Overall, it was okay. We had a small issue on the first day, which left a bad first impression, but the hotel staff handled it very proactively, so we can move past that. However, the hotel's facilities really need an upgrade. Not only is there no master switch for the lights, but it's also miles away from the bedside, so you have to get out of bed to turn them on and off. The showerhead was also heavily clogged with limescale. On the bright side, the bedding was comfortable, and we slept well. Breakfast was lavish, definitely worth waking up for. The last photo perfectly reflects the hotel's attitude.

Amazing decision to go to Yinchuan for Dragon Boat Festival since it has the best weather and the cleanest city in China. Kempinski in this city is one of the best. The hotel is in the middle of the city, so there are multiple destinations to tour. For my trip, I did not go to the sand dune area. I focused on the ride share to the touristy movie film park snd neighboring theme town. The hotel is also near the growing 801 Creative Park, Night Market, and just a walk from the Ningxia Museum. So many more local and traditional spots. Bring an extra shopping bag. The hotel has a great view of their master plan development, delicious food options from the cafe to the German restaurant, and coffee/tea lobby lounge. The staff is bilingual and the grounds are immaculately clean. Sleeping and facilities really comfortable. Nicest locals all around. Thank you for a great stay.

The luckiest thing about this trip is that I chose this hotel! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the staff member Wang Yanxia was warm and considerate. She quickly checked me in and recommended nearby delicacies. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and I had a good night's sleep. The breakfast was rich and varied. Due to a flight delay, I arrived at the hotel in the early hours of the 27th. The young lady at the front desk was incredibly welcoming, making me feel like I was ”coming home” to an old friend. Perhaps this is the charm of the hotel industry. During the day on the 27th, I also received a warm welcome from the male front desk staff, who recommended local restaurants and introduced me to Yinchuan. Their enthusiasm for the city left a deep impression on me, and I will definitely come back to Yinchuan to further explore this shining pearl at the foot of the Helan Mountains.

Ningxia was a last-minute decision just a few days before my trip, and what a beautiful city it is! Even after a tiring journey, I chose the Marriott. I only booked it on the day of arrival, but the staff were incredibly welcoming. The surrounding area is bustling with many attractions. I enjoyed afternoon tea in the executive lounge, which offered beautiful views of the Yinchuan cityscape, including a large lake and well-planned, crisscrossing roads, all with immaculately maintained green belts. From my suite, I had a fantastic view of the distant Helan Mountains. Interestingly, the next day, while staying at the foot of the Helan Mountains, I could still spot the Marriott! Overall, my stay was incredibly comfortable. After a day of rest, I felt completely refreshed. Yinchuan left a wonderful impression on me, and I'll definitely be back!

From the moment I entered the hotel, there was a security guard helping me with my luggage, to the warm greeting at the front desk when I checked in, and the lobby manager Ana introduced the hotel facilities, including the gym and laundry room. The service was very enthusiastic, the room was large, clean and tidy, and the facilities and equipment were complete. The breakfast room was stylishly decorated and had a wide variety of options. The local specialty mugwort noodles were very good, and the coffee was also very good. The hotel is next to a snack street, a tavern, and a shopping mall, which is very convenient.
