Such a great stay! The hotel have a smart home assistant that made everything so convenient! The bed is the BIG PLUS! It was huge and super comfortable making it hard to leave! The best part? They offer free airport transfer which was huge time and cost savers for us! The staff is also very friendly! Highly recommended this place in all aspects especially if you reach airport late night or need to leave early!

It was a pleasant surprise to stumbled across this gem. The hotel was just situated inside the Li Jiang ancient town which makes it very convenient to travel and walk around the town even in the wee hours without the need to worry about taking didi! The hotel staff has contacted us 4 days before to ensure our smooth arrival. The staff was very sweet, friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs before, during and even after our stay. She even assisted to recommend us some tours around Li Jiang and also when we were planning to travel up to Shangrila. The tours she recommended and assisted to book were all great! This has helped us tremendously to save our time research and plan on our own ☺️. The room we booked is with private balcony, it has fantastic view and the room were clean and comfortable to stay. Will definitely come back here next time and recommend to my friends and family of this place to stay if they ever plan to come to Li Jiang!

The hotel lobby was pleasant, with a reading corner. We were given a free room upgrade; the room was clean, spacious and had a huge firm bed (good back support). There is even a tea brewing set in-room. Our main gripe was this building seems to be shared with other hotels/offices so the lifts were a little run down and took a long time to arrive at our floor (we stayed at level 25). Overall, this place is quite value-for-money, comfortable, and had ample space in room to open 3-4 big luggages. However, if you’re rushing to catch a didi etc, do allocate a few more minutes for the lift to arrive at your floor.

The location is good. The front desk night staff is helpful and friendly. Checkin very smooth. The room is clean and have high ceiling, very spacious. However there is only one washer and dryer in the laundry room. The hotel lobby is on the 6th floor, the drop off area is not directly in-front of the hotel so abit inconveniences. Overall have a pleasant stay.

One of the best hotels we stayed. Room is brilliant, beautifully decorated, very clean. Hot water is instant, AC capable of blowing hot air, fantastic for the cold wintry nights. The owners of the hotel provide excellent services, in keeping guests connected through Wechat way before arrival date and throughout our stay. Helped us too to order Peking duck when we were exhausted after a day of sightseeing. Their afternoon tea and evening ******* butter tea spread a spirit of good cheer amongst the guests. Really love the fabulous breakfast every day, with lovely views of JDS mountain to boot.

Hotel is very closed to railway station within 10 minutes walk.The room is large and has full modern facilities. Reeptions are very hospitality although they can not speak English well. Breakfast is cheses style but delicious. Map showed in Trip.com is not exactly correct and the hotel's name shoul be chanded as VX hotel. Foreign tourists can not read the name in chinese.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel, and I can't recommend it enough! The staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary special by helping to pre-decorate our room in advance—it was such a thoughtful touch that made our celebration even more memorable. Since it was our first time visiting Shangri-La, the hotel staff proactively checked in with us and provided useful advice, including information about high-altitude sickness and recommendations for interesting places to visit. Their hospitality made us feel truly welcomed and well-prepared for our trip. Additionally, we were allowed to check in early, which was a huge convenience after our journey. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean, with cozy floor heating that kept us warm despite the chilly weather. The room was very comfortable, with a strong internet connection, making our stay both relaxing and convenient. To top it all off, we even received a free gift upon checkout, which was a lovely surprise! Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations with its outstanding service and attention to detail. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shangri-La!

Hotel receptionists are friendly and helpful, they shared the direction how to go tourists places and recommended one day tour. Cafe also provided nice breakfast and keep asking us if to add on more foods. Thanks for the washing machine and dryer, function well too. But the hotel signboard is not so obvious and cannot be found on the spot until we reached at the corner and saw it. Power points in the rooms quite few only and one side is faulty so better to monitor and replace new. Overall the room and hotel services is still not bad.

Had a great experience staying here! The location is superb and what’s even more amazing is their customer service. Though this is only a 4 star hotel, their customer service is top-notch, deserved to be 5 star. Even before the stay, the hotel reached out to be if I need some decoration for my room. Without even a second thought they will assist you with your luggage when checking in and out. They also called to our room if we needed any night snacks and delivered it up. I encountered numerous hiccups with my taobao deliveries and they took the initiative to assist and contact the delivery company. The hotel also serves wonderful breakfast at the lobby and there’s a corner in the lobby where snacks are served at specific timing. What’s interesting is that you can make your own tea/coffee. The hotel also has laundry room for everyone to use at no costs. I would like to specially thank 凤凰 and 欣玉 for their excellent service and hospitality! ❤️

Kunming JEN Hotel and Shangri-La are housed in the same complex with lower floors (1-17F) being JEN. Shangri-La is located on 18F and above, but it is now undergoing renovation which should be ready by end 2025. The Tuodong Stadium (Exit D) subway station on line 3 is just outside the hotel, making travelling very convenient and easy. The rooms look refreshed and spacious with electric curtains control. A good feature is the cold/hot water dispenser machine in each room that provides unlimited drinking water supply at all times. The buffet breakfast is really fantastic, wish I could stay another day to indulge in it !! Front desk staff Hong Rui 洪瑞 was very helpful in assisting us about places to visit and restaurants to try out. Really appreciate her help to extend our check-out time as we had a late departure flight. Overall, this is one of the good hotels that I have stayed in the major cities of China. Will return to JEN when I visit Kunming again.

The hotel is well located and allowed us to make our way within 10 mins to the Kunming train station. However we find the bed too firm for us. Didn't have breakfast at the restaurant but staff accommodated our request to pack some food for our trip early morning out of Kunming. Napping street and old Kunming old street are worth a visit. We had walked from Wen Lin street through the Jade lake to the old street. I highly recommend this walk, lovely!

Excellent service from a top class hotel. Most notable were service staff Suri and Jason when we arrived early in the morning, tired from a long flight. They were flexible in terms of early check-in availability and helping us settled in quickly. Also special mention to Luffy and his colleagues who sorted out our WiFi connectivity issues even after his working hours. Facilities like the gym, indoor swimming pool were great, as you would expect from a Sofitel. All in our family enjoyed our stay very much.

My definition of luxury, this brand new hotel strikes the perfect balance of elegance and simplicity as art deco style. Bath Rooms are tastefully decorated with all the high quality amenities. You'd come to expect from a 5+ star hotel including automatic black out curtains and one touch lighting control. The restaurant/breakfast area was outstanding. The breakfast was one of the best I experienced with a selection not found in any other 5 star hotel. Staff was super friendly and helpful. From the moment we booked the room we were greeted with the most friendly staff. Emily and Wan (in the Front desk/Concierge ) gave us a smooth check in, and provided us with a great dining guide that we wanted to explore. They are exceptional! I would highly recommend and will definitely go back for these stellar services and amenities.

We were delighted to discover the hotel’s modern facilities and fresh ambiance, which certainly contributed to a memorable experience. The hotel is clean and convenient, the room is spacious. Despite the late arrival, the front desk was very helpful and willing to make best efforts to ensure we have a great experience at the hotel. Especially thanks to Judy Xu who immediately offered us a family room with King Bed and an Extra Bed for my kid when I just told her we didn’t request the extra bed but we may need it later if twin beds are too small. We had a great experience and will definitely come back!

1 night stay at spacious 2 double beds room. Each bed can fit 2 medium sized adults. 2 beds fit 4 adults. 30mins smooth ride from Kunming Changshui International Airport. Centrally located. Huge clean beautiful hotel. Reach hotel abt 9am and hotel reception was very kind and helpful. Staff can converse simple English. I was lucky they allow early check in. Wifi strength in hotel is low so you will need to have prep your own data arrangement from ur country. Tv channels are limited to chinese programmes. No netflix. Room view is city and the surrounding building light up at night. Night view is nice. We left the window open as outside air is more cooling. Its december and temp is mostly 10deg and below. Generally no bidets in toilets in China. No halal food in hotel. But just 20mins walk along Nanping Pedestrian street you can find halal food at the muslim community near Shuncheng street. Theres also an acient mosque called Shuncheng Mosque. PreBook trip.com airport transfer at 50sgd. Big 6 seater mpv. Driver assigned was professional and very punctual. Hassle free and highly recomend.

A very old hotel, very small TV (guess is a 21') given the room size ration. Light switches are not centralised, need to walk around the whole room to off all lights. Requested for high floor in reservation but was assigned lower. Was woken up by car horns around 7+am, requested for higher floor room the next day but given a 'roll eye' attitude. Disappoitment for a Grand Park group.

This hotel is great. It’s a bit tricky to get to with your own vehicle because the road is weird but if you want to anything on dianchi lake, Yunnan nationalities park or west hills the location is ideal. The staff are friendly and we got free breakfast and dinner! The hot springs is nice but not large. Water was clean. We got the family loft room which is great for families but I recommend they put a bunk bed in the family room for foreign families who have multiple kids and Chinese families with 2 or more kids.

I had a great stay at Holiday Inn Kunming City Center. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering a comfortable environment to relax after a long day. The hotel's location is convenient, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout my stay. Super love the ancient 古镇 feel of this hotel room, and its proximity and link through a back door to Lijiang Ancient Town. Service is excellent where the hotel staff delivered medicine and other amenities request where required. Breakfast is excellent too. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lijiang!

Travelled with my family and the hotel was beautiful! The overall hotel environment is tranquil and quiet, away from the bustle of the main ancient town yet still conveniently located to get around. Breakfast restaurant had a great view of the morning light shining on the mountain. Rooms despite showing slight signs of age were well maintained, stylish and comfortable. Stayed at 2 different rooms during my stay and the second had poor water pressure for the shower. However, upon feedback, the staff were able to quickly fix the problem which showed their professionalism and high service standards. Overall, a comfortable and great stay for families and would definitely consider it value for money given Hyatt’s 5* standards!

The room was far smaller than expected with a very petite though functional bathroom (without any natural light). The two single beds were small and difficult to sleep in. The air conditioning was old and quite poor. It was difficult to bring the temperature down at night. There was one tiny wardrobe that could not hold much clothing at all. There was no tea, coffee or other benefits of an alleged 5 star hotel. The following day, the cleaners (who were fantastic and very nice) brought us a few biscuits and a plate with a few fruit items on it. Two bottles of water were provided each day. The breakfast had a good selection of possible dishes though the staff did not refill regularly so many items became unavailable during breakfast. The dishes were very Chinese orientated, which was not a problem given that we were the only foreigners in the hotel. The reception staff were excellent, very helpful and supportive.

Went to Lijiang with my elderly parents. Selected this hotel based on its location, which is outside of the ancient city, but near enough to walk to. There is no need to lug suitcases on cobblestone road and there is a lift to every floor so it was elder-friendly. It is also not far from Heilongtan. We stayed here for 3 nights. Got complimentary room upgrade. Staff are friendly and helpful, all the way from from the main reception, to housekeepers, to cafe, to breakfast crew. When tired from walking around town, mahjong was also available. Cannot remember everyone by name, but would like to thank the whole team, 小娟，安娜 for a wonderful stay.

The hotel is a bit old but that’s ok. The facilities are quite lacking. Lots of services are independent supplier like the hot water ( we had to wait 60 minutes after first shower) the spa is also independent. Not necessarily bad but not used to it.

The hotel is very spacious and comfortable, with two separate bedrooms and separate bathrooms with showers and bathtubs. The breakfast is also very rich. It is especially suitable for families with children. It is also very convenient to go to various attractions and the transportation is convenient. I especially want to give a thumbs up to the housekeeper Ba Xu. Any problem will be solved for you as soon as possible. WeChat communication handles the problem very quickly and also gives extra services. Originally, I was in Lijiang for three days, and the hotel for the next two days was quickly cancelled after checking in. My grandmother said that staying in a B&B is not as comfortable as staying in a hotel.

Highly recommended hotel if you want to be in the ancient city and not too far away from the main road. Personalised butler service with 小勇 was great! WeChat group was set up before arrival and he helped with arranging the free transport from Lijiang train station to 南门1号 where he is there with trolley to help us with the luggages as the road in the ancient city is bumpy. Super grateful for great service where he went above and beyond working hours to fix up our needs and also introduce scenic routes within the ancient city and recommending restaurants and shopping tips around. He also helped to book our tickets to 玉龙雪山 and 丽江千古情 show. We all loved the animal interaction at the hotel. Hotel has a 1 year plus samoey mixed golden dog name xixi which is friendly and playful. 2 alpacas, brown one is male and white one is female who is more shy. 2 rabbits and 2 peacocks. There are washing machines and dryer for ur laundry needs too. 2 game station. Gym. Library. Pool table. Tea houses. KTV room was good! Tea break and breakfast was also nice. The flat white was legit.

Big shoutout to 小钟 for the great service! Check in was really smooth and seamless. Touched down at 12pm-ish and he was kind to allow us to check in early. Room was clean and bathtub was huge! Really love the lunch at the international restaurant. Do try their 小锅米线。 however this hotel is not located near the 古镇。It takes around 20 mins to head to the 古镇， but it is convenient with didi.

The resort is nicely built and designed. Enjoyed the stay thoroughly. The breakfast was great wide range of foods, Chinese and western. Fruits were aplenty, complimentary bottled waters are replenished daily. Beds were comfortable but pillows were too soft to my liking. The room itself is a bit dated, front door is not properly aligned and closing it need to push harder. The cleaning person were not thorough enough, while the black marbled floor is clean, the carpet could not be said so as there were stains and foods stuff sticking to the carpet from previous customers.

The welcome fruit plate is so healthy and delicious . We were surprised by the spectacular view of YuLong Snow Mountain right in front of the room. The room is so spacious that we laid down two large and one small luggage without any movement issue. Also not to mention about interior design is so cosy and comfortable. Instant hot water during shower, sufficient number of power socket, smart toilet bowl and self service free laundry machines were available for our need. This hotel also serve healthy, balance diet and Yunan caffe for breakfast. We thank you to front desk manager, Miss Xiao for her best efforts and arrangements. This is the best hotel in Lijiang that we stay so far. I strongly recommend to visitor that plan to have a short stay in Lijiang and wanted to go other places in the next morning.

Facilities: The hotel is one of the few hotels in Dali with an elevator, which is very suitable for bringing the elderly and children to stay. In addition to the need to climb a few steps to enter the hotel. The facilities in the room are very new, the shower water is comfortable, and the bathtub room is booked. The child took a bath and fell asleep comfortably at night. The bedding is also great. Hygiene: I feel that the hygiene is top-notch in Dali's hotels and homestays, and it is very attentive. Environment: The environment is really nothing to say, it is a beautiful design, and those who like to take pictures must not miss it. The most surprising thing was that when I checked out the next day, I was called out by the staff to see the colorful clouds. It was really an unexpected surprise! It left the most wonderful memories for our Dali trip! Service: The service is very considerate. I will contact you by phone a few days in advance, then add WeChat, build a housekeeper group, and ask if you need to take pictures in the hotel, etc. In the evening, I will also send a warm reminder, and breakfast and good night sweet soup can also be delivered to the room for consumption. Exquisite afternoon tea for two: Afternoon tea is a piece of cake and two cups of tea in one room. The taste is quite satisfactory. Facing Cangshan and Erhai Lake, it is really a very comfortable moment. Internet celebrity travel photography (5 original photos are given as a gift, not superimposed): I did not take the free travel photography. I made an appointment the day before, but I felt a little unwell the next day, so I quickly contacted the hotel to cancel the photo shoot. Interested friends should not miss it. The hotel environment is very beautiful and it should still be very photogenic.

Our experience at Pullman Dali was a mix of highs and lows, with some exceptional staff and several areas that fell short of expectations for an Accor hotel. The Good: We were fortunate to receive excellent service from Ms. Eleven and Mr. Herman, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Their kindness and attentiveness, especially when our child fell sick during the stay, were truly commendable. They provided all the assistance we needed, making a challenging situation much more manageable. Additionally, the café staff member, Mona, stood out for her patience and friendly attitude. The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet the standards we expect from an Accor hotel. Communication was a significant challenge, as many of the local staff struggled with English, making it difficult to get basic information or assistance. The hotel seems to cater primarily to local Chinese guests, which greatly influenced the atmosphere. The breakfast area was chaotic and crowded, and the variety and taste of the food left much to be desired. While Mona was polite and helpful, other staff displayed a dismissive and arrogant attitude. For instance, when we inquired about some of the local breakfast items, the response was abrupt and unwelcoming, as if they didn’t care whether we ate or not. Additionally, breakfast ended strictly at 10:30 AM. While I was still taking food from the buffet, the staff turned off the lights and removed the trays right in front of me without any warning. It felt extremely inconsiderate and left a poor impression. Other Observations: The location of the hotel is convenient, and the rooms are decent. However, the overall experience may be more suited to local Chinese guests rather than international travelers expecting global standards of service and hospitality. Final Thoughts: While there were shining moments thanks to a few outstanding staff members, the overall experience at Pullman Dali did not live up to the reputation of the Accor brand. If you are an international guest seeking a more service-oriented stay, you might want to consider other options.

I had enjoyed my stay at Dali Ancient Luchun Hotel extremely much due to the excellent service. They really weren’t lying about the Haidilao-style service.  Their front desk personnel manning the Wechat (慕雅) was extremely responsive and helpful when it came to my requests. The lobby staff were also very helpful in delivering stuff to my room and when I was carrying luggages, they ran forward and assisted me immediately.  The services at this hotel were also unique and special: warm milk delivery daily (so that you can sleep) and free pick-up to and from the Ancient City and also to the airport/railway.  Nearby (10 minutes walk) there is also street food that tastes amazing and is value for money.  Overall, I would recommend this stay to anyone who is looking for stellar service and helpful staff and I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I had the chance to visit Dali.  我非常喜欢入住大理麓椿花园酒店，他们提供的优质服务真的名不虚传，确实有海底捞式服务的水准。 前台负责微信客服的慕雅对我的各种需求都非常响应和耐心解答。大堂的工作人员也很热情周到，每次送东西到房间时都很及时，当我提着行李时，他们还会主动上前帮忙。 酒店的服务也非常独特和贴心：每天送热牛奶（助眠），还提供免费接送服务，不仅接送古城，还可以送到机场或高铁站。 附近也有步行十分钟可达的街头美食，味道很棒，性价比也很高。 总之，我会推荐这家酒店给任何想要体验优质服务和热心员工的客人。如果有机会再次来到大理，我一定会选择再次入住这家酒店！

The hotel was conveniently located right outside the dali ancient town, offering both convenience and tranquility. It was also beautifully decorated and equipped with a lot of amenities such as the pool, a really nice roof garden as well as a mini gym though we did not use them during this trip. The service and hospitality of the staffs were also impeccable. The receptionists were prompt in replies and always available to assist us, be it greeting us and helping us with our luggages or recommendations regarding touring around dali. We were also very grateful for the free room upgrade and were once again impressed by the cleanliness, decor and comfort of the room. The supper was really good as well. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and will recommend it to anyone coming to dali! :)

The waterfront B&B is very quiet. The facilities and butler service are worth more than five stars. Breakfast, afternoon tea, midnight snacks, and luggage pick-up by the butler. The open-air landscape public area is relatively large in the ancient town. There is a small garden and an open-air restaurant in the open air, both of which are suitable for taking pictures. There are only two water swings, and this is one of them. The Santorini style, the view in the room is great, unobstructed, and you can see the sunrise and sunset of Erhai Lake in the room in the morning and evening.

New Hotel with basic facilities. Room view is amazing. All the staffs we encountered are approachable and professional. We were given a room on the high floor overlooking Erhai Lake. Hotel location is about (1) 35 mins to Dali Ancient Town (2) 15 mins to The Ideal State Santorini (3) 50mins to Shuanglang Ancient Town (4) 25 mins to Dali train station by car subject to traffic conditions. The only concern was that there was no air-conditioner. We were told to open the balcony door as the weather was cooling. We also learned that the 1x transport provided was for pick-up from airport or train station only, not drop off. Overall experience was good.

Honglongjing Hotel is a treasure hotel with excellent service. The waiter came to pick us up at the parking lot and arranged a relatively large room for us. In particular, there is a rooftop garden overlooking the ancient city of Dali. It is convenient to go to nearby attractions. It is very clean and has racks for drying clothes. The breakfast is not bad. There is a water bar with resident singers at night. Recommended to everyone.

We stayed at this hotel for a night during our trip to Dali. The hotel was new and very instagrammable. We were checked in to a room with no view despite paying for a sea-view room, but this was resolved by the staff by offering us an available sea-view room. The hotel staff were extremely attentive. Kudos to 小俊, our personal butler, who provided a lot of information over WeChat and was very prompt with his responses. They provided a variety of snacks, fruits and drinks and even a bowl of “goodnight sweet soup” each at night. Breakfast was mainly Chinese but was delicious! The room was large and clean and offered a good view of Erhai. Room amenities were well-stocked and room facilities were top notch - the room was equipped with smart home technology and there was also a projector for home entertainment. The only downside to this hotel is its location (Wenbi Village), which is far away from the main sightseeing spot in Erhai (S湾) and from the train station. The village is, however, tranquil and peaceful. Great stay overall!

Very good location 5 minutes walk to main area. Very good service by housekeeper xiao hao. Hotel is comfortable and clean. Breakfast, tea time and night dessert is great. Very easy accessible. We enjoyed our time here. They have transport service to pick you up at the main road and also sending you to nearby places. Highly recommended.

The hotel is in great location and the room has great view with a very comfortable bathroom layout (very spacious). The only thing is that the staff at check in and check out took our money. We booked 3 rooms in total and we paid in full at check in. Despite payment with credit card, the staff asked each of us to pay extra RMN1000 per room as a deposit in cash. At check out, no damage was found and they returned our deposit but all the 3 rooms only got RMB900 back. The staff could not speak English and even we could speak a little Chinese, the communication and the explanation is not understandable why we were deducted RMB100 per room total of RMB300 on top of the full payment. Other hotels will just block the credit card as deposit which is standard but when I asked if they can just use credit card that we paid to block the deposit, they said it could not be done. Moreover, when we paid RMB3000 deposit for 3 rooms, we counted RMB100 x30 to the staff. The staff took the money to another location saying they had to use the machine to count, then she came back saying there was only RMB2900. I guess she also took another RMB100 from the cash deposit. (Check in time was on April 10 at 10.30pm and check out time was on April 12 at 9.40am)
