Very good, the environment on the island is very good, the hotel has someone cleaning every day, the bathroom is relatively large, and there is a hair dryer. The hotel facilities are very complete, the breakfast is also very delicious, I will go again next time

1. The hotel is in a great location, you can walk to the pier and the station, and you can also walk to most of the attractions in the town
2. The hotel has a rich variety of breakfast
3. The room is clean and tidy, and the sea is beautiful when you look out the window
4. The front desk staff is very warm and friendly
5. Please note that the hotel does not have air conditioning, only a small fan, and there is no laundry room

We had such an amazing experience staying at Hotell Slottsbacken. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room, although a little cosy, had all the amenities and the bed was very comfortable. We had a view of the sea behind the trees. Everything was clean. The breakfast was amazing with vegan and gluten-free options available. We would love to return again in the future and definitely recommend it to others looking for a hotel in Visby!

No lift/ elevator!
The rooms are pretty nice but dusty on the tables & side bed tables, didnt clean.. the toilet floods as well.. the instructions should have put photos so guest checking in after hours can get a better look at the streets at night because there wasnt any lights in the alleys.
It was a very nice stay as its very near the city center! Highly recommend, breakfast selections were very good too

The room is relatively new, the location is a little bit off, two kilometers to the center of the old city. Parking is convenient around, and driving to the old city is okay. It's a bit of a hassle to walk. Very close to the pier.

However, there were some spiders in the room and the footsteps on the upper floor (probably the front desk) were heard before 6 am because it was an underground room, so I think it is a good inn for those who don't care. It is possible to leave your luggage after check-out, but it will be placed in a keyless location at the front desk where the staff is not always there, but the security is not bad until this point.
