"This hotel is basic. No duvet in the room, apparently you have to request one. Nice welcome tea and some local snacks while waiting to check in but beware there are still mosquitoes around despite the cooler temperature. I got bitten twice whilst waiting to check in. I was put on the ground floor with a view of the car park which was disappointing given the incredible views on offer of Ella from the rooms higher up. They have a swimming pool from what I can tell is a bit cold! The omelette at breakfast was good and they found me some green tea when I asked for it. The buffet at dinner was ok and included slices of pizza. Staff were friendly and helpful. All in all I imagine this hotel offers great views but it is way too far out from the centre of Ella so if you plan to go into town in the evening you’re looking at paying around 5,000 rupees for a taxi to take you, wait there for you and bring you back. So unless you’re there for a specific reason I’d stay closer to all the shops and bars in town."

"This was the worse stay I ever had in my life. I ended up in Daria and puking. The kitchen was a mess and the food was really bad. Nobody should ever go to this place. And the place is not as in the picture. They charge a really high rate but they don’t even responsible for what they charge for. They don’t even change the bed covers or replace towels."

"A localização é ótima, as atividades são ótimas, há UMA piscina limpa, e as atividades aqui incluem um passeio para um ponto de vista, um parque de campismo, incluindo uma casa de árvores, um castelo de água. O trem leva cerca de 1.5 horas a 2hs para desfrutar de fotos e de tudo.O alimento é ótimo, há uma boa variedade de alimentos para jantar e pequeno-almoço.As quartos também estavam até um padrão e muito confortáveis. Um dia não basta para fazer todas as atividades.Eu e minha esposa gostámos Da nossa estadia."

"We stayed at Clio Ella Jungle Resort for 2 nights from 10th to 12th February, booking 3 rooms for our family getaway. First of all, I would like to give a special shout-out to Mr. Perera, who took great care of us during our stay. He was attentive, helpful, and very professional throughout. The rest of the ground staff were also very friendly and genuinely tried their best to assist us and apologize whenever issues arose. The location is absolutely fabulous, right next to the river, offering a peaceful jungle atmosphere. The food was delicious, and we truly enjoyed the meals during our stay. However, there were very disappointing experiences that must be mentioned. The most unacceptable incident was related to hygiene. On the first night, rats entered my sister’s room. One even came onto the bed in the middle of the night while they were sleeping. This was a shocking and extremely unpleasant situation. Sadly, on the following night, I experienced the same issue in my own room. There were rats running on the window curtains, and I had to call the housekeeping team in the middle of the night while my baby boy was sleeping. Both nights, we did not get proper sleep due to this unhygienic situation. This is something no guest should ever have to experience. While the ground staff tried very hard to handle the situation and sincerely apologized to us, I was quite surprised that the management did not take stronger action or responsibility regarding such a serious matter. I work closely with hotels on a daily basis and have stayed in many properties, but this was the first time I experienced rats running inside a guest room. It was very embarrassing for me, especially in front of my family, as I was the one who arranged this stay for them. I strongly believe the management should take urgent action to resolve this issue and ensure proper hygiene standards are maintained. Guests deserve a safe, clean, and comfortable environment."

"A nossa estadia no Misty Elegance, idealmente localizado a uma caminhada gorda da rua Ella Main, é pacifica, com vistas belas e quartos bonitos. Nada de Bh era demasiado problema, e dormimos como bebés, derrubando-se para o som da floresta tropical fora. Altamente recomenda ficar aqui se você estiver em Ella por alguns dias 😊"

"Ollie Resort is not a resort, and the photos available online, although authentic, do not show everything and do not reflect the reality of the place. The photos are taken at specific angles. Upon our arrival, we discovered a dirty and poorly maintained room, which is unacceptable. The gentleman at the reception does his best to manage everything, but it is clear that it is not his job. He doesn't speak English well, which makes communication even more difficult. Hotel not accessible by car. I recommend that you be wary of photos because they are misleading and do not show the real state of the premises or the surroundings. Ollie resort is not what we see in the photos. A great disappointment for a stay that does not correspond at all to expectations."
