"這間房間非常的讓人驚喜，也是酒店唯一的一個花園房，就在酒店的端頭的位置，我給父母定的，父母非常的喜歡，從下午開始就可以一直曬太陽，曬得人是暖暖的，非常的舒服。而且這個酒店的設施也挺不錯的，酒店很乾凈，新新的。有個必要説的是，有些酒店會做一些很神奇的洗手間的做法，沒有遮擋。那如果是朋友或者是家人出來旅遊的話，就會顯得很暴露，但是這個酒店它非常好，它的洗手間是可以關閉的，就避免了尷尬。我覺得這個是家人出行選擇的一個很必要的條件。另外這個酒店的花園，牆角的這個二樓花園真的是太可愛了，太有愛了，非常的喜歡。對了，這家酒店的停車場非常的巨大，而且是免費的。"

"Everything there was very good except for the restaurant sevice. Don't order the pineapple fries rice: the pineapple was sour and hard with only 2-3 spoons of rice. Maybe it was not the season for the pineapple in December."

"酒店在路邊，好找，有地下停車場，但車位不多，有保安大叔指揮停車，是前後的車位，停在前面的車主要把鑰匙給保安大叔，大叔負責挪車。酒店服務挺好。打掃乾淨，前台有問必答。去的時候正好週六，瀾滄街趕擺，過去走路十幾分鍾，1.2公里左右。不遠。離葫蘆廣場，地震紀念碑都很近。離拉祜風情園2公里左右。我們都是走着去的。早餐品種還可以，味道不錯，我們兩天都是九點去吃，離結束十點還有一小時，菜品沒有了，沒看見添，比我們晚下來的客人衹能吃米線米幹現煮的了。建議這塊要及時添菜。酒店還有中飯，但我們出去玩兒，就沒回來吃。不做點評。整體感覺還是不錯的。"

"All the reviews are true, but it’s not the wooden building that causes it.  Yes, it is very loud and you hear everyone. We’ve stayed in other fully wooden places, it’s worse here. Maybe not the wood but the guests are the problem. Loud Chinese people, walking the stairs with the heaviest pace you can imagine. Maybe help the other guests by hanging some warnings on the stairs: please be mindful for the other guests when walking to your room.  Also loud Chinese tourist on the square below. Not only while eating they scream all over the place, also with the tea ceremony nobody asks them to please stop talking after 23:00/24:00. We were up till 02:00AM because of tea drinking Chinese people at the fire. We stayed in the suite, which is located above the fire pit. Maybe the other rooms are less noisy. At 7AM each morning, somebody ran down the stairs. We think it’s the staff. It wakes you up through your earplugs.  The staff is OK. They are very shy, not rude. They could be more pro active though as we didn’t feel like they wanted to do something.. which is different to rude but also not very friendly.  The other villages around are way bigger and less cozy than Wengji. Also, with this guesthouse being just next to the town, it was perfect to escape the tourists most of the time. We didn’t find other accommodations in Wengji with the same aesthetics as Shishi guesthouse so we can’t recommend other places better than this. Maybe if the guesthouse would invest in trying to keep the noise down under the various guests, with text signs or with clearer house rules (fire pit), the noise problem wouldn’t be as bad.  Maybe if they tried to enthusiast their staff more and keep them from watching Chinese drama shows on their phones all day, they would be a bit more welcoming.  We’ve met a lot of amazing people in Wengji, it’s definitely not the locals that have this behaviour.  Lastly, the suite has a cubicle bathroom in the room, they really don’t clean this well. It smells very bad and just feels dirty all over.  For comfort this place is too expensive, for the location and aesthetics you won’t find better options nearby."

"I drove to Jingmai Mountain with my friends and stayed in Wengji for a short night. The boss was very enthusiastic, contacted us from the time the order was placed, and the room type was upgraded. The next day, Wengji was a bit late, and the front desk brother was still very enthusiastic to greet and help with the luggage. I drank the tea made by my brother in the evening, it was really very, very delicious! The little brother also rode us to the commissary and sent us forgotten clothes, thank you very much! Jingmai Mountain has been raining for the past few days, and sitting on the balcony at night listening to the rain and emptying yourself is a super pleasant thing. The facilities in the room are also very new and perfect. The toiletries are provided at one time. I am very at ease. In short, if you come to Wengji, I highly recommend staying here. "This guesthouse is quite spacious, and there are many common areas where you can relax. It's a place brimming with local charm and warmth. The memory of us gathering around the living room table, drinking tea, singing, and chatting on the night we checked in became the most unforgettable part of my trip. It truly felt like my journey reached its perfect conclusion here. The owners are exceptionally kind, laid-back, and welcoming. They even brewed tea for us and shared fascinating insights into Jingmai Mountain's tea culture and interesting stories about the village. The guesthouse also offers traditional Bulang ethnic costumes for guests to try on and take photos for free, which is a unique and beautiful touch – they even look like something you could wear every day, so I ended up buying a set from the owner. Breakfast was served at the guesthouse, featuring freshly cooked specialty rice noodles that tasted amazing, along with local delicacies like honey cakes and sharp-cornered cakes, all healthy and delicious! What's more, both the guesthouse and the rooms offer fantastic views; you can wake up to a sea of clouds, which is incredibly therapeutic. Sipping tea in the lobby while taking in this stunning scenery is wonderfully calming and rejuvenating. I will definitely be back if I get the chance!"

"Very friendly owners who invited us to drink tea and chat. Owner is from the local Dai nationality and shared with us about their culture. Rooms had breathtaking views of the mountains and clouds. Room was clean although bathroom floor was quite wet throughout."
