Novotel Suites Bangkok Sukhumvit 39

The location is good but the toilet in the room was dirty, smell bad.

A very decent hotel. Rooms are very spacius, there is a kitchen and a big fridge, so if you like to cook you can. Swimming pool is shallow, but very decent. Near by supermarkets and lot's of restaurants, mainly Japanese but also Thai and Italian. BTS is not too far, you can walk over there in 10 min or less, or take the tuk tuk from the hotel. This is definitely a place I will visit again when in Bangkok

As a frequent traveller, averagely travelling few times per month and not less than 20 times to Bangkok, I truly disappointed for this hotel. Each time I read a review, I always go for the positive points and tend to ignore the negativity. Sadly, not apply to this time. I found the room very stink, smell like rubbish. Despite my complaint to the front desk, I received a feed back from them that they will send a housekeeping to check. After the checking, I was told that the house keeper said my room is normal. My complaint has been totally ignored! The hygiene issues not only apply to their rooms, but the gym room. It is so run down and the equipments all are rusty. I have attached the photos for your own reference. The location is a nightmare, you need to walk about 15 minutes from Main Street and the street is very dark during the night. This is not like Bangkok at all, very difficult to access through a very small and congested road without any shops at all. This is a huge spoiler. I have paid in advance from 7 May to 12 May but have to give up and have to check out early despite paying in full and check in to other hotels. This hotel is not qualified to Novotel brand and I am wandering how Novotel is allowed this to happen? The hotel owner obviously want to run stars hotel with budget hotel mindset!

Everything was nice. The location is too far from the main road but you can take the motorcycle or taxi, so yeah everything was great.💖

The hotel lighting ambience is a bit dark not a bright so it is not created welcoming feel when you arrive to the hotel, The location is in the middle of Sukhumvit 39 so you need to take motorbike taxi to go to BTS or shopping mall where is closed by. The staff service is average and with Novotel brand, it is created my expectation beyond what I have received during my stay.

Good location that’s easily accessible. Hotel is at a reasonable price point and the rooms are huge. There are convenience stores and cafes nearby so you don’t need to worry about lacking anything.

Stayed there the second time. Really liked in the first time. This time she gave me a room right near to the bar which didn't stop to work at least till 3am, and I was exhausted. Additionally to that, a loud law frequency noise right near my room started after 2, at least couple of hours time to time. I'm not sure what it was, definitely not a washing machine, they gave them on every balcony, but they aren't noisy. Maybe it was I real laundry, I'm not sure. Anyway, I couldn't sleep that night and because of this lost the whole next day, couldn't really do anything interesting. And the next night I had 5 hours flight the whole night. The staff didn't want to give me another room, she told there is no more left which I hardly believe. Only on the second day (which I booked just to sleep a couple of hours before my flight) they changed for a quiet room in the next building. The first (noisy) room wasn't also cleaned properly, see the picture. I showed that picture to the staff.
