Very clean and modern Hotel, nice rooftop pool. The only thing I would complain about is the coffee at the breakfast. The taste is very watery and not strong as it should be. Also the cinnamon roll I bought from the restaurant was not fresh.

It was okay I guess, despite the lack of exterior windows and bad carpet smell. I came here because there was more space in the rooms compared to competing, similarly priced hotels in Puerto Princesa, and a desk to work at. If you haven't researched the location, the hotel is very close to the airport and minor city attractions such as museums and cathedrals, but far from natural attractions such as wildlife conservations and clean beaches. And really, the latter is the main reason most people travel to Palawan. The buffet breakfast may have been adequate for the non-vegan, but that didn't include me.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax. Everything felt well maintained and thoughtfully arranged. The highlight of the property is definitely the pool and the customer service . The infinity pool overlooking the water and surrounding landscape was absolutely stunning — a perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery. It truly felt like a luxury experience. The location was also very convenient, close to shops, restaurants, and other attractions, making it easy to explore the area. The food was very good, with a great selection and quality, and the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Their hospitality made the experience even better. Overall, a fantastic stay with beautiful views, great amenities, and excellent service. I would happily return!

The hotel was nice and clean, but unfortunately the receptionist that welcomed us doesn't speak good English, and it was difficult to communicate. The second disappointing aspect was about the pick-up at the airport. It seemed included in the price ( that's why I booked with them), but at the very end they told me that it was until 17, and we arrived at 18, so they asked for 3000 RMB. That could be okay, if the hotel would be very far from the airport, but once there we realized that it was 5 minutes. The price they asked for was far too high.

From check-in to check-out, the staff provided excellent customer service — always warm, attentive, and eager to help with a smile. They truly made me feel welcome and valued throughout my stay. The room was immaculate, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was soft and cozy, the linens fresh, and everything—from the bathroom to the minibar—was spotless. I also appreciated how quiet and relaxing the atmosphere was, perfect for unwinding after exploring the beautiful sights of Palawan. One of the highlights of my stay was the morning breakfast buffet. It offered a great variety of local and international dishes, all freshly prepared and delicious. From tropical fruits and made-to-order eggs to Filipino favorites and good coffee, it was the perfect way to start each day. The dining staff were equally wonderful—friendly, efficient, and attentive. Considering the high level of comfort, cleanliness, and service, the affordability of this hotel is truly impressive. You get a 5-star experience at a very reasonable price, making it one of the best values in Puerto Princesa. I highly recommend Best Western Plus The Ivy Wall Hotel to anyone visiting Palawan. Whether for business or leisure, it’s the perfect mix of luxury, convenience, and Filipino hospitality. I’ll definitely stay here again!

Great hotel for an overnight stop before arriving at/ leaving from Puerto Princesa Airport! Friendly staff, clean rooms and simple breakfast. Near some nice restaurants and cafes for dinner or coffee.

A hidden paradise!  Located in a kinda secluded and very peaceful brgy, this beautiful work of art resort saved us from being grumpy after getting stuck in the middle of typhoon. Staff and their service was above and beyond. With their warm smile and accommodating nature, we couldn’t be happier.  We thought they’re the best part addition to this place!  Facility - top tier! Every thing was well thought, from the details to your needs, name it and its there.  Food was good and every day they offer different breakfast selections and wow! Delish!  Pool bar is a great touch too and the cocktails esp the sangria was delicious!  We’re travellers and this is the first time we fell inlove with a resort. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back next year with our family! Thank you so so much Carpe Diem! You made our vacation very very special and unforgettable!

Ficamos neste resort em fevereiro com nossa família e o recomendamos muito. O local é lindo, com uma paisagem natural deslumbrante que permanece bastante selvagem, proporcionando o cenário perfeito para uma propriedade que inclui um hotel, vilas e acomodações de glamping. Ficamos no hotel, mas também recomendamos as vilas, que foram ocupadas por nossos amigos — elas estão aninhadas em uma área verde exuberante e são muito bem cuidadas. Há uma pequena piscina disponível para os hóspedes, localizada na área de glamping. O resort também oferece massagens relaxantes e a oportunidade de reservar excursões. O restaurante oferece um cardápio limitado, mas os pratos são bem preparados, e a pizza, em particular, atende aos altos padrões italianos. A única pequena sugestão que faríamos é melhorar um pouco a seleção do café da manhã. A equipe é incrivelmente gentil, sempre prestativa e sempre acolhedora, com sorrisos calorosos. Um agradecimento especial ao Gerente Geral, que sempre esteve presente e atento às necessidades dos hóspedes.

A equipe foi muito simpática e acolhedora, o quarto era muito limpo, confortável e toalhas e roupas de cama pareciam e cheiravam limpas. Havia muitas opções de atividades recreativas e gostamos muito da nossa estadia. Além disso, a comida era deliciosa, a comida pedida à la carte vinha em boas porções. Nós apreciamos completamente a piscina do restaurante. Definitivamente visitaremos novamente em nossa próxima viagem a Palawan, faremos questão de convidar parentes!

O hotel é muito bom, com piscina, palmeiras, corredores limpos e funcionários simpáticos. A localização é um pouco afastada e você precisará pegar um triciclo para ir à cidade, pois a caminhada pode ser longa, mas isso não é um grande problema, pois custa apenas cerca de 50 pesos. Se você for tomar café da manhã aqui, tome cuidado, pois a comida não está morna/quente, o que me leva a crer que eles preparam o café da manhã cedo e deixam descansar um pouco, ou preparam no dia anterior. O quarto de casal é bem pequeno, mas não deve ser um problema se você só quer dormir. Mas eu definitivamente investiria mais dinheiro em um quarto com banheiro privativo em vez de optar por banheiros compartilhados. Bom custo-benefício e ainda assim recomendo.
