"The facility is more likely an apartment . A big space for family traveler- We are family of 4. Our rooms have a onsen bath which is very good. Room was equipped with all necessary cookware. It is good for preparing breakfast.Also very clean! Location is good in case of travelling by car otherwise it’s quite far from Nikko train station. 1 minute walk to 7-11 and 5 minutes drive to big supermarket where you can find everything. Check in process is OK and convenient but you have to read instructions email very carefully, hotel will sent to guest 1 day! prior to check in date."

"One of the worst locations at Kinugawa Onsen area. Hidden in the mountain, no significantly beautiful view. Despite we need to pay for ”Hoshino Resort price”, unlike other cheaper hotels, we need to PAY for TAXI ourselves and getting a taxi during new year time is a terribly painful. Hotel staff lack of initiatives getting us cab instead we need to open different apps and such ... and on the way back the following day we ended up walking for 20 mins by ourselves .... Food is ok, onsen is ok, cleanliness ok, but nothing super ordinary. You can pay attention to details in decorations and inhouse services, but you can't pay attention to one of the most obvious services you HAVE TO provide to your guests, Hoshino ---- shuttle service ......."

"Cerca de 10 minutos de ônibus da Estação Tobu Nikko, ao lado da parada do Jardim Botânico Nikko. Ao longo do caminho, há uma parada chamada ``Shinkyo'', que fica próxima ao acesso ao Santuário Nikko Toshogu. O ponto de ônibus mais próximo é o Chuzenji Onsen, o que o torna conveniente para ir às Cataratas Kegon. O exterior é um edifício de estilo ocidental de três andares rodeado por árvores, e o interior e o grande banho público (fonte termal) com banho ao ar livre eram bem conservados e encantadores. "I had a truly wonderful stay at Hatago Nagomi. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Their hospitality made us feel so welcomed and comfortable throughout our stay. The food was absolutely amazing. Every meal was beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared. The dishes were not only delicious but also showcased the freshness and quality of the ingredients. It was truly a highlight of our trip. The view from the hotel was breathtaking. Overlooking Lake Chuzenji, the scenery was peaceful and stunning, especially in the morning. Waking up to such a beautiful view made our stay even more memorable. "This hotel is recommended. Great buffets with variety of options (japanese, western, tempura, wagyu). Fruit taste was not as good as we expected though and you might not feel excited much about the food after a couple days as they’re pretty much the same. Wonderful public baht with generous amenities provided. Pajama is not needed if you enjoy wearing yukata and sock when sleeping at night as we did. Staff were also friendly. We had a great time overall."

"I don’t understand why someone would leave a negative review due to their own negligence. Trip.com clearly mentioned the additional 300-yen tax (I assume this is the onsen tax) per person, yet they still claimed they were “scammed.” My overall experience at Hotel Euro City was wonderful. The staff were extremely nice and helpful, and the shuttle bus service was amazing. If you want to get to the hotel easily, check the shuttle schedule on the hotel’s homepage so you don’t have to walk from the station. They run it every day at 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, 15:15, 16:15, 17:15, and 18:15 from “Nikko Station Hotel Classic,” right next to JR Nikko Station. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the onsen in the backyard was great. It’s true that the room had a mild smell, but I assume it was due to recent pest control (it smelled like pesticide). Just open the windows for a while and it goes away. Breakfast was okay—not as fancy as in the advertisements, maybe because it wasn’t peak season.
