Eu queria me hospedar na cidade antiga e, depois de ler muitas avaliações de pousadas, decidi por esta. O nome ”Pipa Old Inn” significa simplesmente que Zhaojun deixou sua pipa lá quando partiu para a fronteira (tirei uma foto explicando a história mais tarde). Ao chegar, o proprietário e as funcionárias foram muito prestativos, ajudando com a bagagem e a encontrar estacionamento. Eles foram muito acolhedores. A pousada está localizada no coração da cidade antiga, com a Rua Xijin e a mesquita logo abaixo, e o Templo Huayan a algumas dezenas de metros de distância. Está convenientemente localizada perto de outras atrações. Embora a pousada esteja no coração da cidade antiga, com lojas por toda parte, não havia barulho algum durante a noite. O ambiente interno é fantástico, com muitas exposições, caligrafias e pinturas, livros e outras informações relacionadas à jornada de Zhaojun até a fronteira. Há também uma varanda no segundo andar, perfeita para desfrutar de um chá e da vista noturna quando você não estiver fora. A cama tinha a firmeza ideal e o edredom era muito confortável. Deixe-me discutir objetivamente a única desvantagem. Fiquei em um quarto duplex deluxe, que era bastante espaçoso e tinha até um sofá pequeno. No entanto, o banheiro era um pouco apertado, tornando-o menos adequado para pessoas com um tipo de corpo maior. O chuveiro só tinha um chuveiro de mão, o que foi um pouco inconveniente devido ao tamanho pequeno. Todo o resto foi excelente, e isso não afeta minha avaliação positiva do B&B. Unfortunately, the overall stay was not great. When we booked the hotel, we specifically requested a non-smoking room, which is essential for us because of health issues. After double confirming with the hotel that they have non-smoking rooms (based on the website, all rooms are non smoking), we paid for our booking. However, shortly after, they informed us that smoking in hotel rooms is common and unavoidable in Taiyuan. We felt deceived into making the payment and realized we were stuck with this accommodation for our 7-day stay. Upon checking in, we had to request a room change due to a strong smoke smell in the original room. The second room was better and the hotel staff was nice enough to provide an air purifier. Throughout our entire stay, people were smoking in the elevator, lobby, and even at the dinner table. If we had known this beforehand, we would have reconsidered staying here. For a 5-star hotel, it did not meet our expectations, and unfortunately, we paid far too much for this experience. The only highlight of our stay was the hotel staff. They were always friendly, helpful, and did their very best to serve the guests, which made our trip a bit more enjoyable. We thank them for their excellent service.

The hotel is located very well across from the airport, and it is a 10-minute walk from the airport. The room is large, the bed is comfortable, but the room has a lot of smoke, so the windows are open to ventilate.

Elsewhere Xianya hotel really exceeded our expectations. The room was clean, quiet and equipped with all kind of amenities, the bed was super big and comfortable. The reception girls were the loveliest and gave us many recommendations and discount tickets for restaurants. On our departure day they even gave us a gift. I would recommend anyone staying here!

The staff were so so friendly and super nice!!! Told them it was our honeymoon and there was a handwritten note with fruits and snacks waiting for us on the table. They didn't have to, but they did ☺️ when we left, we were rushing for the train and didn't have time to eat breakfast. The staff were so concerned we were skipping breakfast she quickly packed some food for us to go and even ran after us to pass us cutlery because she forgot to pack some. Would recommend staying here 10/10!

🏯 I chose the Yanmenwang Jiubao Hotel, located right at the starting line of the Yanmenguan ultra-trail race and next to the Yanmenguan scenic area. It completely exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself is designed with a traditional fortress and Chinese courtyard aesthetic. With its grey brick walls, vermilion eaves, and red lanterns reflecting the blue sky, walking on the flagstone paths felt like stepping back into an ancient pass. Every photo I took looked like it belonged in a historical drama. The room design was an absolute showcase of Chinese aesthetics, featuring double wooden doors with brass handles that opened into a spacious courtyard-style room. It boasted a red-toned storage shelf, an oversized wooden-edged bathtub, cloud-patterned carpets, and a duplex layout. Being right at the ultra-trail race's starting point was incredibly convenient. The hotel opened in 2026, so all the facilities are brand new. Beyond that, the room offered an excellent sense of space and privacy. The independent courtyard layout made it both quiet and comfortable. You could enjoy the courtyard view from the bathtub, and after a good soak, curling up on the sofa made the fatigue from the ultra-trail race instantly melt away. The amenities and bedding were all high quality; the towels even had the hotel's exclusive logo, showing thoughtful attention to detail. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, ensuring an exceptionally peaceful sleep. The hotel service was also very considerate, with shuttle buggies available from the parking lot to the front desk and then to the room. When checking out, the front desk attendant even gave me a chilled NFC juice, adding a refreshing touch to the hot weather! If you're visiting Yanmenguan and looking for a place where you can experience the charm of an ancient pass while enjoying a comfortable vacation, this is absolutely the top choice and highly recommended!

its very beautiful traditional building from the outside. but the interior is modern. its in the center, easy to access to crowded and animated places. At nightime, the place shine beautifullly, a picture snapshot spot. The room is spaciouse, otherwise it is quiet expensive.

O quarto duplex era muito bem isolado acusticamente, muito melhor do que o lugar onde ficamos no meio da rua. Era silencioso apesar de estar em uma área movimentada, a menos de 10 minutos a pé do centro histórico. O proprietário foi muito acolhedor; ele até nos buscou de carro quando estava chovendo. O quarto tinha vários cupons de restaurantes, um pequeno altar budista e um espaço para fazer chá – muito local e cuidadosamente decorado. ❤️ O café da manhã na manhã seguinte foi no pátio, e o proprietário preparou chá para nós. 🫖 Obrigada pela hospitalidade!
