"A trip to Chongqing is incomplete without a stay at Gongtan Ancient Town's Bashi Inn which is located at the bank of the calm Wujiang River facing the forested mountain. The Inn is conveniently situated opposite the Wujiang Cruise Centre. We had 2 blissful nights and adore the scenic view from our balcony. The room is clean and very comfortable. Our host, Ms Ran Ran, is a very warm and helpful person who had gone the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. She helped arrange all our transportation needs: arriving from Pengshui and departure from Gongtan."

"We really enjoyed our stay here — the room was beautifully decorated, the surroundings were peaceful, and the lake view was so soothing. The moment we stepped in, the stunning scenery right before our eyes was truly moving.
Breakfast, however, was a bit simple compared to what we saw other guests having — just dumplings, with no coffee or tea provided. Our two kids don’t really like dumplings, so we asked the host if we could have waffles instead. We appreciated the host’s understanding and willingness to make the change. Since the portion was quite small, we asked for one more, but the host explained that it would be an extra charge. A plain waffle cost $48.
We booked four rooms, and with only dumplings as breakfast and extra charges for waffles, it was a little disappointing. That said, everything else about our stay was wonderful — we really liked the place, and the host’s warm attitude made us feel very welcome. It was just a small hiccup, but we would still recommend this accommodation to others."

服務：晚上10點到酒店，剛停好車，老闆就到車庫接我們，我們2家人，還給帶小朋友的家庭升級了房間，真的特別好，而且還送了小朋友的早餐，超級感謝老闆，第二天起來老闆給我們做的冬菜麪，加了一個超大煎蛋，老闆的手藝太好了，讓我一個不愛吃麪的都吃光了。
衞生：房間超級乾淨整理，裝修風格簡單，玻璃都擦的超級乾淨，必須狠狠拍幾張
交通：重慶過來的話，推薦順路住這裏，比古鎮好，古鎮很多酒店民宿需要步行進去，不是很方便，我看了很多裝修沒有這個好，而且不一定全看江

The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the whole town in the mountain area is estimated to be almost the same as the old buildings. You need to climb the stairs, about 50 levels. The cruise ship from Yutan to Pengshui usually runs twice a day. It should be 14 o'clock in the morning and afternoon. It takes about 2 hours. The ticket is booked in advance but there is no direct link. Trip.com Pengshui goes to Yutan. Pengshui Wanzu Wharf network car-hailing is very difficult to hit, you can ask the dock staff to help call the car to Pengshui.

晨起推窗，江水正把朝霞裁成金箔，貼在雕花窗格的睫毛上。在序風院，時光被摺疊成水墨畫卷，每個細節都是落款處的硃砂印，鈐在記憶最温潤的角落。

DDaoyuanfangqudaoyuanfangqu客棧就在龔灘古鎮前段川主廟正對面，一邊是美術館和吳冠中紀念館，另一邊西秦會館、冉家院長都很近，吳冠中寫生的龔灘地標一線天街口三角梅盛開。客棧是石板街上吊腳樓，推開窗就是烏江美景，房間懷舊民族風很養眼，床鋪乾淨整潔，浴室淋浴出水量大，客棧帶有餐館，老闆親自掌勺的酸湯魚現稱現做很美味，早餐邊吃臊子麪邊賞江景，晚上可以去江邊步行道散步，白天古鎮溜達，很適合慢生活。

GGuest UserThe room was beautiful, with new facilities, just like the cover photo. It was spacious, with a large balcony, perfect for enjoying a cup of tea and the view. The bed was clean, and the owner was welcoming.
The accommodation is highly recommended, with a view of the opposite side from the balcony.
However, I wouldn't recommend bringing a suitcase, as you'll have to climb stairs after parking.
Because it's newly renovated, there's still a slight smell at night, but sleeping with the windows open was fine.
Around 8 or 9 in the morning, the cruise ships' horns sound, and the noise from tourists can be quite loud, so sleeping in at this ancient town inn is not recommended.

Very close to 桃花园门口, so it was very convenient. The owners were wonderful and helped me in everything I needed it. I am very grateful to them.
