Second time here and still enjoying. Just one night there and can totally relax and turn off from worries. Staff is so nice and view from every point is incredible. Beach is clean and villas are so adorable.

The Samed Resorts group offers the guests a free boat shuttle service to Samed Island (even free car parking), which I find very convenient. The staff helped us loading the baggage to the boat and from the boat to the hotel. Ban Ploy sea is located right next to the pier with a few minutes walk. The check-in went smoothly. The staff was so helpful and friendly. He even offered me an upgrade room with the sea front view for 2 nights. The room was clean and comfy. At the back of the resort is a log house cafe, offering tasty cakes and fancy drinks. I feel really relaxed lying on a private beach. In the evening we were so lazy to go out, just had dinner at the hotel‘s restaurant every night. It was not cheap but everything was delicious. Overall, we are very satisfied. Highly recommended!

Regular guest here. The hotel itself is nice but service is different. It tends to be some staff members differentiate the guests depending from which country they are. If you’re European looking, 100% you’ll get a perfect service, otherwise you’ll be not so lucky or even can face rudeness and unwillingness to help. So sad that the hotel policy is so frustrating and undeveloped.

O hotel em si, o restaurante e a praia são nota 5! A equipe está pronta para ajudar com tudo! A praia é a melhor da ilha, na minha opinião! A comida é muito saborosa e os milk-shakes são dos melhores. Os preços para a ilha são bem razoáveis. Mas há uma grande desvantagem: se você procura férias tranquilas com crianças, este não é o hotel para você. Há um bar perto, onde a música toca até as 2 da manhã, em toda a costa. Mesmo sem visitantes. É uma pena, porque a praia é maravilhosa, o hotel e o restaurante também são ótimos. Viemos com uma criança e não dormimos por 2 noites ((.

the sky seaside deluxe is spacious, clean and tidy, and it is located very close to the beach. sawasdee coco is located at one end of sai kaew beach, while it is still near other major beach restaurants, with fire shows, e.g. winkks, grand view and tonsak. it is worth mentioning that the staff are attentive. when i get to the sky seaside deluxe, i need to pass a short passageway via the beach and go up to the second floor. when i check out, the housekeeping staff members were just passed by and they proactively came to us and help us brought our luggages, not just to the front desk, but to the songthaew station. much appreciate that.

Bom hotel, localização ideal, tem tudo que você precisa, limpeza todos os dias, praia limpa. Gostaria de destacar especialmente o restaurante, todos os pratos são deliciosos e preparados rapidamente. Há um clube, bares e uma cafeteria no território. É possível pagar com cartão (tenho sindicato), mas para isso é preciso ir até a recepção, nem sempre o pessoal quer aceitar pagamento com cartão, então insista. Recomendo vivamente este lugar na ilha.

We recently stayed at Samet Cabana Resort on Ao Wong Duean, and it was exactly the tropical escape we were looking for. We booked the Beach Cabana, and we cannot recommend it enough. The Room: Staying in the Beach Cabana meant waking up to the sound of the waves every morning. Stepping out onto the porch with a view of the ocean was the highlight of the trip. The room was clean, comfortable, and had that authentic island bungalow feel while still having modern amenities (the AC worked great!). Being just a few steps from the water made all the difference. The Location: Ao Wong Duean is a fantastic beach, it’s lively enough to have good restaurants and fire shows at night, but much more relaxed than the busy main pier area. The water was clear and great for swimming right in front of the resort. Service & Food: The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, from check-in to check-out. The breakfast buffet had a good mix of options to start the day. If you are coming to Koh Samet, do yourself a favour and splurge a little for the Beach Cabana. It transforms the trip from a standard hotel stay into a real beach holiday. We’ll definitely be back!

O hotel parece um martelo velho. Adequado para um retiro privado. A acomodação não fica perto da praia. Mas você pode caminhar da parte de trás do hotel até a praia em 1-2 minutos. O quarto parece novo e muito limpo. Eu realmente gosto dele. A água corre forte, a geladeira está fria, o ar condicionado está tão frio que a água pinga. A TV tem poucas opções de canais, o colchão é macio e você pode dormir confortavelmente. Considera-se que esta viagem a Samet é realmente completa para todos. As zonas dos quartos e casas de banho estão muito bem divididas, gosto disto. A equipe limpa e troca lençóis e toalhas o tempo todo. A comida do hotel tem uma variedade de menus para você escolher. Reservei um quarto Deluxe Grand Executive por 131 euros/noite para duas pessoas, durante quatro noites. NÃO CONSEGUI TER DOIS CARTÕES-CHAVE PARA O QUARTO. A RECEPCIONISTA RECUSOU O PEDIDO DE UMA SEGUNDA CHAVE DE PLÁSTICO DE 20 centavos!?!?!? SERVIÇO NÃO NORMAL E PRÁTICO PARA DUAS PESSOAS!!! O PRÉDIO TAMBÉM NÃO TEM ELEVADOR!!! Tive que subir para o terceiro andar com as malas, pois o carregador de malas estava em algum lugar... o quarto em si tem dois níveis, ou seja: entrada e banheiro no térreo, quarto e sala de estar no andar de cima. O chuveiro e a banheira da varanda externa não tinham privacidade, pois o chuveiro era visível para o pátio. Fiquei 4 noites e 2 dias com interrupções de água e luz. O happy hour do bar da praia não funciona da maneira tradicional: Pedi Kamikaze e Margarita de Morango com tacos. Bebi o primeiro ”Compre 1 Leve 1 Grátis” e comi os tacos. Esperamos um pouco pela segunda bebida, mas a garçonete nos trouxe a conta sem pedir. O Happy Hour tinha acabado e não pedimos a segunda bebida, mas recebemos a fatura referente a apenas um coquetel de THB 350 e tacos, então fiquem atentos às práticas do Happy Hour do Grand View e não percam o horário de atendimento como nós. 🤭 Problemas diários com a máquina de cartão do restaurante, não consigo pagar com cartão de crédito. Quarto limpo e moderno, mas serviço ruim e quarto nada prático, com dois andares e escadas.

This hotel gave me a very mixed impression. It's located right on the beach, and the only access is from the beach itself. You'll have to carry your luggage across the sand (though the hotel does have porters if you ask at the front desk). We didn't know this when we checked in, as this detail wasn't in the hotel description. We arrived in the evening and had to drag a huge suitcase 15 meters across the sandy beach in sneakers, dodging people dining at tables. Our room was booked for the 1st floor (booking photo attached), but we were assigned a corner room on the 3rd floor. We spent the next three days trying to sort it out with the hotel. They admitted their mistake and promised to move us, but never did, even though 1st-floor rooms were available during our stay. In room 31B, the Wi-Fi signal was completely non-existent. I had to go out onto the balcony every time and stretch my arm with my phone towards the pool. The internet on the beach also worked poorly. The Wi-Fi was only good by the pool. The TV in our room also didn't work. However, this was probably one of the few rooms in the hotel where you didn't need to draw the curtains, as the balcony view was of a wall (most rooms have glass windows and face each other). The hotel has a restaurant with some tables right on the beach; the menu is quite extensive, and the prices aren't inflated. The beach is nice, and the sea is magnificent. Breakfasts were good, with a wide selection, and the room was cleaned daily, with water provided. There's a pier about 15 meters from the hotel, and you can arrive and depart directly from there (300 baht per person). Near the hotel, there's a small shop, several restaurants along the beach, and bike rentals available. The reception can also call a tuk-tuk for you. On weekends, the reception and restaurant were open until 11 PM, and on weekdays until 9-10 PM.
