After landing at Pudong International Airport last night around 10 PM, it was too late to go home, so we opted for a nearby hotel that offered airport shuttle service. We hurried to catch the 11 PM shuttle. In the morning, shuttles depart for the international airport every 50 minutes past the hour. The shuttle service was quite good. However, the hotel's facilities were really subpar. We were initially given a standard room, but the shower drain was clogged. The staff kindly upgraded us to a family room. Unfortunately, the sink in the family room's bathroom caused my right thumb to bleed quite a bit because the drain stopper was so stiff and wouldn't budge. The entire room felt quite stuffy, and the hotel itself seemed old and rundown. Even the new room we were given had drainage issues... Its convenient location is a plus, and for just one night, my expectations weren't high, so the price was acceptable. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but it was enough to fill up. A warm bowl of congee was a nice touch too.

The hotel's location is excellent, and it's very convenient for transportation. The room facilities are quite good, and the room itself is very clean and tidy. The mattress is super soft and comfortable. Hot water comes quickly, and everything is well-equipped. The service is great and very attentive, with a good attitude. Since Shanghai was so cold, they even offered hot tea and hot water. Staff personally escorted me to my room and even delivered my takeout to the room. The service exceeded my expectations, even better than a five-star hotel. I'll definitely choose this brand again next time.

Everything was wonderful. Great location, although it took me a minute to realise that I needed to get an elevator up from the middle of the hall. there were no clear signs and I kept wondering around, exhausted. airport workers tried to help, but the language barrier was in the way. A pricy, but clean, comfortable and quiet place to get some sleep between flights.

The airport shuttle was super convenient. There are tons of takeout options nearby, and the hotel even has robots that deliver food right to your room, so it arrives quickly. It's a great value-for-money hotel. A taxi ride of just over ten yuan gets you to Metro Line 2, making getting around a breeze. The front desk staff were also very helpful.

The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and quiet. They even upgraded us to a larger room for free. The bed was incredibly comfortable. They thoughtfully provided both large and medium-sized slippers. The bathroom layout was well-designed and very new, with a heated mirror that kept it nice and warm. The gym was well-equipped with fresh air, and while working out, you could enjoy panoramic views of the Oriental Pearl Tower, Huangpu River, and the Bund. The lounge chairs by the pool were very comfortable, offering beautiful city views. The lifeguards were attentive and responsible, and the water temperature was perfect. The New Year's Eve buffet dinner was an excellent value. Breakfast was very rich and satisfying. The location was superb, only a ten-minute walk from Line 2. The doorman was very welcoming and proactively helped us with our luggage. The cleaning staff was very considerate, only cleaning our room when we were out. Overall, it was a superb stay, and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shanghai.

I only stayed here for a night on New Year's Eve so this review is limited to my experience during my stay. First, the hotel is quite easy to find, there's a really tall tower next to it. It's less than a kilometer away from Lancun Subway Station. There's an ALDI shop across the station. Upon check-in, the kind front-desk staff upgraded my room to executive and gave me a room on the east wing (city view). The room is kind of out dated design-wise but it's very clean. I think it's time to update the room interiors and fixtures to make better impressions. Nevertheless, it was still a nice, spacious, and comfortable room (with a functioning tub). The breakfast was good, but choices were kinda limited. There's bacon, sausage, and beans and that's basically it for the western options. Finally, I requested for a late check-out because I had a terrible back pain and wanted a little extra time to recuperate, but I was denied 😔 I do understand that there was high occupancy on that day, but yeah, my stay would have otherwise been perfect.

I stayed near Pudong Airport specifically for the airport shuttle service. The shuttle stops are conveniently located right outside the departure level and run reliably every hour. It's great for both pick-up and drop-off, and also perfect for overnight layovers. The shower has excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. While the decor is a bit dated, it offers great value for money. All the essentials are provided, including toothbrushes, toothpaste, disposable slippers, shower slippers, a comb, tissues, and towels. The air conditioning is newly installed and heats up quickly. This room type even comes with a balcony, offering an expansive view and quick air circulation.

We had been to the Shangri La hotel in Pudong before at Christmas for the afternoon tea and loved it so much we decided to spend a weekend here near Chinese New Year. The staff were friendly, breakfast buffet was amazing and the location right by the river with a view of the Bund is wonderful. The pool facilities are good, but inclusion of more amenities like a sauna or jacuzzi would make it even better, hence the 4/5 stars for amenities. Otherwise, we had a perfect stay. Highly recommend.

The Wi-Fi was incredibly slow! **Location:** Just a few minutes' walk from Shanghai Railway Station and the subway, not far from the main road. There's a FamilyMart and some restaurants downstairs. **Facilities:** A proper hotel with an elevator, air conditioning, and self-service laundry. The shower had good hot water. The wooden furniture looked a bit dated but seemed durable and of good quality. It appears to have been renovated, and the renovation quality is decent. However, I have to complain about the Wi-Fi speed – it was excruciatingly slow! **Soundproofing:** Average; I could hear conversations from the next room. **Cleanliness:** Relatively clean. **Environment:** Both inside and out, it was neat and orderly. **Service:** They proactively offered a room upgrade (perhaps due to fewer guests during the off-season) and could store luggage for us. **Breakfast:** Although breakfast was included, they actually provided a 15 RMB voucher per person to use at a neighboring restaurant. You pay for what you choose, and anything over 15 RMB needs to be paid out of pocket, which felt a bit like a rip-off. However, if you plan carefully, it's manageable. The breakfast quality was relatively average, but it was available from 6:30 AM, which is convenient for early travelers.

The Sheraton, a high-end Marriott hotel, offers exceptional service. The front desk staff helped me arrange several consecutive nights, which saved me a lot of time and effort. The room view was fantastic, and combined with such efficient service, I'm very satisfied with the hotel. Next time I'm in Shanghai, I'll definitely prioritize staying here again. The environment is beautiful, and the service attitude is superb – it's the most satisfying hotel I've ever stayed at while traveling. Many thanks to the hotel staff! The view from upstairs is also super amazing.
