Hotel Himmel Und Havel

Having booked this seemingly wonderful accomodation which is situated in a very picturesque part of former East Germany a year ago we were expecting a great stay, inclusive of a meal and drink in the restaurant that had a wonderful outlook over lakes and beautiful surroundings. Instead we were met with the fact that there was a wedding reception taking place, hence we were not allowed to order a drink let alone food in the restaurant/bar...this was reserved for the wedding party?? In addition other outside areas were cordoned off for childrens games and a disco that was to finally finish at 2pm. We were not advised regarding this event hence upon receiving one solitary complementary drink...which i hasten to add we had to sit out of the way in a little yard outside one of our accomodations, before at our own expence making the journey into Spandau for an evening meal....Our party was infact on a cycling tour of the Berlin wall, expecting a chilled out evening and the same hospitality that i dare say the wedding guests received. There was a definate lack of communication on the hotels part and most certainly no accountability for their actions as per a reply email addressing our dissatisfaction , their response simply being that they provided the service in full with staff being advised to offer us a free complimentary breakfast the next morning...the latter did not happen, infact we couldnt even find a member of staff to assist us vacating the accomodation. Currently as it stands this hotel does not deserve business if this is how management treats their guests.

Unfortunately this was a terrible stay for our cycling group (5 people in our 50/60s). The hotel failed to inform us a wedding party was there. They denied us access to the terrace in the evening and said the evening restaurant would just be for wedding guests, so we had to go out for dinner. The disco carried on until 2am and was extremely loud in the rooms. We had just finished a long 40 mile cycle ride and had a long ride the next day too. We felt like unwelcome guests and really regretted our stay. When I complained to the hotel, they said they had 'provided the service in full' - a staggeringly arrogant claim with no offer of compensation. It's such a shame communication and subsequent management response to bad customer service is so poor.

Great location and great staff. Wonderful restaurant with amazing food

Ich habe die Beiträge der Bewertungen gelesen, nur meine Erfahrung entspricht nur einer Beurteilung, ausreichend. Das Hotel ist super gelegen, aber das ist schon alles. Sehr Abseits, was wir wollten, nichts für denjenigen der mehr will. Kostenlose Parkplätze, mit viel Unkraut. Unser Zimmer 104 wirkt abgewohnt. Nicht mehr als 2 Personen. Das Waschbecken hat einen feinen Riss und die Holzummantelung ist stellenweise abgerissen. Die Toilette war schmutzig mit Spinne, die Gardinen hingen herunter und unter den Sesseln alles voll Spinnweben. Ich war an einem Tag anwesend als die zwei Reinigungskräfte da waren. 10 Min auf einen Zettel geschaut, die andere hatte ein Feuchttuch und fuhr über die Toilette, das Bett zugedeckt, die Kissen nicht berührt, das wars. Die Gardine hing noch und die Spinnenweben auch als wir wieder fuhren. Meine Beschwerde wurde abgetan und zwar sehr heftig. Es ist das Zimmer auf dem Bild unten ganz rechts, jeder der zur Liegewiese oder zum Bootsverleih läuft vorbei, bei Fadenstores! Das Frühstück- stolze 18,90 . Alles Geschirr muss man holen, kein Gedeck auf dem Tisch, Kaffee und sonstiges aus dem Automat, Orangensaft war an einem Tag nicht da, der Lieferant war Schuld. Käse, Wurst, frisches Obst, Joghurt in Bechern, frische Gurken und Tomaten, nur harte Eier, je nach Uhrzeit warm oder kalt. Fehlte nur noch das man sein Geschirr wegbringen musste, aber das wurde von einer netten Dame gemacht. Bei Ankunft Schlüssel im Kasten, da Montag und Dienstag das Hotel zu hat. Der Herr hat mir erklärt das wäre sein freier Tag. Bei 60,- + 18,90 Frühstück ein stolzer Preis pro Person. Es könnte ein so tolles Hotel sein, aber die Kritik will man nicht akzeptieren. Es sind viele kleine Fehler die sich so leicht beheben lassen würden und dann würden wir auch nochmal kommen, alleine wegen der Lage. Man hat uns allerdings zweimal das Frühstück geschenkt auch das sollte positiv bewertet werden. Die jungen Leute haben ja noch ein bisschen Zeit Erfahrung zu sammeln , hoffen wir es. Ich möchte auch erwähnen das ich es nicht generell schlecht machen möchte da ich da potenzial sehe und jeder der so ein Hotel betreibt auch mit Personal und Kosten rechnen muss. Direkt in lauf nähe REWE und wunderschöne Spazierwege. Tolles Restaurant mit kroatischer Küche, Luitpold.

Schön gelegenes Hotel mit gutem Restaurant direkt an der Havel. Ruhig ohne Verkehrslärm. Zimmer war jeden Tag super gereinigt. So macht es Spaß.

Ruhige Lage, alles überschaubar.

Die Lage ist sensationell. Das gesamte Hotel und das Personal lässt einen nur wohlfühlen.
