We were part of a group of six friends who traveled from Shanghai for a long weekend exploring Huangshan. And the hostel was an absolute gem that made the weekend perfect!! The owner was very communicative prior to our arrival, and arranged for a van to pick us all up from Huangshan Bei train station to the hostel. Nestled in a cute valley around a 10 minute drive from the entrance to Huangshan, we loved the clean, modern, and relaxing vibe of the hostel. We had amazing hosts, who prepared delicious breakfasts, lunch, and dinner! They also gave great hiking recommendations both for Huangshan and for the surrounding area. 100% would recommend for others.

The boss and his wife were very nice. They picked us up and dropped us all the way up and down the mountain. The food they cooked was very delicious, including the chicken soup and the smelly mandarin fish. When we came back from the mountain, the children played in the hot spring for an hour. They were very happy. The mirror in the room was like a It would be nice to have one more person outside, so you don't have to be next to each other to wipe your face and wash your hands. I was so tired when I came back from the mountain that I forgot to take pictures.

Our room was upgraded and it was beautifully designed and clean. A warm bath was a very good treat after a hike down the mountains. Both dinner and breakfast were simple “家常” dishes but really delicious. Loved our short stay!

An amazing experience at an incredible location! Shuguangli Villa is located just 10 minutes from the Houzi Guanhai scenic viewpoint and is a peaceful retreat from the, at times, massive crowds that come to visit Huangshan. The hotel property is wonderfully landscaped, and the bungalows feel secluded with their own porches and gardens. While the exterior appears rustic, each room is well equipped with amenities and is quite modern. We especially appreciated the foot massager after a long day of hiking. The staff are also superb. We were received warmly and were well-attended to throughout our stay. Our dinner and breakfast were also excellent, showcasing local Anhui dishes and ingredients. It’s additionally special considering how difficult it is to get things up the mountain peak. Honestly can’t wait to come back!

I will definitely stay here next time I have a chance to come to Huangshan.

Drink tea and watch the lotus, because the only open space at the entrance is to put the table and chaise longue that have been exposed to the wind and sun for a long time. If the chairs are forced to be placed, they can only be placed at the entrance next door. The room is actually a bit shrunk in the corner of the hotel. He Chengkan’s recent experience is that he is woken up by the bell every morning. There is an indescribable smell when entering the room. Considering the structure of the old wooden house beside the water, I don’t think it is necessary to delve into it. . The overall layout of the room is acceptable, but apart from the reclining chair at the door and the two futons in front of the tea table that would cause numbness in the legs after sitting for a long time, there is nowhere to put your feet in the room for a while, and the suitcase can only be placed in the open space in the center of the room. You can see oil stains like dripping wax on the bottom of the bathtub. The door of the shower room is too smooth. I always have to open half of the door when I wash half of it. I don’t know if I didn’t find it or really didn’t. In the past, they were diligently getting out of bed and shutting down one by one. The breakfast provided is the same for several days, siu mai, white porridge, lotus root, a pasta pastry, marinated eggs, two bowls of side dishes plus a section of corn, and a bowl of wontons to make you feel full. The outdoor seat at the entrance of the restaurant is not easy to try in the hot summer. I try to order a few meals for lunch and dinner. What I can't forget is the various soups, which are really rare. Although it seems to be complaining, the overall feeling is not bad. After all, this atmosphere is more suitable for slow-paced, simple and simple configuration. I gave Chengkan tickets and a jar of chrysanthemums as a gift. The only thing I regret here is that the location is a bit remote, and it’s inconvenient to shop for meals. When I arrived on the first day, I didn’t want to eat on the high-speed rail, so I planned to eat at the restaurant when I arrived. As a result, the restaurant was closed. Although noodles and dumplings were kindly provided, there was no second choice. I even ran outside to the farmhouses and restaurants in the scenic area, but they were all closed. At this time, I wanted to buy some snacks to satisfy my hunger, but found that there was only a small supermarket opposite to buy some cigarettes and drinking water. There was really nowhere to go, not to mention that my girlfriend was not feeling well the next day. 100 kilometers to Liyang in Lane to buy. All in all, the scenery is pleasant, the supporting facilities are limited, the service is warm, and the location is remote. It is suitable for those who come to Chengkan for a stroll and stay for a short time, or those who simply change their mood and environment.

The homestay is quaint and artistic and exquisitely decorated. There is a coffee bar on the first floor, a western restaurant, and even an elevator. The experience is very good, and the service is very enthusiastic. It is really suitable for visiting the old street.

Very nice stay! The hotel’s location is good—very close to the bus station. We didn’t have to walk much the morning we were going to hike, as the bus station was nearby. There are restaurants and supermarkets around. The room was clean, and the staff were so friendly and helpful; they helped us arrange car pools whenever we needed. The breakfast was also perfect.

The transportation is convenient. It takes only a few minutes to get off the highway. It is also close to the Zhaixi transfer point. The store is free to pick up and drop off. The decoration of the room is exquisite, clean and hygienic, the mattress is moderately firm, comfortable to sleep, and it is a bit away from the main road, so that it is quiet and not noisy at night. I added the shopkeeper WeChat before moving in, and solved many questions patiently and meticulously. When I arrived, I explained the route in detail against the map, and it was correct to play according to the shopkeeper's suggestion. The shopkeeper provides raincoats, which can be refunded as long as they are useless, and there are exquisite small gifts when leaving the store, which is quite warm. Huangshan is indeed a scenic spot worth visiting again, next time I go to live in Qinxin Mingxiang.
