Na tarifa Basic (disponível apenas para voos internacionais), apenas um item pessoal (bolsa ou mochila) de até 10 kg pode ser levado gratuitamente. Nas demais tarifas, a companhia também inclui 1 mala pequena de até 12 kg, além do artigo pessoal.
Para ser aceita na cabine, a mala de bordo deve seguir estas regras:
- Tamanho máximo: 55 × 35 × 25 cm (incluindo rodas e alças)
- Peso máximo: até 12 kg
- Armazenamento: compartimento superior da cabine

A bagagem despachada da GOL Linhas Aéreas é transportada no porão da aeronave e normalmente é usada para malas maiores ou viagens mais longas. Dependendo da tarifa, ela pode estar incluída ou precisar ser comprada separadamente.

Was thrilled to see the blue sky upon arrival.
Road was blocked with enhanced security because of Shakira - Todo Mundo No Rio.
The hotel staffs were very helpful and approached us immediately with the luggages and deposited at the storage area upon our arrival.
The staffs were well trained and organised with good services.
Excellent location to Copacabana Beach with towels and umbrella provided.
The room with a view with vibrant energy at Copacabana beach.
The weather was rainy and cloudy the following day but could still spot quite a number of people running on the street.

The Location is just next to Cinelandia and Lapa in the City Center. The service at the reception was not so good.. You had to wait untii 3 p.m and you could deposit your baggage only upon paying! A decent, budget-friendly hotel in a central location, making it easy to get around on foot. It's not in a particularly attractive area, but it's perfectly adequate for a short stay and an overnight stay.
Breakfast was good; I recommend going early, as it gets quite crowded after 10:30 and can be uncomfortable.
The staff was average and polite. There was no shampoo in the room.

The hotel is very close to the beach. The room is large. The bathroom water is big and hot. The service is very good. To see that you have luggage, the staff will run over to help you get it. The room has lovely views to the beach the staff are very pleasant.
I only had one problem with the nutritionist called Juliana that responded to an email I sent to her explaining about my son’s anaphylactic shock to dairy and unfortunately when we got their to the hotel it was her day off but she had no one ready to cater for my son first they offered him an apple and boiled egg and as soon as I spoke to the manager they made him pancakes scrambled eggs gave him biscuits.
It was a shame that Juliana did not do her job properly causing me and my partner stress on our first day at the hotel.
But next day they where ready for him and he also had a lovely breakfast just hope that Juliana learns how important it is to get ready for costumers that have severe allergies and treats them with more respected.
Apart from this incident everything else was spot on I also called their 24 hr service and order my son some pasta to take to our travel back home and everything was perfect.DeSAR 758

The hotel is located on the main street, a 5-7 minute walk to the beach. There's a currency exchange office nearby with a good rate, but it's closed on weekends and closes at 6:00 PM. Breakfasts are delicious, security is on hand, and it's very safe. We left documents and other savings in the safe, and nothing was lost. During holidays, the hotel tightens security and access control. There's a pool and a terrace with a bar with a stunning view. To be honest, the impression of the hotel is twofold. On the one hand, it is an exclusive hotel, on the other hand, there were so many people that I did not feel exclusivity. You can't push through the pool. For some reason, in order to get to the pool and the beautiful view, you need to ask the hostess (who, of course, ask with a menacing look if you have a reservation and that there are no places) and you stand behind a red rope that blocks your way. I was not very pleased with this. Perhaps this excludes a super big crush, but the effect itself that they are blocking my way for my money is not pleasant.
A very interesting mattress, more like a feather bed. Soft, comfortable. The room is very, very dark - I did not like this either.
It is very interesting that at breakfast nowhere is it offered (no picture/message, the waiters do not say) that you can order waffles, avocado toast, or something else. Why is this kept a secret? Why should I, upon accidentally seeing waffles on another table, ask: where can I find waffles?.. I don’t understand.DeSAR 1.633

I booked JW Marriott Copacabana because, surprisingly, the price wasn’t much higher than nearby 3–4 star hotels. The location is truly premium, right on Copacabana Beach and the rooftop overlooks the entire beach, which is a huge plus.
My room faced the inside of the building, so I had to keep the curtains closed the whole time for privacy, which made the room quite dark. That said, the room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable.
Staff were generally nice, but everything felt quite slow check-in, check-out, room service requests, and even housekeeping. Breakfast was good in quality but exactly the same every day. Getting a table in the morning was also frustratingly slow; at one point around 10 people were waiting, and it took about 10 minutes just to be seated.
The rooftop views are amazing, but the design is honestly very awkward and outdated. The pool is at the back with almost no view, when it could easily have been a stunning infinity pool. The bar area felt cheap, and the thick glass panels and wide columns made it hard to enjoy the view or take good photos. The whole rooftop design felt very old-fashioned.
Overall, the hotel feels stuck in time. It’s a bit sad, because with such an incredible location, a modern renovation could easily make this one of the best hotels in the world. For the price I paid, I was still satisfied, but it definitely didn’t feel like a true luxury experience.DeSAR 1.558

Disappointed. I had already been to the hotel once before, but this time it was quite disappointing. Bad service at the pool, very inattentive staff, slow service. At the reception also another pity, very unprepared, lack of education and pride. There was a case where the hotel even apologized to our guests, and it was quite embarrassing. It is not worth the price it charges, nor does it reflect the Fasano brand that is stamped on the facade. This hotel is a great stay in Barra.
Like a lot of hotels in Rio, this one is old. The place has some relics of the last century: the phone is old, the furniture is old, etc. However, it makes up for it in other ways.
The service is excellent at this property. The breakfast is very good, the room service is great and cheap, and all of the staff from doormen to bellhops to reception are attentive and professional. The breakfast attendants are more professional than most local waiters. You will get excellent service here.
The hotel is also very pretty despite its age. The hallways and lobby are large, and it looks premium. The location is incredible if you like Barra. We only stayed one night, but we had a decent side view of the ocean from our room, and we easily had enough time for a nice walk on the beach before check-out.

The hotel's biggest advantage is its location; it's right next to Copacabana Beach, and the rooms offer direct views of the sand. It's incredibly convenient for strolling the beach and enjoying the sea views—just a short walk to the sand and waves. The rooms were clean and tidy, making for a comfortable stay. The front desk and concierge service were exceptionally attentive, proactively helping with luggage and pressing elevator buttons, providing excellent care throughout. The top floor offers a fantastic panoramic view of the beach, but unfortunately, it opened too late in the morning, so I missed capturing the sunrise, which was a slight disappointment.
However, the hotel's shortcomings are also quite noticeable. The facilities are generally outdated. The elevators are not only old but also have limited capacity, resulting in long waits during peak hours. The rooms only have simple sheets, without blankets, which can be a bit chilly at night. The most inconvenient aspect is the lack of essential toiletries; there are no slippers, toothbrushes, or a kettle, and even complimentary bottled water isn't provided—you have to bring your own or buy it. The breakfast was average, without many surprises, and the pool was rather small. However, the nearby expansive beach completely compensates for this, making swimming more enjoyable.
Overall, it's suitable for travelers who prioritize beach location and service and aren't too concerned about the age of facilities. The core experience is still largely made up for by the beach and attentive service.DeSAR 390

The superior room is solid, ours was quiet, decent size, shower was hot and plenty of water, and the room was very clean. (Avoid the standard rooms - very tiny). The location is excellent, but then the same is true for pretty much every Hotel on the beach/ Av Atlantica. If you stay here, get a room with an ocean view. Otherwise don't bother. The hotel lacks character, the restaurant has no view, the facilities are clearly under-dimensioned for the number of guests (if you go down for breakfast at 8am, even 7:45am, there will be a wait for a table, they even have a message on the elevator), the pool area is oversold in the pictures. There are a total of 6 tables in the pool area and 4 loungers. You can never find a place to sit, unless you get there very early. They also ”nickel-and-dime” you, expresso coffee is extra, beach chairs and umbrella are not included in your stay and we were charged for minibar items every though we replaced them. Really lovely hotel in a nice part of Rio. Staff are really friendly and helpful, especially as I speak English and everyone else is speaking Portuguese. The room was lovely and clean and the cleaners came here everyday to freshen up the room, put fresh towels in the bathroom and change the sheets. The pool was lovely and very quiet which made the experience much better. I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel very much but the one day that I did, there was a good variety of food. The room lacked basic amenities — no duvet or blanket, broken toilet, no hot water, and a phone that didn’t work. The WiFi and TV barely functioned, the ceiling was under construction, and the room had no view with a window that opened only a sliver. The door also locked itself and the key card stopped working.

I stayed at this hotel during Carnival. It was incredibly crowded, and checking in took forever. There was a lot of security. On the one hand, this is a plus, because the city isn't exactly the safest. On the other hand, security was constantly stopping me if I didn't see my hotel bracelet. The breakfast was one of the best (especially considering that South America doesn't have a good breakfast culture. It's usually a big bagel and fruit at other hotels). The main drawback: the elevators weren't working. There are probably 5 or 6 elevators in the hotel. Occasionally, only 2 elevators were working for the entire hotel! It was such a shame!
