We were very impressed by the front of the house Zara, who engaged with us authentically and assisted with the checking-in process. She showed genuine interest in the customers and provided information appropriately. The room was compact with all the necessities - I particularly like the space under the bed to put my open suitcase, and the ample options of mirrors. One thing to complain about is that we could hear loud music from our room early in the morning (6.30-7am), which we suspected coming from the gym classes. Another thing is guests have to pay for parking.

What a beautiful hotel in beautiful setting. We had a spacious room with a lovely big bed and separate bath with over shower. Bottle of water in the room and kettle with coffee and tea sachets. Hotel provides toiletries. We had pre booked breakfast which was a buffet and very nice. All in all a good stay

Room size adequate, if a bit dated . Facilities in room fine and bed comfortable and clean . Very handy for the anvil theatre and shopping centre. Chech in staff helpful.

Nice and clean and friendly staff. Great welcome by the night manager and the staff were very friendly, comfortable beds!! !!

Basic but clean and very convenient for M3/A34 etc. Good service at check in. Quiet room. Shower good; everything clean. Very good value for money.

The location of the Langstone is very good as were all of the staff and the breakfast, the only let down was the lack of cleanliness of our room. Coffee mugs and glasses in the room were dirty, the horizontal surfaces dusty, the high and low corners of the room cobwebbed. The mirrors and windows unclean . The bathroom fittings etc were very tired and the bath bottom uninviting. The  view of a fig tree was OK but the area around it unkempt. The beds, twin, though we had anticipated a double we’re clean and comfortable. The light above the mirror was not working. We did ask for the room to be serviced after our first night, unfortunately only the beds were remade and the waste bin emptied. No cleaning attempted nor towels changed. I do feel that there may be a lack of pride in the job from some of the staff but the cobwebs and dust were long standing. Would we stay again , possibly, as on checking out we made the above comments and received apologies and a note for an upgrade for any next visit.  We had spent the previous night in a Premier Inn in Salisbury and the cleanliness there was was very good.

Nice little inn off the highway and it’s a hidden gem! Nice Italian decor especially in the restaurant. That continues into the room where my wife commented it made her think of the room we stayed in Venice. Another great thing is that they warmed up the room before we got there, so it’s nice and warm we entered it.  Restaurant also served good Italian food. Would stay there again!

The receptionists were welcoming and helpful when our keys were sensitive to being near items in my handbag. Appreciated the free car parking, moderately-spacious clean room and location of the hotel, ~15min walk to the centre if preferred. The carpet was a bit worn.

I arrived late (2315 hours) although within their check in windows, but they had the room keeps ready for me in the room, so I was able to get straight in without any fuss. Brilliant service - thanks.

The room is well equipped, the spa quite a treat after a long day of travelling. Staff is friendly and helpful in general. My room got a power outage prabably due to a tripped circuit. The hotel sent help quickly, and offered to change my room to next door, after a few failed tries of restarting the power. The stay was a bit more eventful than normal but satisfactory all in all.
