The Grand Hyatt Berlin is located about 5 minutes from the subway station (the subway station is the next stop from Berlin Central Station). The room service size is satisfactory in all aspects, and it is a very cost-effective option! There is a newly built shopping mall nearby, with a large supermarket, as well as a variety of food and coffee shops. The location is safer than Berlin Central Station. It is recommended for families or friends with safety concerns.

I recently stayed at the Maritim ProArte Hotel in Berlin and had a great experience. The location is perfect for exploring the city, with many top attractions within walking distance and easy access to public transportation. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, always available to provide recommendations or answer any questions. One of the highlights of the hotel was the sauna, where I was able to relax and unwind after a long day of sightseeing. Overall, I would highly recommend the Maritim ProArte Hotel to anyone visiting Berlin and looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

This hotel has a great location. The position and evaluation are very good, and the staff are very helpful. When I had a small problem, they quickly solved it and made sure I was completely satisfied.

I can't write a bad review on this hotel. The location is perfect, just a few steps away from the U7 (meaning very convenient if you come from the airport) and the S-Bahn at Yorckstrasse. In the heart of Schoeneberg so a lot of shops, restaurants, delis, bars at your doorstep. The hotel is very clean and very well sound proofed. Breakfast is fantastic with a great selection of cereals, fruit, yogurts, jams, hot and cold delicacies etc. But the ”pièce de résistance” was our room. Spacious, big bed, lots of storage but mostly... the shower! I would have spent the night under the shower if I had to!!!! If i really had to point something out, but it's just my personal opinion that is maybe going against the hotel policy... some of the staff members were a bit laid-back. Extremely helpful if needed (apart from one guy that did not seem to understand English) but i don't know, it's probably me being old. Anyway, I will definitely go back

Really easy to get to from the city centre, this hotel is a 3 minute walk from two different tram stops and five minutes from a train station. The bar and reception at the front were clean and tidy, we checked in and were pointed in the direction of our room (in the separate building across the courtyard at the back); literally ”pointed”; ”i'll show you to your room” became ”it's over there” whilst standing in the back doorway. The room was large - double bedroom at one end, what could be described as a dressing room/study at the other end with a double wardrobe, desk, minibar; wetroom and a well-stocked room-with-a-sink (and hairdryer, mirrors, sewing kit, beauty kit and selection of lotions and potions). Bed was comfy and we both enjoyed a good night's sleep - the only minor issues we found were the wifi not working (we were told this on check-in) and the shower in the wetroom needs adjusting as it directs some of its flow towards the door which consequently floods the hallway unless a rudimentary ”dam” is constructed with towels, Breakfast (served downstairs in the ”building at the back”) was lovely - a good selection of hot and cold served buffet style. In all, a really nice hotel, and we would stay here again. Stayed August 2016, booked as a package with Easyjet.

Four things to know about this hotel before you book. 1. If you book early you will pay more. 311 euros a night booked three months ahead. 200 euros a night booked three weeks ahead. Look at any booking website. 2. On check-in they take the full amount of your stay from your credit card, plus a 50 euros a day deposit ”in case you use the mini-bar”. (In fact the mini-bar is empty - see photo). This might be a problem if you have credit limit issues. 3. They use sweaty, clammy poly-cotton bed-linen - see photo of label. You cannot change hotels because they have already trousered your money. To sleep properly we had to buy our own fully cotton bed-linen - see photo of receipt. The reason they use poly-cotton is explained on the manufacturer's website: ​”Bed linen must be lightweight...thus allowing staff to work faster....Experience shows that savings of 5 to 10% can be achieved”. Nothing about the comfort of guests. The staff say that all Westin hotels use poly-cotton. Totally unacceptable in a serious hotel and we shall not stay in a Westin hotel again. 4. Because of the hotel's layout, most bedrooms are 50 to 120 meters from the elevators. In the course of a day you can easily walk a kilometre or more to and from your room. In other respects it is well positioned, if you wish to be in Mitte, the breakfast is good, and the staff are professional and helpful to the extent that the chain allows. Garden rooms are a very little bit smaller than rooms on the street, but much quieter and a few have a balcony.

Hotel room was small and clean. Great quiet location.Large reception area. Will stop there again without hesitation. Will never book through Trip.com again. Both flights were cancelled. Ryan Air informed us for the departure so we changed to the night before arriving late and extra nights accommodation needed. The app still has us flying on the original date. The return flight was cancelled and the app stated we were checked in and even gave details of check in gate. This meant another night in a hotel and hundreds of pounds extra to fly the next morning. The app is useless. Book direct with the airline and watch Google as it steers you towards Trip.com automatically. The helpline does not answer the phone. Generic answers are useless just like Trip.com Please publish this!

I stayed in the hotel for several days. Very convenient location of the hotel with a beautiful view of the river. Nice interior and pleasant staff. The service is at a high level. The room is very nice and clean, everything is sparkling clean. I lived in a large room and just enjoyed spending time there. It is very nice that all employees are always welcome. You have very delicious breakfasts and I also really liked the cocktails at the bar. This is the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever seen
