We are Malaysian & can speak mandarin. Don’t worry if you’re non-chinese speaker, they will try their best to communicate with you. Sonzhuju Coffee & Tea Holiday Villa is convenient for those who bring big luggage. They have a service to help carry your luggage too, from the main road (approx 170m). And please let them know once you arrived at the main road! The hotel is away from loud noise & busy from the main area. Cosy place & strategic for us staying in 3D2N. The room was clean. Breakfast included, but for Muslims, please mention that you’re Muslim, then they will prepare you veggie options. And you can choose to have your meal in your room or their eating area.

Ai Fei, a local host from the hotel, was very helpful in arranging our customised tour trip. We texted the hotel via WeChat 8–9 days prior to our arrival in Lijiang. We asked if there was any local there who could advise us on the trip and straightaway they made a group for discussion. He'd make sure that we were all okay & happy to discuss our plan to visit any area that we would like to go to. He arranged our private car trip to JDSM & Blue Moon Valley and brought the ticket for us too. Upon we'd arrived at the hotel, he served us a welcome tea, fruit and flower cake. From the next morning we are going to JDSM & Blue Moon Valley. He advised us on what the do’s and don't prior to our trip. The private driver that he helped arrange for us was also very helpful & patient to ensure that we felt safe going to the place (group chat). He also helped to arrange a private car for us to Shangri-la. Overall, he made our plan and trip smoothly.

As for the Muslims, you can ask him or the hotel host to recommend where the nearest Muslim restaurant they will definitely find for you.
Overall, definitely recommend staying here. We are happy with our stay here.

The hotel room was spotless and very quiet at night, which is a huge plus for anyone who values good sleep – highly recommend it! The front desk staff was lovely; the lady at reception paid close attention to the notes I left on Trip.com and even gave me an eye mask. The location is super convenient for transport on weekends, and dining is a breeze with all sorts of malls downstairs and the old street right next door. Breakfast was also fantastic with a great variety of choices. I'll definitely pick this hotel again next time I'm in Kunming.

My stay at Nazhu was truly impressive, from the smallest details to the overall experience. The room was very clean, well-organized, and comfortable. It felt like a perfect place to fully relax after a long day of exploring. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around Lijiang. For guests staying three nights or more, the hotel provides a complimentary one way transfer service to (railway station/Airport), which makes the trip even more hassle-free—especially for first-time visitors. Another thing I really appreciated is that even though the hotel is located in the old town area, transportation is still quite accessible, so getting in and out is easy without having to walk too far. Overall, it’s a place that offers cleanliness, convenience, and thoughtful service—making the entire stay even more memorable

Hotel fabuloso. Quarto elegante com comodidades de alto padrão. Ótimo shampoo! É um pouco difícil de encontrar, mas conseguimos pegar um Didi na estação de trem de alta velocidade por 32 RMB. Há um elevador dentro da loja de roupas 99Y que leva ao 4º andar. Uma mulher em uma sala bem simples lhe entregará a chave. O hotel parece ter um nome diferente em inglês: Aina Hotel. De qualquer forma, não é tão fácil de encontrar para quem fala inglês. O quarto é espaçoso e aconchegante. Roupa de cama confortável. Área de estar muito bem decorada. Ventilador de teto e ar-condicionado. TV de tela plana grande. Adorei o conjunto de bule e xícara. O hotel oferece um chá e mel de cortesia. Não fomos incomodados por barulho, apesar de estar em uma área turística popular. Tudo fica perto também. Foi divertido visitar o parque ao longo do rio. Ficamos duas noites lá. Recomendo muito.

Service was excellent as staff at Reception counter is able to understand English. Good customer attributes and with smiling and dedicated services. Even help me to fix problem on the coffee dispenser provided with compliments beside the reception counter. Location is strategic and near to Kunming. Room is extremely big and price is reasonable. Highly recommended. Will book again in my next trip

Very cool and authentic place , warm,poetic and nostalgic. We enjoy staying there three days. The thoughtfulness they showed us is excellent , They even offered a bucket and herbal pack to soak our tired feet. A place you want to come back.

如果來河口縣住一晚非常推薦，房子很有特色，就在海關大樓的旁邊，距離老車站鐵路橋郵局等打卡點都非常近，周邊吃飯咖啡也方便，樓下可以停車但車位不多，可以停在馬路對面停車場（酒店報銷）。海爾洗烘一體機一台，烘乾機一台。

Instalações: As camas e as instalações eram muito novas, indicando reformas recentes. Há uma lavanderia self-service para roupas sujas, o que foi excelente. Localização: Situado a 300 metros à direita da saída da estação de trem, muito conveniente, ideal para conexões com trens de alta velocidade para Mile, Dali, Lijiang, Shangri-La, etc. Refeições: O café da manhã era bom, especialmente os bolos de flores; oferecer mais opções como especialidade seria uma boa ideia. Atendimento: Este foi o aspecto mais satisfatório. Desde o check-in até todas as vezes que entramos ou saímos do hotel, as recepcionistas foram incrivelmente atenciosas e educadas. Esta foi minha primeira impressão positiva de Kunming. O proprietário deveria considerar dar um aumento e uma promoção a essas funcionárias.

This was one of the most exciting and memorable stays during our trip in Yunnan. I had many warm and meaningful conversations with the owner, and I can truly say that the entire staff was extremely kind, attentive, and always ready to help whenever we needed anything. Their support made our stay feel very easy and comfortable. We stayed in a lovely room furnished entirely in traditional Chinese style, which made the experience feel truly unique and authentic. The room was spacious and very comfortable, and every detail reflected the local character. One of the best things about this accommodation is its location. It is right inside the Old Town of Lijiang—quiet and peaceful, yet at the same time you really feel like you are part of the old town itself. It never felt noisy, but instead warm, lively, and full of atmosphere. The courtyard is beautifully designed in classic Lijiang style, creating a space where guests can truly relax. I stayed on the second floor, and every afternoon I could enjoy the warm sunlight while looking down into the courtyard. Those moments felt incredibly romantic and special, and they gave me a deep sense of connection to the place. A very special highlight were the two dogs, so typical of Lijiang. They are quite big, but incredibly gentle and friendly, and they truly made the place feel like home. Their presence added warmth and character to the stay and made everything feel even more welcoming. This is one of those accommodations where foreign guests can genuinely feel at home while experiencing the real spirit of Lijiang. Everything about this stay felt authentic and heartfelt. I can recommend this place to everyone with complete confidence—it was simply perfect, a true 10 out of 10.
