The whole trip was not very satisfying. First, the seaplane time I requested is at noon on the 22nd, so that I can have a half-day tour of Male. As a result, I was arranged for an early morning seaplane. The hotel said that because the time of the seaplane is not under their control, and the time of the next day's seaplane will only be known after 6pm before 1 day .Second, I don’t know whether the lock of my luggage was broken by the seaplane staff or the resort staff. Anyway, the lock on my luggage was completely missing between the seaplane and check in the resort. Third. neither the birthday room decorations nor the cake that was promised to me was delivered. I was sick that day, so I didn't remind or ask, but I think the hotel completely forgot, which is a big mistake. Fourth, I told that I am sick and uncomfortable, can I ask for some hot soup for breakfast? The front desk said that there is no way, you only can eat whatever the kitchen prepares, which I can understand, But the front desk didn't even have a word of concern and greeting! I feel so indifferent! I was very happy to choose you as my first vacation after the covid ,but now I feel that this is a complete mistake.

The resort is new and beautiful located on its own private Island. It is unfortunate that you need to fly into Male, take a second flight and then a boat to the resort. You can only book the flight and boat through the resort and not directly from the airline so there is a premium price to pay. The ”lounge” at Male airport is the public area of the food court where you can select one option from a limited menu most of which you are told they do not have any of. The resort itself is very beautiful offering a 24hr bar and snack service as well as a buffet restaurant and two additional restaurants (Italian and Steakhouse) for which you need to make a reservation. During our 8 nights, we tried daily to make a reservation at the steak restaurant which does not have fixed opening days and depends on guest occupancy so sadly we were not able to enjoy this experience as many other guests who also experienced the same. We were able to make a reservation at the Italian restaurant once during our stay which meant we had no choice but to eat at the buffet restaurant where the dishes did not change much on a daily basis for the duration, it got old by the end of our trip and we couldn't wait to get to the mainland for some other types of food. The staff is all very nice and friendly and there are daily activities organized by them or many areas of beach for peace and quiet as well as a swimming pool with a swim-up bar and plenty of loungers. Overall it was a good experience it's just a shame there is not more choices or chances to try the other restaurants and food.

I booked a water bungalow with a jacuzzi for three days. First of all, the area of the house is not too large. If you have a jacuzzi, you need to walk a long way. It is about four minutes away from the beach on the sea, and about ten minutes from the front desk by a battery car. For lunch, I have to go to a restaurant near the front desk to eat, so the journey time is at least 15 minutes. The environment is good. The sea under the water house is beautiful, but it is not suitable for snorkeling because there is nothing. We are in the room on the right and the wind is super strong. It’s not suitable to be outdoors for a long time to watch the sea will be very cold, so it is not suitable to soak in the jacuzzi, and the jacuzzi itself cannot change the water. It is troublesome to contact the hotel staff to change the water manually. At the same time, there is a lot of scale in the bathtub, and there is no hot water. I have soaked twice in three nights. There is also a bathtub in the room with hot water, so if you book a water house, it is recommended that there is no jacuzzi. I am more comfortable with the hotel’s meals. Western food is mainly used, steak and fish steaks are various Curry sauce, various fried things, macaroni, various salad cheeses, you can choose your own vegetables at noon for the chef to fry, and you can choose to cook soup at night or in the morning, but you will get tired after eating three meals a day and buffet for two days. We had a lovely stay on the island during our honeymoon. We stayed for 10 days in an ocean villa with direct access to the reef for snorkeling. The villa, beach, food and service was excellent, as well as the snorkeling trips we did during our stay. Our host Rilwan was welcoming and always helpful to make our honeymoon as comfortable as possible. While it is more suited for couples, there is also a kids club on the island. We can definitely recommend to stay at Sun Siyam Iru Veli.

Breakfast buffet with drinks, dinner buffet drinks a la carte. 3. The hotel's children's club is good, the venue is large, the staff is enthusiastic, and the children are happy. 4. The hotel's subsea restaurant can be experienced. There are three packages for adults. We ordered two packages with drinks and one children's package for a total of $ 455. 5. I brought two children and booked a sand house and a water house for 5 nights. The hotel prepared two small beds in both rooms. The feeling of vacation is generally okay. Tips are recommended, don't give too little. Tips of $ 1 are not available now, it is better not to give them. My now husband and I visited Baglioni for our honeymoon early October and had a great trip! We came all the way from the US so it was a long day of travel! From the moment we arrived in Male, we were whisked away to the Baglioni seaplane lounge which was beautiful and had lots of snacks and beverages. We then embarked on our 45 min seaplane flight and landed at beautiful Baglioni! We were greeted by staff and the most beautiful blue water. Rameez, our butler was there and greeted us with handmade palm leaf necklaces. We then had a super quick check in and were off on a tour or the property on a golf cart. Everything is walkable at Baglioni which we loved. We then were taken to our over water bungalow, 220, which was beautiful! The villa is modern but comfortable. We loved that we could snorkel 10 feet off our ladder and see the most incredible fish! The snorkeling is the best!! All the restaurants were delicious but Umami was our favorite! We enjoyed the pool, it’s large and was never crowded. The pool bar staff is great as well! A special shout-out to Praful who kept us entertained on one of our rainy days and made our last night special. We enjoyed some activities such as the cooking classes which were great! The night time entertainment with Zaki was some of our favorite! Zaki is incredibly talented and made our stay extra fun! The spa was good but could use some improvements. There aren’t a lot of amenities but the massage was great. Rameez was the star of our trip though. Checking in on us, making reservations and helping with anything we needed. We had an amazing trip and would recommend Baglioni to anyone!!
