Quando voltei ao meu quarto depois de percorrer o trilho Kumano Kodo, encontrei-o muito limpo e os tatames eram incrivelmente confortáveis. "Great location of the hotel. The bus station was near, also Lawson and Family Mart were near. The hotel is quite old, but it didn’t bother me at all. It was quite clean and the room was very spacious. The view was incredible! The onsen was very good, especially the one on the second floor. You can lie in the hot water and admire the ocean. And sleeping on tatami is the best. If you are not a fan of sleeping on tatami and a hard pillow, you should choose a Western-style room."

"The location is not the most central, but it is right next to Wakayama Castle, which is a big plus. In the evening, it’s very pleasant to take a walk around the castle area — quiet, scenic, and relaxing. There are bus stops nearby, making it fairly convenient to get around, though buses do not run very frequently. It’s best to check the schedule on Google Maps in advance. On the ground floor, there is a 24-hour FamilyMart, which is very convenient. There is also a McDonald’s (closes at 8pm) and a few nearby restaurants, so food is not really a concern. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Check-out was quick and hassle-free. Overall, for the price I paid, this hotel exceeded my expectations. I would recommend it to travellers who don’t mind a quieter area and enjoy being close to Wakayama Castle."

"A clean and relatively modern hotel sitting on top of a hill with a spectacular view of the harbour. There is an indoor/outdoor onsen on the ground floor and free alcohol and snacks from 3 to 5 pm every afternoon! Great value for money, and a great place to relax and ease back into civilisation if you’ve just come out of the mountains after doing the Kumano Kodo."

"Stay here bcoz of the famous cave onsen overlooking the sea, and wow it's truly one of a kind onsen experience. Altho it's quite far out, using Kansai Wide Pass makes it possible for foreign tourists, also the complimentary shuttle boat. Dinner and bfast buffet is amazing, easily one of the best in any hotels in Japan? With so much variety, alcohol included, and too bad I dont drink. Highly recommended for onsen lovers."
