I recently stayed at Wrest Point and would definitely stay again! My room was a highlight—spotlessly clean, super comfortable bed, and a stunning view of the bay that made my stay extra special. I really enjoyed spending time at the Birdcage Bar. The cocktails were fantastic and the atmosphere was lively—highly recommend for a fun night out. Staff-wise, my experience was mixed: some team members were amazing and made me feel welcome, while others weren’t as friendly or helpful as I’d hoped. This didn’t overshadow my overall positive stay, but it’s worth mentioning. Tip: Be sure to request a room with a bay view - it’s worth it!

The hotel's location is excellent. Not only is it the first stop for the SkyBus, but it also offers unbeatable sea views. The market, museum, and park are all within walking distance. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly and thoughtful, and the rooms are cleaned meticulously. The hotel breakfast is delicious, and there are many dining options nearby. In short, everything you need for dining, entertainment, and sightseeing is conveniently accessible. Plus, there's a self-service laundry room on the top floor, which was a lifesaver for our four or five-day stay. Check-out was also a breeze. You do need to bring your own slippers, though. I especially want to commend their room key booklet. Unlike other hotels that just give you a sleeve, theirs is a travel booklet filled with recommendations for great restaurants, tourist attractions, and even includes booking phone numbers and email addresses. They've put so much thought into it! We will definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit.

Nice hotel. Free parking, polite and efficient check-in. Very big room with balcony. Tea/coffee facilities. Excellent views. Forgot wallet with lit of cash and cards at the restaurant during the dinner, only remembered next morning. The wallet was handed back to me next day

Room provides everything you need. Big space, comfy bed, towels, shower kit, fridge and microwave. Owner is very helpful with late check-in. Peaceful neighbourhood and located not far from shopping/food areas.

Fantastic trip and fantastic service at the Hilton Double Tree. Rooms and service were top-notch. Support from staff was fantastic too. My daughter hurt her foot in the pool and they sent her a little note and bar of chocolate which made her day - above and beyond. Our only complaint was the breakfast buffet was pretty average and with Hobart being such a vibrant bustling city of beautiful food they need to up their game. Everything was ok and a decent selection, however the hot food section was pretty poor and the sausages were like cardboard. Kids loved the cereal and fruits on offer so that was a bonus.

We had a great second stay at this hotel. The room was a good size bathroom on the small side but functional. They gave us a high floor room with a nice view - we could even see the water and we liked the Trip.com deal where we got free breakfast. This was tasty and an enjoyable way to start the day. We found the staff were pleasant and we got a bottle of wine as we were celebrating a birthday. There is either onsite parking or you can get a discounted code for the Village cinemas carpark (both $15). This is a good 3 star standard hotel in a great location and we would come back. In fact, the breakfast was nicer than a recent very disappointing stay at the nearby (and much more expensive!) Moevenpick hotel.

The house is over 170 years old and is relatively well-maintained. However, there are inevitable inconveniences of old houses, such as the lack of an elevator. Hygiene: It is quite clean and overall refreshing. Service: The front desk closes at 5 o'clock, and the key is in the password box. You can ask for the password by sending an email or calling the phone on the door. Two breakfasts were given, which were quite rich, including croissant yogurt, fruit coffee, etc.

The room was spacious, view was good, location perfect. There was car park next to hotel, but fee was expensive. Overall everything was excellent, I will consider this hotel next time. Staff was very nice & helpful. The bed was so comfy. If there is bath tub, that will be perfect!

Room was clean and present. Toiletries supply was sufficient. Hotel location was good, the only problem was not enough car parking sometimes. Hotel told ask can park at EV charging when we back to hotel and there is parking lot available, but we were commented by one of Australia old lady for parking there.

service at the restaurant was very good. Being an airport hotel I would expect to have free shuttle to the aiport instead of getting charged for that
