It was a pleasant stay, the location was convenient. The breakfast has limited vegetarian choices. The reception was helpful in booking taxi for us. Hualien has some good vegetarian cuisine choices within the city like Piatto which was very good.  we booked a private charter car to look around the places - we recommend booking these cars in advance. 

住宿特別棒，就在北濱公園那邊。偶然看到了這家的照片就決定要去一趟花蓮。花蓮真的很美，大海和藍天是治癒的，每天都想在陽台發呆看海。 下次來還是希望能回到鹽花

The location is great. The rooms are rather too small, at first I was placed in one that didn't have a window but I asked to be moved to one that had a window, luckily my request was met. Not recommended for an extended stay. Also, the staff at reception aren't friendly with internationals/black foreigners from my experience though they speak English. Only one guy tries to be engaging when you ask for help but the others frown and express irritation. The toilets and showers are clean but the kitchen surfaces are sometimes not kept clean.

The owners are a friendly couple who truly went out of their way to make us feel at home in this town. Including recommendations for food, entertainment and local cultural experiences. The room was great, and the small town vibe was a welcome relief from the hustle and bustle of the nearby bigger city.

One of the better (if not the best) hotel chains I’ve stayed at in Taiwan. I’ve visited Taiwan about 10 times and stayed here for 2 nights, and overall I was very satisfied with the experience. They provide free bicycles (3 hours limit), which is useful for getting around Hualien. Breakfast has a good spread, and there are complimentary ice cream and drinks available in the lobby around the clock. We didn’t realise they also offer late-night supper from 7pm to 9pm, which was honestly as good as a proper dinner buffet, with a good mix of Western and Chinese dishes and even live entertainment. The room was spacious and well maintained, with no hygiene concerns. Shower water pressure was good. Noise levels were generally fine, though louder sounds like furniture movement could occasionally be heard. The hotel is conveniently located near a convenience store, restaurants, KTV, and a cinema, and it’s about a 10-minute walk from the station. You can also cycle to the night market within 15 minutes, making it super easy to get around the main area without getting a taxi. Overall, a very good stay and very good value for money. While a gym would be nice, I would definitely consider staying at other branches on future trips.

So happy to see Hualian Charming Hotel as I walked out of Hualian Train Station, and the main bus stop is between the two buildings. Despite its proximity it is surprisingly quiet. Superb location for intercity travelling plus exploring the city by bus and to Taroko. Lots of eateries, souvenir shops and Family Mart and 7 Eleven. Can't ask for more. Hot and cold breakfast has meat and vegetarian selections, coffees and teas, and salads. No fuss check in and out, complimentary biscuits and hot drinks in the lobby until 8.00 PM. Rooms are spacious and clean, good range of shampoo and shower gel; can't ask for more.

An unique experience for my “city life” daughter. Arrived and greeted by a giant spider at door step. Jumped and almost refused to stay there. Hostess was very friendly and sensitive to our needs. Had the whole house to ourselves but didn’t know how to operate the microwave 🤣. Overall stay was pleasant just abit inconvenient for transport but according to hostess most tourist came with guides so it was our fault to check in just by ourselves. 🤭

one of the best and price worth hotels I have stayed in Taiwan. We had a family room and it was spacious. huge toilet. It was clean and comfortable! Will definitely be back. It is good for business traveller too. The breakfast was surprisingly quite good! Free parking and coin laundry to use. The facility is well maintained! The lobby was welcoming, clean and spacious with marbled flooring!! Staff was extremely friendly because I left my items in the fridge and they took the initiative to email me to inform!

Our stay at Amanda Hotel is Awesome! We enjoy swimming in the pool area,our room is comfy,the food is delicious ,they have these moroccan style outfit for rent that gives highlight to the hotel and it was very entertaining though, i think they just need to add some clothes or a bit repair is needed but overall i would say it worth the penny.and thanks to the very accomodating staff! They did great🙌💚
