For our family trip to Beijing with the kids, choosing Orange Crystal Hotel in Sanlitun Taikoo Li was a perfect hit, meeting all our needs: location, cleanliness, family-friendly details, and service were all top-notch. Everyone in the family was happy! 📍 The location is absolutely fantastic: The hotel is right next to Tuanjiehu subway station (lines 3/10), just a 5-minute walk directly to the Taikoo Li commercial district, making it super convenient for browsing trendy shops and dining at popular restaurants. Buses right outside the hotel go directly to the Forbidden City, Wangfujing, and Tiananmen Square, so there's no need for long taxi rides with seniors and kids. Despite being in the bustling Sanlitun area, the hotel's high floors provide excellent soundproofing, so no matter how lively the commercial street outside gets, the room remains perfectly quiet. The 65-inch TV supports screen mirroring from phones, so kids can relax and watch cartoons in the evening. Minibar mineral water, coffee, and tea bags are replenished daily for free, which is both thoughtful and hassle-free. The hotel is equipped with Tsinghua acoustic soundproofing, so closing the door completely blocks out street noise, ensuring the kids sleep undisturbed. Service is gentle and professional: The staff were patient and enthusiastic throughout, proactively recommending nearby family-friendly spots and sightseeing routes. They were always responsive to our needs, never intrusive but always there when called upon. The overall luxurious and quiet environment, free from noisy crowds, provided a much better experience for our elderly and young family members than other hotels in the same area. Next time our family comes to Sanlitun Beijing, we will definitely stay here again. I sincerely recommend it to all families traveling with children.

Hotel Review: A Mixed Bag – Great Location, But Sleep Was Elusive Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5) My stay at this hotel was a true mix of positives and one significant negative that ultimately defined the experience. The Good: · Excellent Location: This is the hotel's strongest asset. It's conveniently located just 15 minutes from Beijing West Railway Station and is also very close to the embassy district. For travelers needing access to transport or official business, it's ideal. · Dining Options Galore: The surrounding area is fantastic for food. You'll find a wide variety of restaurants, from local eateries to international options, all within easy walking distance. · Comfortable Room: The bed itself was soft and comfortable, providing a good base for relaxation in the room. · Great Value: It is undeniably an affordable option in a prime area, which is a major plus for budget-conscious travelers. The Bad (The Noise Issue): Unfortunately, the noise insulation was extremely poor, severely impacting my sleep. · Thin Walls & Doors: Every time a neighbor closed their door, it echoed through the corridor into the room. You could clearly hear people walking or dragging their feet in the hallways. · Corridor Carpeting: Despite there being a lot of carpet in the corridors, it did nothing to dampen sound. The noise traveled easily. · Disturbing Incident: One night, a neighboring room's door was left unlocked, and its electronic lock mechanism beeped incessantly. I had to get up and close it myself to stop the noise, which was very disruptive. Bottom Line: This hotel is a classic case of ”you get what you pay for.” If you are looking for an affordable stay in a super-convenient location with great food options and plan to be out all day and are a very heavy sleeper, it can work. However, if a good night's sleep is a priority, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere or requesting the quietest possible room (away from elevators and ice machines). The noise levels make it difficult to recommend for light sleepers or business travelers needing proper rest.

I'm a business traveler from Liberia. I initially went Dailian and I wanted to see Beijing for the first time. The hotel is ideally located next to the high-speed rail station and airport. The facility is very clean and modern, and the room is much more spacious than I had anticipated. The staffs at the front desk are welcoming and highly receptive. Whenever I do return to Beijing I'm choosing this hotel. Let me not forget about the breakfast ☺️ they have vast variety of food to choose from during the morning buffet and they all taste nice. 10/10 ✅🛫

Hotel bem localizado, próximo ao metro. Quarto com tamanho bom, confortável e limpo. O único inconveniente foi o cheiro de cigarro. Pegamos um quarto para não fumantes mas, ou o hospede anterior fumou no quarto ou o cheiro vinha pela ventilação. Só foi melhorar no último dia da estadia.

This trip to Beijing was exceptionally pleasant. The lobby offers complimentary cold drinks, coffee, and tea bags. The room was clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding, plus free snacks. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The staff were warm and attentive, greeting me enthusiastically whenever we met. Overall, the value for money is outstanding, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again for future trips. I'm very satisfied with this stay and highly recommend it! 👍👍👍
