The location is great, just a 7-8 minute walk from subway exit F. It's located within a residential complex, with the front desk and accommodations in separate buildings. The accommodation itself seems to be in a former residential building. This hostel offers all the usual amenities, including a rooftop and kitchen. The room was decent, generally clean and tidy, though that can depend on your roommates. The shower and bathroom facilities were average but mostly clean (again, depending on roommates). The hallway even had some lantern decorations, adding a touch of Chinese flair. The air conditioning in the room was excellent; with the thick duvet, I had a wonderfully sound sleep. Perhaps it's off-season, as I didn't see many other guests during my stay, and the entire floor was very quiet. There's a 20 RMB deposit for the dorm room key card, which you need to swipe to enter the building unit and again to enter the room. The key card also activates the electricity. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were polite. I only stayed one night, but I'd consider coming back if I'm in the area!

I was prepared to tolerate some imperfections when staying in a hostel for just a few tens of yuan, but it completely exceeded my expectations. A hostel that manages to be clean and quiet has largely succeeded, and this one achieved both exceptionally well at such a low price point. If I weren't traveling with elderly family members later, I would have extended my stay without a second thought. The owner is incredibly smart and meticulously designed the public areas (leisure and dining), washroom facilities, and sleeping areas, ensuring different activities don't disturb each other. The beds were clean, and the charging sockets, lights, and small foldable tables were simple yet practical. The public area featured lockable luggage storage for each person and disinfected slippers to change into before entering the lounge. The washroom area had clean, odor-free sinks and showers, a whole row of washing machines and dryers, and even a cleverly designed drying area... My own dorm building wasn't even this thoughtfully arranged! The front desk staff were enthusiastic and meticulous, and complimentary disposable toiletries were available. I hope Muan can maintain these excellent qualities and continue to grow and expand. Such a great place should open branches all over the country!

This hotel offers great value for money. The environment is clean and the rooms are well-maintained. While the facilities aren't luxurious, they are complete and convenient to use. The location is excellent, with plenty of amenities nearby. The service is genuinely warm and welcoming, making it perfect for everyday stays.

I stayed in a dorm room for three days, and my overall experience exceeded my expectations. In the mornings, I'd walk downstairs to the cheong fun (rice noodle roll) shop for breakfast; their fresh shrimp cheong fun was wonderfully smooth and tender. It was just a few minutes' walk to Binjiangdong Road subway station, and I could get to Beijing Road and Yongqing Fang with just one transfer. Each bed in the room had its own curtain and charging port, so I had privacy when I drew the curtain. The communal laundry room was available 24/7, and it was super convenient to be able to wash and dry my clothes right away.

Second hostel of Desti’s chain that I’m staying. It’s becoming a reference for me in China. They offer all what the backpackers need. I just feel that everything is just at the right place. However the toilet of Guangzhou branch was not in its best. As same as the number which makes it more frequent used and I guess this is one of the reason of the smell. Another very important inconvenience at this hostel is the lack of stairs. Well, there are stairs but the locked door with is really hard to always wait to get the elevator. Also to have the stairs locked makes very dangerous when emergency happens.

I am deeply amazed on how comfy and good this hostel is. Located in Nantou Anicent town, so close to the entrance yet surrounded with unlimited shops, foods, museums, a bakery next door serving really unique cream bread, supporting local businesses. Upon stepping into my dorm room, I was greeted with a college like white blue vibe, decorated with art works from a girl, I love how it has its personal touch separating it from other hostel brands. It's one of a kind that is hard to find elsewhere. My favourite is the bed. It felt like home, so cozy yet so warm, blanket felt fleecy yet not too warm or cold. The pillow was chef kissed that I planned to buy when I get home, it had the shape of where the head should be laid inwards, while supporting the neck. The bed is so comfy firm yet not super soft and not too hard like brick. There is a ”stubborn” cabinet, a shelf to put your stuff on, 2 option of light: 1 to brighten the bed up and a nice warm night light. There is space for luggage under the bed, lockers comes with a lock and key which is such a good idea, so it's for sure a very safe locker. The metal net near the door is perfect for drying clothes with many hangers to use. They also gives a voucher sheet to use to support the local business nearby, can treat yourself with a hair cut or a massage. Bathroom. Sink area is so cute, shower room and toilet is together, feels a bit tight but still good. Near reception, you have free amenities to use. I wasn't very social enough so I didn't enter the other areas that has dining, laundry and the bar. Would recommend this place to other people and coming back when in Shenzhen.

The environment is beautiful, with an endless expanse of blue ocean right outside the window. The air is so fresh, and it really lifts your spirits! The room was clean, tidy, and cozy. Dining was convenient. After dinner, I hit the hotel gym, worked up a good sweat, and then came back to the room for a refreshing shower before falling into a deep, beautiful sleep!

We recently stayed here for two months for a business trip with about 10 people. It took my boss 2-3 days to find this hostel, and we were all really happy with it. It's quiet yet conveniently located. The common area is super comfortable, and the shower water pressure is great and relaxing. The owner even provided good quality shower gel, shampoo, and toilet paper. The washing machine and dryer were reasonably priced to use. Honestly, it felt just like staying in a mid-range hotel, and the cleanliness of the bedding even surpassed some! The owner was always accommodating and helpful. A big thank you to the owner for taking care of us for a whole month. I specifically wanted to leave this good review to commend them.

A hidden gem of a hostel! I stayed in Shenzhen while attending a concert in Hong Kong, and the staff here were all so thoughtful and provided excellent service. The location is super close to the subway, just across the street, and the environment is lovely and clean. What surprised me most was the incredible attention to detail—they even provide hair ties and shower caps in the showers, and cotton pads in the vanity area, and so much more! Other guests were also very considerate; everyone would quiet down and lower their voices once night fell. You girls are all angels!!!

The location is super convenient for getting around, with many attractions nearby. It's right by the Pearl River, Canton Customs House, and Shamian Island.
