My overall experience was very good. I booked ROK due to my family staying there, and I wanted to be with them. We travelled to Jamaica for family bereavement, so we wanted as little hassle as possible. Staff at reception were approachable, friendly, welcoming, and professional. The general look was aesthetically pleasing; I loved the decor throughout. Entry was spacious and clean. I stayed on the 7th floor, which was clean, and has a communal ice machine. The room was a bit smaller than I would have liked, but fully functional, there is a fridge and coffee machine; I would have liked a kettle due to preferring to hear my water boil! We slept well for the most part. My only issue was noise in the morning, I could hear the housekeeping staff chit chatting amongst themselves as they carried out their duties. Doors banging, etc. Due to time differences, I woke up at 4 am. I guess this made me sensitive to the surroundings. The bar is excellent, located outside by the pool, and a breath of fresh air. We spent most evenings by the bar enjoying a cocktail or 2, plenty seating, and staff are accommodating. I must commend the toilets in the communal areas... fresh fresh fresh, they use a beautiful smelling air freshener; I was impressed by how well maintained the were. I didn't have breakfast because I generally eat later in the day. However, my family thought choices were repetitive after a few days. Bar food was fresh and delightful. There are a couple of places to eat outside the hotel. However, I would not recommend them due to extensively delayed waiting times. Just eat at the hotel or find elsewhere. Overall, I would recommend the ROK, and I would definitely stay again.

The hospitality is great from the reception to the bellman. The evening bellman Craig is very helpful and super pleasant with a wonderful smile. The rooms are nice but could do some updating. They have everything you need and if it doesn’t ask for it. The breakfast was continental and a mix of Jamaican. The service in the breakfast dining area needs some improvement. Very lack luster they could improve on that. Nobody was really attentive it’s just sit down figure it out. The attendants are more concerned with older dinosaur men or persons in business attire who they probably think will tip them. Everyone deserves good service regardless. Some improvement should go in that area. The food overall is good. I enjoyed my stay overall and they made me feel special as a guest.

O serviço Ao cliente era amigável e profissional e Muito útil, o quarto era confortável e relativamente limpo, MAS o chão e o tapete não estavam desgastados ou vazios, as folhas e as mantas cheiraram Como lixo, MAS pareciam limpas. O restaurante era bom para o pequeno-almoço que era UMA mistura de pequeno-almoço de estilo jamaicano e americano. Eu não aproveitei a piscina ou o ginásio para não poder dar uma classificação, MAS no geral, era um hotel de prazer. Eu reservaria este hotel novamente.

My Experience @ The Hotel was Excellent, The staff was courteous, kind, very willing to help with whatever you ask of. Everything was good. I love to stay.. And I will recommend it to anyone.

The room and location were excellent. The food and service were amazing

Localizado em uma área segura, na parte nova de Kingston, o quarto era confortável, o café da manhã era excelente e a equipe era simpática e acolhedora. Não há muito o que fazer na região. É um bom lugar para dirigir, com estacionamento disponível, mas é um pouco inconveniente sem carro.
