This stay is the highlight of our Silk Road trip. Some reviewers mention dirt, well, that's to be expected for a location in the desert. It's the experience of staying overnight in the desert. Having the view without the crowds that make this hotel highly unusual and amazing for those of us who wanted the uniqueness of it. I would love to come back one day to see the stars as this time we stayed during full moon. Love it.

Wonderful place and wonderful family! The best accommodation we stayed in in China. Perfect position very close to the monastery. Very clean. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a snack of dried dates, bread, butter and tzampa, accompanied by some delicious tea. We stayed with this family for two days and they always offered us breakfast, the first day with house tea and fresh bread, the second day with coffee and fried bread. We spent the evening with them and they always kept offering us food and tea, always making us feel welcome. The house is wonderful, ******* style, wooden, always very clean. The beds are really comfortable, and they have a warming blanket. Inside our room we also had an electric heater to warm ourselves, which made the room really warm and cosy. The bathroom has hot water. You can fill your water bottles from the drinking water containers they have in front of each room. We always saw them cleaning the common areas. The owner, his wife and their three children welcomed us warmly like family. I will recommend them to all my friends. Really recommended!

This hostel is the best stay for my trip. Everything ais good. The hotel is decorated with woods, so mostly all are wooden made. Very classy & super clean. Very friendly & helpful stuff. Have free cleaning services. The hostel just in front of the old town which at night u can walk around. Also very near the Fu Si Miao about 15 min walks. There are plenty of restaurant just outside the hostel. Good taste and not expensive too. All the below are within walking distances

Absolutely loved this hotel! The staff is super charming and kind and helpful The location is in the newly developed ”old street” which is very charming. In the area there are many restaurants and some bars. Yet the hotel is very quiet. There is underground parking and a lift directly from parking to hotel floors. The room is very well designed and well equipped. I particularly loved the fact that although I arrived around midnight I was able to give my clothes for washing and they were ready when I woke up. They have a washing machine with a dryer function. And I really needed some laundry after two weeks of travel across South Korea. The 2pm check out was also quite amazing as I was super tired after my long journey day before

沙漠之旅的完美落腳點！帆船帳篷房空間足夠，重點是有乾淨便利的獨立衞浴，房間衞生保持得非常好。白天玩了超刺激的沙漠摩託車，超爽！酒店提供的免費停車場位置充裕。晚上活動安排得很充實，先是大家一起圍爐篝火，熱鬧又温暖，隨後有工作人員組織星空課堂，帶着我們尋找星座、講述銀河故事，在浩瀚星空下感受到了自然的震撼與工作人員的貼心，是一次無可挑剔的入住體驗！

辦入住的時候給升級了房型hhh大得可以在裏面翻幾個跟斗了哈哈 服務：超好👍🏻大家都很熱情、下午去第一趟就開小車車送我們到檢票口hhh不用自己盲找路了hhh，第二天我們大清早要去鳴沙山看日出老闆還早起開車送我們一程 衞生環境：很乾凈、用品都很齊全 地點離中門很近，走路的話15分鐘內就到檢票口了、路口對面就有個超市很方便 還有小🐱乖乖在門口迎客上班

O atendimento foi incrivelmente caloroso e acolhedor. Chegaram até a nos presentear com hadas (lenços tibetanos tradicionais) na chegada. Nos hospedamos durante a baixa temporada de inverno e éramos os únicos hóspedes, mas o serviço não deixou nada a desejar. O proprietário ligou o aquecimento no nosso quarto com antecedência e preparou iogurte de iaque fresco, lanches e muitas outras delícias. Eles realmente demonstraram cuidado e atenção. Inicialmente, tínhamos planejado jantar na cidade, mas acabamos jantando no hotel, que também estava muito bom. A propriedade inteira é enorme; recomendo muito se hospedar durante a alta temporada. Com certeza voltaremos.

I highly recommend Dunhuang Nashan Guesthouse. This heartwarming guesthouse truly enhanced our entire trip, making the whole experience perfect! The owner's service was incredibly warm and thoughtful, with attentive details present from before our arrival until our departure. We booked the airport transfer service in advance, and the driver was waiting punctually at the airport. The ride was smooth, and he patiently introduced us to local road conditions and travel tips along the way. He was very proactive in handling our luggage, so we didn't have to lift a finger. As soon as we entered the room, we saw a beautifully arranged welcome fruit platter. The fruits were fresh, plump, and fragrant, and this little surprise instantly melted away the fatigue of our long journey, making us feel incredibly warm and welcomed. The guesthouse provides daily breakfast with a diverse selection and authentic flavors. The ingredients were fresh and delicious – a perfect way to fuel up before a day of exploring. In the afternoon, they also prepared an exquisite afternoon tea, featuring refreshing drinks paired with special local pastries. Sitting in the courtyard, relaxing and chatting, was so pleasant and unwinding. All the staff members were enthusiastic and friendly, genuinely sincere and easygoing. They meticulously answered any questions we had and even proactively shared routes for visiting Mingsha Mountain and recommended local food spots. Every aspect was considered thoroughly. Our room was spotlessly clean, warmly decorated, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, making our stay exceptionally pleasant. Throughout our entire stay, everything from the airport transfers, fruit, breakfast, and afternoon tea was thoughtfully provided, and the service was impeccable. The owner perfected every detail, being warm yet professional, making us feel as comfortable as if we were at home. The environment, amenities, and service all far exceeded our expectations, offering excellent value for money. If you're traveling to Dunhuang, choosing this guesthouse is definitely the right decision. I've already recommended it to my friends, and I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!

Amazing, the hosts/staff were so friendly and helpful. From giving great advise on what time to visit different areas of the canyons to avoid crowds, driving you to scenic areas too far to walk and even dropping me off at the railway station at midnight when I couldn’t get a taxi. Just fantastic! Room was comfortable and great size, amazing showers, super peaceful and mostly importantly amazing views of the canyon (including lights being projected onto the canyon at night). I definitely recommend for a great experience!

O melhor hotel em que já fiquei na minha viagem. A família me fez sentir muito bem-vinda. O quarto era muito confortável e silencioso. Muita água quente. A comida era ótima. Eles me deram uma bicicleta para pedalar até os campos e lavaram minhas roupas de graça! Também me deixaram na rodoviária. Tão gentis e simpáticos. E o dono fala inglês perfeitamente.
