The entire property is meticulously maintained, offering a spotless and peaceful environment that is perfect for unwinding. The attention to detail in both the interior and exterior cleanliness was simply outstanding. The resort's views are nothing short of breathtaking. Prior to arrival, I had reservations about the room rate, considering it somewhat high. However, the moment I was greeted by the magnificent panorama from my room, all doubts dissolved. The unparalleled vista made it clear that the value received far exceeded the cost. Adding to the perfection was the incredible staff. Their genuine warmth and eagerness to help were remarkable and made the stay truly special. Every aspect of this visit was memorable. Thank you for an absolutely wonderful experience."

"The hotel is new, modern, and clean but limited in what it offers and inconveniently located for the nearest towns (5-6KM from Sabang, further from White Beach). There is nowhere to walk or eat anywhere close and hotel restaurant offerings are limited and overpriced. We had to use a TukTuk driver throughout our stay to go to places to do anything. The hotel beach section is small and dull and in need of a clean up as there was litter in the water and on the beach itself. The water is no good for snorkling. The hotel pool is smallish and needs more filtering. Staff were friendly and helpful. The place was safe. The room was relatively comfortable although there is no fridge. The bathroom was clean and modern although the water pressure for the shower is low. The view from the room over the bay was nice. The pricing was reasonable for island accommodation (generally significantly more expensive than city hotels). There are two canoes for general use."

"Чудесное место для остановки. У нас было уютное, просторное бунгало с небольшой терассой. Не хватало только холодильника, но это никак не повлияло на общее впечатление. Мы приехали около 2х часов ночи, нас дождались и заселили, несмотря на то, что заселение до 22.30. Ухоженная, территория, потрясающий сад растений. В отеле есть спа, неплохой массаж. Удобное месторасположение - чуть в стороне от суеты, есть свой пляж. Рядом отели без пляжа с мощёной набережной. Дайвинг брали в другом месте, так как в отеле все было забронировано. У нас был но ер без завтраков. Его можно взять и оплатить на месте. Мы завтракали в разных местах, все в пешей 5-ти минутной доступности. В поисках ужина обошли несколько мест, в итоге оказалось, что в этом отеле самая вкусная еда. Повару отдельное спасибо!"

"The resort is nestled in a quiet harbour within a small village just a short distance from Puerto Galera — you can reach the town in about 10 minutes by tricycle for 50 pesos. The property sits right on the waterfront, with its courtyard opening directly onto the bay. The setting is incredibly serene, cosy and picturesque. The grounds feature plenty of relaxing spots: comfortable chairs, sun loungers and hammocks where you can unwind. We especially loved the chair near the large tree — it was the perfect place to relax! The sea near the resort is a bit murky due to local currents, so not many people swim here. However, this isn’t an issue at all, as you can quickly and affordably reach the stunning beaches of Sabang (I highly recommend La Laguna) by tricycle — or even on foot if you’re up for a walk. During low tide, you can explore the seabed right near the hotel. The resort also has a small swimming pool, and despite other guests staying there, we never had any trouble finding space to take a dip. The rooms are clean and well‑maintained, featuring a small kitchenette, stylish bathrooms and even a bathtub. We stayed on the ground floor, so we occasionally noticed small ants and once spotted a gecko — but they never caused any inconvenience. Please note that the air conditioning is rather weak, so the room might feel a bit stuffy or not quite cool enough at times. There’s both a ceiling fan and a standing fan available, though, and overall the accommodation was comfortable. The on‑site restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes for breakfast and other meals, with prices typical for a resort area. We were very pleased with the food. The staff are attentive, always smiling and eager to help. During our week‑long stay, the resort wasn’t crowded, which made for a truly relaxing experience — you really get what you came for. Occasionally, local guests can be a bit noisy, laughing loudly or singing karaoke, which might disturb your sleep or meditation. However, this is not the resort’s fault, and it’s still relatively quiet compared to other spots around Puerto Galera, such as White Beach. What could be improved: 1) Flip‑flops. It’s odd that a seaside resort doesn’t offer free flip‑flops like most similar places do — they only rent them out here. Even budget hotels usually provide this small convenience. 2) Charge for outside food. Corkage fees are normal, but charging an extra 150 pesos for any outside food is too much. Even though we weren’t charged, the mere existence of such a rule makes the resort look stingy. This rule should be removed. 3) Wi-Fi was dead almost all of the time. Don’t rely on it. Thanks to the Blue Crystal Resort for a nice stay! I highly recommend it."

"Excellent place to stay in if visiting Sabang. The only downside are the 106 steps to climb to the room. I got the economic room, which has excellent value for the money - it is simple, spacious, with working A/C and fridge, good prices for the mini bar. The staff is amazing - they helped me with booking the transportation to the ferry pier and buying the ferry ticket. The resort is nicely designed and well-maintained, with a clean pool and many areas to rest. Overall, a great place to stay in Sabang, Puerto Galera"

"Great service . They are always friendly and helpful. Food is best I had in years if I compare another hotels . And bug bonus is that the kit hen also make food on demand . So if not on menu they do on request and it is worth to pay some extra money. Only downside is that trip.xom do not mention that beside the 30 peso terminal fee . And then on tge another side you need to pay 120 peso tourist tax . And as last 300 peso each person to go to the hotel. But for sure I will go back there"

"Casalay Resort truly felt like a home away from home. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the amazing staff who made us feel like family. Everyone was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and genuinely caring — we especially loved catching up with them after our daily activities. It’s those small, personal touches that made our stay so special and unforgettable. The resort itself is a peaceful and beautiful escape — the villas are charming and surrounded by nature. Breakfast was always delicious and filling, the perfect way to start each day. We do have a few small suggestions that might make future stays even better: 1. Blackout curtains on the villa verandas for those who like to sleep in. 2. Clothing hooks in the shower or changing rooms would be super convenient. 3. It would be great to have an option for two queen beds in rooms, especially for friends traveling together. 4. And if all villas are fully booked, we think it would be such a lovely idea for the resort to organize a long dinner or a small evening activity for all guests to connect and enjoy the evening together under the stars. Overall, we had an amazing experience and are already looking forward to coming back. Thank you again to the entire Casalay team for making our stay so warm, relaxing, and memorable. Como não somos fluentes em inglês, ficamos muito ansiosos no caminho para Puerto Galera e até chegarmos no hotel, mas assim que chegamos no hotel, todos os funcionários do hotel nos ajudaram, então não tivemos nenhuma preocupação e me senti confortável. A localização, atividades, comida, pessoas, cães e gatos foram ótimos! É um lugar onde há poucos japoneses, mas se você tiver oportunidade, gostaria que você fosse do Japão para Puerto Galera ♡ e Edgewater Hotel!"

"Énorme déception. J'avais sélectionné cet hôtel pour profiter de son emplacement en bord de mer immédiat. Mais l'agencement étrange de l'hôtel fait que la plupart des chambres donnent sur le couloir, obligeant à fermer les rideaux qui sont des rideaux occultants. Résultat : d'une chambre super lumineuse avec possiblement vue sur mer que vous espériez, vous vous retrouvez dans une chambre complètement sombre. Aucun intérêt dès lors d'être au bord de la mer. (Photos prises porte ouverte et rideaux ouverts). La qualité générale de l'hôtel est moyenne, et les prix pratiqués sont donc excessifs. Taille de la chambre correcte, mais : - pas de chaise ni table disponibles. Vous n'avez que votre lit pour vous asseoir, manger, travailler,.... - climatisation bruyante, que vous ne pouvez donc pas laisser fonctionner la nuit si vous voulez dormir correctement. - penderie, mais pas de porte-manteaux dedans. - un réfrigérateur, mais qui ne fait pas de froid, voire qui chauffe. - pas de gel douche disponible dans la douche Pas de problème sur la propreté. Bonne qualité de literie également. Petit-déjeuner simple, servi à l'assiette. Pas un hôtel où je reviendrai et que je recommande pas forcément non plus."
