If you are choosing a place to enjoy your holidays, getting away from crowd and enjoy peaceful moments, it’s definitely a right place for you. Hotel staff is very nice and helpful. Food in hotel restaurant is excellent, they offer different menu for lunch and dinner. Verify options for breakfast buffet, you will never feel bored for their food. Hotel offers yoga class on the morning daily except Sunday. Family or solo can also start with a “ Good morning “. There is a swimming pool, small gym room, different ball games for visitors to chill. Hotel is also connected with different Partners, no need to worry about the day trip prior arrival. They can plan everything for you including stone town visit, prison island , snorkelling. We just enjoy our time during our stay.

The Lux Marijani Zanzibar hotel was a DREAM ✨ The hotel getaway you never knew you needed. The hotel is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes away from the airport. Upon arriving at the hotel we were warmly greeted by hospitable staff and amazing refreshments 🍹 The transition to our room was seemless thanks to our wonderful concierge Temba 👏 The room was beautifully decorated and spacious with a great view of the hotel’s private beach. It was equipped with a hair dryer, bathrobes, slippers, a kettle and a TV (with YouTube access). The hotel is perfect for couples and family alike. With an extraordinary food menu from its three restaurants. The hotel offers regular themed buffet meals ( Mexican Night/ BBQ Night) for its guests. It offers meals right around the clock: Breakfast ($35 usd), Lunch ($35 usd) & Dinner ($45 usd). There is also an option to pay from all-inclusive meal packages upon arrival. Special shout out to Chef Desi for his mouthwatering coconut delights, I will miss that the most! 😂 The hotel’s facilities also include a pool 🏊♀️ and a gym 🏋️♀️ (open from 7am-6pm). There are also various daily activities like Marco Polo, table tennis, art class, cooking class and beach volleyball to name a few. It was overall a great experience staying at the Lux Marijani Zanzibar and I would urge everyone to enjoy this experience on their own. Whether it’s dancing the night away to the music of the live band or just taking a sunset stroll on the beach. It was truly a life-changing and I highly recommend staying here. A paisagem era linda, especialmente o pôr do sol. O café da manhã em estilo buffet tinha uma grande variedade de opções, e o jantar à la carte também era muito bom. Os funcionários foram atenciosos, simpáticos e prestativos. No entanto, as instalações do quarto eram medianas; no geral, foi uma experiência razoável.

Tui Blue Bahari is 5*+ There is space, good food, great private beaches, 5 restaurants, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere. There were more sunbeds than guests when we stayed and towels are available poolside. There are bars in the garden, by the beach and at the pool, which are all manned with waiters and bar staff who are happy and efficient. The hotel has security and a private beach and the local tour sellers wait at the beach for you to engage. If you walk straight into the sea from the resort you'll find starfish, urchins and Dory fish. The room door we had wouldn't lock with a firm push and a couple times after the cleaners had been it was unlocked. Overall though 9.5/10 I'd recommend for any special occasion, or for those who want to safari in Tanzania, or swim with dolphins in Mnemba.

As quedas de energia eram frequentes em toda a ilha; sofri três interrupções diárias, tanto no restaurante quanto no meu quarto, e todas foram restabelecidas em dez segundos. Alguns funcionários se mostraram antipáticos com pessoas de ascendência asiática, incluindo uma chef que ocupava o cargo de chefe de cozinha (o cargo de chef muda diariamente). Ao fazer o check-in, um recepcionista pegou minha pequena mochila (uma mochila minúscula, pois deixei minha bagagem no Kilimanjaro em vez de Zanzibar), que eu já carregava comigo. Ele a retirou à força para receber uma gorjeta, mesmo depois de eu dizer que não precisava dela. Em seguida, entrou no meu quarto e conversou comigo por um longo tempo, recusando-se a sair como se temesse que eu não deixasse gorjeta. Acabei dando-lhe uma gorjeta. Ao fazer o check-out, perguntei se poderia estender minha estadia por uma hora, pois meu voo havia atrasado. Os funcionários confirmaram que não era possível estender o check-out, mas que eu ainda poderia usar as bebidas, lanches e outras instalações do hotel. Como eu tinha um pacote com tudo incluído, confirmei com um homem e uma mulher na recepção (meu voo atrasou três horas, o horário de check-out era 12h e eu queria sair do hotel por volta das 13h). Eles disseram que sim. Então, às 12h30, tomei um copo de suco de laranja na piscina. Quando saí do hotel às 13h, fui parado e me pediram para pagar. O funcionário que havia confirmado comigo antes, junto com um garçom (não o responsável pelas bebidas), discutiu comigo na frente do supervisor. Finalmente, o supervisor, James, disse que estava tudo bem e me deixou ir. No bar da praia, um dos bartenders também foi discriminatório com asiáticos e bajulava pessoas brancas. Sentei-me e ele me ignorou por um longo tempo, mesmo depois de eu ter pedido o cardápio educadamente duas vezes, fingindo não ouvir. Assim que uma pessoa branca se sentava, ele imediatamente ia conversar com ela. Fiquei insatisfeito com o serviço em geral. O inglês limitado de alguns funcionários causou mal-entendidos (estudei no exterior por muitos anos e me formei em Letras - Inglês), e as discussões excessivas deles na frente dos clientes não demonstraram nenhum profissionalismo. Também houve incidentes discriminatórios, incluindo pressão para que eu colocasse uma gorjeta na minha sacola. A experiência com o serviço foi péssima do começo ao fim. A praia é ótima e a localização do hotel é boa.

My stay at Nungwi Dreams by Mantis was absolutely magical. Waking up to the ocean in view and catching the sunrise daily was golden – a truly breathtaking way to start each day. The hotel’s private beach was such a serene and peaceful retreat, offering the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the turquoise waters away from the crowds. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring I had the best night’s sleep, and the staff were so attentive and helpful, always going above and beyond to make my stay truly special. The food was top-notch, with every dish prepared to perfection, and the night entertainment was amazing, adding a lively yet elegant touch to the evenings. The rooftop bar, with its stunning panoramic views of the ocean, was an absolute highlight – a sight to behold and the perfect place to unwind. Nungwi Dreams by Mantis is a serene oasis away from the busyness of Nungwi, offering both relaxation and unforgettable experiences. I can’t wait to return to this little slice of paradise!

Eu e minha amiga ficamos 3 dias e 2 noites e foi ótimo! Chegamos por volta das 9h, bem antes do horário de check-in, e fomos muito bem recebidas, com direito a café e frutas enquanto preparavam nosso quarto com antecedência! O quarto era muito melhor do que esperávamos. O ar-condicionado foi a primeira vez que tivemos ar-condicionado em toda a nossa estadia de um mês na Tanzânia! O quarto era espaçoso, com uma varanda privativa, um ótimo banheiro e uma decoração muito bonita! O café da manhã era bom e a equipe foi extremamente gentil e atenciosa com todas as nossas necessidades. A localização é ótima, a 5 minutos a pé da praia e de um ótimo restaurante chamado Maisha, onde jantamos quase todas as noites. A área também parecia muito segura! Mesmo no final da nossa viagem, com nosso voo às 22h, eles nos deixaram deixar nossas malas no hotel enquanto passávamos o dia na praia, e até nos permitiram voltar para trocar de roupa e esperar o táxi chegar! No geral, uma ótima estadia por um ótimo preço, ficamos muito felizes por termos tido a oportunidade de nos hospedar aqui!

Everything's good, but the rooms look a bit on the economical side, though that's a matter of taste. The internet is a real problem; it's slow and barely available in most rooms.

O quarto é bem planejado, limpo e iluminado. Duas garrafas de água são fornecidas todos os dias. O primeiro andar tem acesso direto à piscina. A piscina é limpa e bonita. O café da manhã é mediano. O jantar pode ser reservado com antecedência. O hotel fica a 500 metros da praia.

Отель очень удобно расположен. Красивая дорожка к пляжу, через ресторанчик. Лежаки и зонтики бесплатно при отеле. Полотенца пляжные выдают на ресепшене. Возле этого отеля самая широкая часть пляжа, поэтому чтобы искупаться, нужно прости около 50 м по мягкому белому песку. Можно лечь у океана на полотенце, но там вас замучают местные ”фейк-массаи”, очень навязчивые, но безопасные. Поэтому лучше лежать на территории отеля, а чтобы искупаться, немого пройти. У самого океана я вещи не оставляла, в целях безопасности, на лежаках - спокойно. Завтраки вкусные. Сок свежевыжатый, каждый день разный. Тарелка фруктов, тосты, блиныи яичница с разными дополнениями (сосиски, говядина, грибы, бобы...). Цены в ресторане при отеле дороже немного, чем в других кафе, если кушать днем, слетается много мух и нападают на еду, по утрам их нет. (Я ходила рядом, слева от пляжа Furana ресторан, там мух нет, вкусно и красиво!!!) При отключении электричества, в отеле есть генератор, без электричества не останетесь. С водой тоже проблем не было, немного слабый напор только. Обязательно купите переходник, английские розетки. Иначе по приезду не сможете подзарядить телефон. Персонал - просто супер! Девочки на ресепшен и горничные восхитительны! Отдельное им спасибо! Номер простой, но в целом нормальный, учитывая, что это Африка, изысков не ждите. Кондиционер работал хорошо. Фен был. В отеле в основном иностранцы, из русских я была одна, но в соседней Тропикане очень много соотечественников. Чтобы произвели уборку в номере необходимо ключ оставить на ресепшен. Воду так же можно каждый день брать на ресепшене. Отель мне понравился! Однозначно могу сказать вернулась бы сюда! Цена - качество! Сейчас переехала на Нунгви - здесь мне не нравится, пляж намного хуже, с лежаками проблема, много лодок в море и толпы прилипал. И цены в ресторанах не дешевле, чем на Кендве. Если вас интересует пляж и океан однозначно - Кендва. Если отдыхаете с детьми - тоже Кендва!
