We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect – close to the city center yet very quiet. The beds were extremely comfortable, which made our stay very relaxing. What truly stood out were the incredibly kind and welcoming hosts. They even invited us to a traditional tea ceremony, which was such a memorable experience. We also really enjoyed the authentic Chinese breakfast that was served. We can warmly recommend this hotel to everyone and would be delighted to return one day.

Although it's just a boutique hotel , this newly opened hotel is equipped with all the modern technologies like AI control of all the room facilities, robot delivery services, clean and nicely decorated room , decent soundproof that's allowed you to have a good quality stay and rest. The hotel is tastefully decorated from the moment you step in and the best part is the view from the open air platform that's allowed you to have a wonderful night view of the city. The Breakfast is one of the best of my Shandong trip and of course the best stay, even on par with some of the international Chain luxury hotels. The owner and his team are always there ready to offer assistance. Qufu was one of our favourite places and so was this interesting hotel! Right opposite the city wall and near the gate for the changing of the guard and lightshow, and of course the famous Confucius temple and mansion. The hotel seems all dedicated to promote the ancient values and arts, the villas are exciting to explore and the furnishings are gorgeous, full of details, at the same time clearly designed to be high quality accommodation, and extremely spacious. Also the restaurant is a delight and breakfast a real treat. Our stay was a highlight in so many ways, not least thanks to the friendly and passionate staff, thanks a lot!

The hotel has a predominantly Chinese resort-style vibe, and I'd give top marks for its location, facilities, amenities, and service. Most importantly, the hotel's atmosphere is fantastic. The hotel is just a wall away from the Three Confucius Sites scenic area, but compared to the uninspired tick-the-box sightseeing, a staycation at QuFu JW Marriott completely blows it out of the water. Before coming, I checked some online reviews, and some mentioned the hotel's hardware was subpar. I actually think that's a bit unfair. Firstly, the room's layout is excellent, giving a very well-designed feel. The bathroom features Kohler fixtures, and for a hotel opened in 2019, it even has a Kohler automatic toilet. My only two minor criticisms are that the night light isn't very bright, and the water temperature fluctuates during showers. The hotel's soft furnishings are also very interesting, with many books of ancient Chinese poetry (Shijing) in seal script and bamboo carvings. The decor is very Qufu-esque, incorporating many local elements, which is truly wonderful. Regarding amenities, I tried the hotel's Chinese restaurant and the barbecue restaurant. Both offer great value for money, and the service quality is excellent, with the dishes receiving top marks. At the Chinese restaurant, I recommend the stir-fried shrimp with cabbage, and at the barbecue restaurant, the pork belly skewers. The Chinese restaurant's decor also has a very Confucian feel, and the barbecue restaurant even has a live singer, making the atmosphere truly superb. As for breakfast, guest services actually provided a complimentary one, but they stop serving at 10 AM, and I only woke up at 10:01 AM... This is probably my only minor regret, but it's not a big deal and gives me something to look forward to for my next visit! Here's a small suggestion: for a resort hotel, breakfast should ideally be served until at least 10:30 AM. In terms of guest services, both the concierge and the WeChat butler were excellent, with very prompt responses to requests. I'm very grateful for them making me feel right at home. The welcome fruit delivered in the evening was ginseng fruit, and although there wasn't a huge variety, it was unique and tasted particularly good. Finally, a huge thank you to: the manager of the Chinese restaurant (I actually gave a small suggestion regarding the food presentation, and because of their excellent service attitude, despite a minor issue, they even sent me a fruit platter – truly embodying Qufu hospitality's humble approach), Sun Na and Zhang Xue from housekeeping, and Xiao Yuan and Xiao Gao from guest relations. Thank you all for providing me with such a 'home away from home' experience.

One of the beset Shangri-la stays in a long while. The service of the staff was top-notch from the start. They were ethusiastic and welcoming. They would go above and beyond to get things done and were friendlly at all times. The best thing is they would figure things out ahead for you so you don't have to think. Truly impeccable service. The Chinese Restaurant is also superb — one of the best Chinese restaurants we've had, anywhere!

Este hotel está localizado e está a pé de tudo.A entrada é Muito bonita e as quartos têm frutas e cozinhas complementares. Infelizmente, EU estava mal, então EU não consegui apreciar o Qufu. Eu vou ter que voltar outra vez.

A wonderful and beautiful stay, especially the amazing staff at this hotel.

The hotel is only 10 minutes away from the gate of Confucius temple on foot. The traditional style and the statue of Confucius makes you feel like you are really here to visit this great philosopher’s city. The staff are friendly and they provide whatever you ask for. They gave us a book, a crad and a bookmaker as a gift. The breakfast was nice. The room was clean but yet could be cleaner. All in all, it works for visiting this historical city.

The location is awesome! Right next to Confucius Temple. The room was big and clean. The landlord offered a bottle of water, all necessary daily tools (such as toothbrush and etc), so service is similar to a hotel. The rooms are closed with electronic key and very quite. I recommend this place for solo and group travel. I don't know chinese, but it was not a problem, we managed to communicate with hand signs without problems )
