to any liveaboard at LBJ Marina. We loved that it was walking distance to MimaMori LBJ for a healthy breakfast the next morning, and Kampung Ujung for dinner was still reachable on foot. There is also Cocamama Spa located at the rooftop of the same building, offering affordable treatments — definitely worth trying if you’re in LBJ. A fuss-free and strategic choice for travellers.

GGuest UserMenjaga Bay was a real staycation treat. The people at Menjaga Bay make sure you feel welcome, feel home and feel comfortable.
The experience starts with the shuttle boat which takes you on a 15-30 min boat trip to the resort. We decided to maximize our two night stay by taking the early shuttle boat at 07:15 in the morning. This meant the shuttle boat was shared with some staff members traveling from the city to the resort. The boat trip offers some nice scenery, passing many ships and islands with a nice cool breeze of air and a low sun.
At the resort we were warmly welcomed by the mostly English speaking staff. As we arrived so early the room understandably was not ready yet. We spent our morning by relaxing by the pool and having paid breakfast.
We booked a villa over the ocean. Personally we were hoping for one further out at sea, however, we received one closest to the mangrove area. Besides this providing excellent privacy, the ocean is less inviting as the water is not very deep at low tide and can be brown colored during tide changes. Also the ocean floor there is very muddy. Yet, this did not impact our overall experience at all.
Menjaga Bay is a true staycation resort. You can take some trips away from but in general you’ll spend most of your time on location. About 50-100 guests stay there so you’ll quickly familiarize yourself with the other guests if you are interested to socialize. Also, there are plenty of ways to enjoy your day, whether you book a treatment at the spa, spend the day at the pool, go for a swim in the ocean, go snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, you simply won’t get bored easily.
I would generally advice a 2-5 night stay at Menjaga Bay, any more than that and you may feel bored eventually.
The staff of Menjaga Bay was also very kind in arranging various complimentary birthday celebration arrangements for my partner, these were excellent. Even though my partner sadly did not feel well due to a cold, she still enjoyed her birthday (also because of the menjaga bay staff noticing her illness and assisting in various ways through foods, drinks and medicine).
In general everything was nearly perfect about our stay at Menjaga Bay. My one point of critique is the lack of snack options. In general only breakfast, lunch and diner is offered. Besides some complimentary peanuts at the sunset bar there were no small food options. In the afternoon, it would be lovely to have some smaller snacks that go along great with some drinks. The smallest food on the menu fitting that description was fish and chips which was a rather large portion.

LLucky Love*The hotel environment is excellent. We booked a sea-view room, and there's a beautiful beach right outside. The hotel breakfast was very good, and the lunch and dinner we had at the hotel were also quite delicious.

BBuyaoduiwozuoguilianAfter checking in, I was inexplicably asked to pay 50,000 IDR, which I assumed was a deposit, but it was not refunded upon checkout. The soundproofing was terrible; I could clearly hear people walking by outside. The room was also incredibly small. Inn Room Bajo Hotel seems much better for the same price. I regret not staying there for two nights.

GGuest UserThe place is not remote. It takes ten minutes to take a taxi to the airport. It takes only two steps to go to the supermarket on the main road to buy things. The room is also very clean. The wifi mineral water is available. It is to catch up with the earthquake. The quality of the house is also very good. No problem.
