i saw many positive reviews and was excited to see if it was reality... Simply put, its worth visiting Luoyang just to stay at May Fourth Youth Hostel. The level of cleanliness, amicability, overall positive yet low-key ambience should be the standard across the country. From the music choice in the lobby to the staff who run it, It's clear it has been designed and is run by people who really understand what it means to be a traveller and what makes a good hotel. The rooms are spacious (sometimes hostels can feel claustophobic - but not here), with beds having more space than typical, good quality pillow and duvets. Suited for both travellers from the east and west, there are seated and squat toilets, with a large array of showers. The washing machine is great (if they had a couple of good Dryers too that would be amazing), as well as the communal rooms with vending machines, pool table, and seating area (including the lovely quiet library space) The location is decent too, a spacious cultural park is nearby with the hostel itself tucked away from the main street, creating convinience but not crowds. The price is perfect! ideal for young people, students and solo travellers visiting on a budget. My friend decided to stay here two more days just because of the comfort and facilities. As both a foreigner and a woman, i felt safe and welcome here so i reccommend friends from abroad to come check this place out. Possibly the best youth hostel i've had the pleasure of staying in oh also the little cat is so cute !

Um albergue de juventude muito bom em Luoyang. A localização é super boa. Está perto dos locais panorâmicos de Yingtianmen e Tiantangmingtang. 第一次來洛陽玩，隨便找的全女青旅，沒想到超出預期。位置在十字街這邊，離玩的地方不算遠，打車也方便。房間很乾凈，床品摸着舒服，沒有奇怪的味道。每個床位都有簾子、小燈和充電口，晚上玩手機也不影響別人。公共區域很安靜，大家都很自覺，不會吵。衞生間每天都有人打掃，熱水很足。老闆人挺好，問路線都耐心説，不會過度熱情，很舒服。學生黨價格真的友好，下次來還住這兒。

Really sweet hostel (Clean, cosy and lovingly furnished), super friendly staff and good vibes! I stayed there sadly just for one night, but we were instant connected and in interesting talkings with the owner, staff and other guests on the sweet balcony - an oasis of plants, smooth light and cosy chairs in the middle of skyscrapers! My stay at Mo Wen Youth Hostel far exceeded my expectations – definitely a five-star review! The environment is superb; it's conveniently located, offering peace and quiet amidst a lively local area, making getting around incredibly easy. The facilities are excellent, with spacious and comfortable common areas, and incredibly soft and skin-friendly bedding in the rooms. Each bunk also thoughtfully includes an individual reading light, power outlets, and thick blackout curtains, ensuring both security and privacy. I particularly want to praise the cleanliness, which is paramount when staying at a hostel! There's an en-suite bathroom in the room, and the beds were spotless and odor-free – attention to detail truly shines through. The service was also delightful; the uncle at check-in patiently explained local food routes, and any requests were met with instant responses, making you feel like you're being looked after by a friend. What surprised me most was the atmosphere! The common area felt like a warm utopia where everyone gathered to chat late into the night and play games. There was no pressure to socialize, yet it was easy to meet interesting, like-minded people. Mo Wen truly feels like a home away from home that I didn't want to leave. I'll definitely be back next time!

Come to Nantai for a walk, see the cheap price to choose this one, really good, the front desk service is very good, very helpful, the room is very clean, the air conditioner is open enough, very atmospheric, the bathroom and laundry room are very clean, very quiet, there are many seats and entertainment facilities in the lobby, I often live in the Youth Hostel. This is really good value for money. I will stay in Nantaihang in the future.

Location is wonderful, close to everything but als slightly o away from center so you do not get the noises. In just a few steps you get to have fantastic foods at night market. The place is nice and cozy, also quiet at night. Host is helpful, friendly and definitely extrovert, they organize games and activities regularly to connect everyone together. Definitely will stay here again if chances come by.
