The courtyard gets plenty of sun and has a lively atmosphere. There's a door on the third floor that leads to the rooftop platform of the building opposite, perfect for getting a full, all-around tan three shades darker. Definitely don't take kids up to the rooftop though! Occasionally, a few local residents gather in the courtyard to play ping-pong, which is quite fun to watch. The front desk staff, three young women and one young man, were all very helpful. The guy even helped me carry my luggage up to my room, which I really appreciated! In the evenings, there's an older gentleman at the front desk. Overall, it was a really great and comfortable stay. I didn't take many photos, so here's just a random one.

Good view of Yulong Snow Mountain from room and rooftop lounge & terrace. They even thoughtfully set up 3 tripod stands on the rooftop terrace for guests’ use. Room was clean & spacious, bed was comfortable and shower pressure was good. No elevator so you need to climb stairs to your room or breakfast / butter tea demo (level 5 rooftop) which can be a little strenuous if you are not used to the high altitude yet. Breakfast is very good, especially the panfried chickpea jelly. We were too early for breakfast on our day to the snow mountain, and they packed simple breakfast (bread, orange & milk) for us to go. We also enjoyed the snacks provided at the nightly butter tea demo. They also kindly helped us rent an electric scooter online when we could not do it due to lack of local number. Location is about 20min walk to Lijiang Old Town. Highly recommended and I would stay here again

The room was clean and tidy, with complete amenities and a well-thought-out layout that was convenient to use. The self-service laundry was a lifesaver for guests. The hotel staff were attentive and had excellent attitudes, making guests feel right at home. The hotel's surroundings boasted incredibly convenient transportation and perfect commercial facilities. There were also many attractions nearby, such as Cuihu Park and Kunming Old Street, allowing us to experience the convenience of living and traveling.

This was one of the most exciting and memorable stays during our trip in Yunnan. I had many warm and meaningful conversations with the owner, and I can truly say that the entire staff was extremely kind, attentive, and always ready to help whenever we needed anything. Their support made our stay feel very easy and comfortable. We stayed in a lovely room furnished entirely in traditional Chinese style, which made the experience feel truly unique and authentic. The room was spacious and very comfortable, and every detail reflected the local character. One of the best things about this accommodation is its location. It is right inside the Old Town of Lijiang—quiet and peaceful, yet at the same time you really feel like you are part of the old town itself. It never felt noisy, but instead warm, lively, and full of atmosphere. The courtyard is beautifully designed in classic Lijiang style, creating a space where guests can truly relax. I stayed on the second floor, and every afternoon I could enjoy the warm sunlight while looking down into the courtyard. Those moments felt incredibly romantic and special, and they gave me a deep sense of connection to the place. A very special highlight were the two dogs, so typical of Lijiang. They are quite big, but incredibly gentle and friendly, and they truly made the place feel like home. Their presence added warmth and character to the stay and made everything feel even more welcoming. This is one of those accommodations where foreign guests can genuinely feel at home while experiencing the real spirit of Lijiang. Everything about this stay felt authentic and heartfelt. I can recommend this place to everyone with complete confidence—it was simply perfect, a true 10 out of 10.

The Kaleidoscope room is truly amazing! You can capture the chimney night view right from the balcony, and the most stunning surprise was on the day we left – I opened the curtains and saw the sunrise, it was absolutely beautiful. The hotel staff's service attitude was also excellent. I accidentally scraped another car while parking, and they quickly helped resolve it. They even gave us two complimentary breakfasts afterward. I'm truly grateful; this hotel is genuinely fantastic. The shuttle bus takes you directly to the scenic area for photos, but the Dongfengyun Scenic Area is only really suitable for taking pictures; we finished exploring in half an hour. By 3 PM, we were so bored we just watched TV at the hotel. If I hadn't booked the hotel in advance, I would have just gone back to Kunming that evening.

We had such a lovely stay here. We were offered free fresh fruit straight from the garden (mango and other local fruits). We were offered tea. The owners were very nice, and so helpful. They didn’t speak English but helped us book tickets for the sightseeing bus and provided great recommendations. Breakfast was unique but very nice. Rooms were so clean, massive. Great area. Comfy bed. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Our independent trip to Yunnan concluded in Kunming, our final stop. We chose the Four Points by Sheraton Kunming, City Center because it's right next to Kunming's old town, placing us in the most vibrant part of downtown. Adjacent to it is the upscale Shuncheng Shopping Mall, and the Wuyi Road Station (Exit B) of Metro Line 3 is just 200 meters away. We stayed on the 28th floor, offering fantastic views of the Jinma Biji Archway, both day and night. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering advice on transportation and tourist attractions from a local's perspective. I really appreciate their assistance. The room was very clean, with a wide selection of live TV channels. The bathroom had modern shower facilities, and the bed and other amenities were very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. A short 10-minute walk takes you to the 'Paper-Thin Buildings' in Kunming's old town (such as Duiyue Tower and Jiubei Tower, built to commemorate the 1946 victory in the Anti-Japanese War), which are quite lively in the evening. Nearby, you can also find the former residence of Mr. Nie Er (born in Kunming, he passed away at 23). The pedestrian area boasts many excellent restaurants, coffee shops, tea houses, and bars, making it easy to find good food and enjoy some leisure time.

A beautiful hotel located in a fantastic place in Lijiang Old Town. The owner was very welcoming and on arrival let us leave our bags for us to explore the town and when we returned he welcomed us with his own Chinese tea. The room was great! Good size, very comfortable beds, warm, good shower and toilet too. It had a lovely courtyard view and window seat. The owner helped us and answered all of our questions through WeChat and let us leave our bags for our fins day. We would 100% recommend!

Dali was our fourth stop on our Yunnan trip, and we chose this hotel online. The location is great, quite close to the ancient city. They offer breakfast, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly. Dali is beautiful, and the people are incredibly welcoming. I had a wonderful impression overall.

Very convenient location, practically the nearest hotel to the airport I can find. There is a shuttle bus to the airport, we took the 430am bus to catch an early morning flight. Bed is comfortable, water heat is good. There doesn't seem to be an independent heater in the room though. The building looks old from the outside but the rooms look recently renovated.
