Hotéis Homestays em Hakone

Given the recent weather conditions (typhoon hagibis and lots of rain), we weren't sure if it was going to be worth making the 4 hour trip to Hakone (the trainline from Hakone Yumoto station was down so replacement bus services were in place). We arrived at the guesthouse having already pre-booked the dinner round the firepit and I'm glad we did. We took our own booze, sat around the firepit with some of the other guests and cooked fish and veg over the fire. For dessert we toasted marshmallows. The guesthouse was really nice and clean, well designed and the staff were friendly. The next morning we went for a walk in Hakone but the weather was quite bad, we just headed to an onsen near Hakone Yumoto station. The visit to the guesthouse and dinner made the trip worthwhile.

K's House provides fantastic Japanese style room and the reception can speak very good English. Although the room does not have bathroom by itself, it is still very convenient to use the common one. All the common facilities including the bathrooms, washrooms, kitchen, common room are maintained in very good condition and clean. Location is also very convenient. It is just a few bus stop from Hakone station.

I was in mid-November for 2 nights in Azito. The location is good and the price was cheap (3500 yen or € 24 per night at the time). The people at the reception were very nice and took time to answer all my questions. The English of the Japanese was here was with the best I've experienced in Japan. The rooms themselves are as mentioned wooden boxes in trapez form. Content of the box is a double bed mattress that was very soft, 4 kits and a thick ceiling. There was also a stick (with 2 USB-A outputs) and 2 clothing sticks, 1 light switch and 1 ventilation switch. For one person more than enough. There is, of course, too far it becomes coughing. In total, however, much more space than in other Japanese hostels. The locker was in the front and also here very spacious. 2 hand bags and backpacks fit in here. The showers and toilets were clean and in order. At the reception you can borrow a towel (100 yen), a towel (for hands) you get for free. Wi-Fi was also in order and I had no problem during my stay. Breakfast could be bought in FamilyMart around the corner. I did not cook, so I can say to the kitchen nix. I didn't try the bar itself. I found the prices also a little expensive, as you could find something better in the village. Maybe you give guests a free drink or a coupon, then it would be better visited ;) The only negative was that the wooden box was a little bright, or I had a very noisy room neighbor. P.S. The last 200 meters are Something steals who had a bag should perhaps take the bus to the hostel.

The hotel is located in Sengokuhara, Mt. Hakone. Located on a mountain road, the brand sign is not obvious. It is dark and the street lights are weak and you can't even see the hotel's sign! I can’t even see the hotel when I reach my destination via navigation! It took me two trips to find it. The South Building is easier to find, but the North Building is really hard to find. After finding the sign for the North Building, you have to turn into an alley and then up a small slope to find it. Because we stayed for two nights in a row, there was a problem with the hotel's check-in tablet, and the staff spoke Chinese, English, and Japanese. The parking space of the North Building is not in front of the door. We need to take a detour and walk up the mountain. It is dark and there is no car light to pedestrian. They insist on asking us to park the car in this parking lot 15 minutes away. It is too dark and too dangerous. I request We parked in the unloading area for one night and didn't find a parking lot until the next day. We felt that it was dangerous to our safety. Unless it was in broad daylight, there was a lot of noise. For about two hours, the hotel staff did not allow us to park and called twice. Went to the room to find us, the trails they provided were even more impossible to walk at night. The next day we took a day trip, which was also dangerous. After walking for a while, we encountered a deer, which put us in a dilemma. Very angry about the parking issue. Other than that, the hotel room was ideal. The equipment is complete, but the on-site environment is a bit far from the photos. It was a self-check-in/self-check-out system without the presence of staff. Nothing could be done with the reservation number (11 digits) sent by Trip.com, and the hotel said that a registration link was sent by email in advance, and guests received a QR code and a 6-digit reservation number that could be registered in the hotel system through prior input/registration. I'm assuming you're checking in. The hotel said they sent a link via Expedia message, but I didn't receive an email directly from Trip.com, and I didn't receive anything other than the 11-digit reservation number from Trip.com.

Real hot springs, as they are. Another hospitality provided by the owner, who has lived in the area for many years. Soak in a good quality hot spring and sleep well. A stay that makes you think it's the best. This is a place that can teach you the depth of the meaning of hospitality. It may not be as polished or extravagant as other hotels, but it carries the heart of the owner who was raised in this land, along with a real hot spring. Enjoy casual conversations and a wonderful sleep. It creates beautiful memories of Japan just as they are.

The apartment is located about 10 minutes walk from Hakone Yumoto station. Check in instructions was easy. The rooms were big and comfortable. Kitchen was a useful size, only thing is the ports and pans were slightly dirty.

房間是在一棟白色的小房子的一樓，樓上還有一層租給了其他租客。離湯本站非常近，第一次來箱根很推薦住這裏。裏面算是應有盡有了，廚房、帶烘乾功能的洗衣機對於帶孩子的旅客來説很方便，早上終於可以熱一下牛奶了。附近湯本站周圍吃飯的店也很多。
