I stayed at this onsen hostel and had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent—very convenient for exploring the area. The staff spoke English, which made communication smooth, and the place had a nice mix of Japanese and Western atmosphere. Everything was clean and comfortable. That said, I was hoping for a more traditional, authentic onsen experience. Still, it’s a great option for travelers looking for comfort and accessibility.

酒店距離草津中心區不遠，由草津巴士站步行約8分鐘可達，我本訂了日式房榻榻米，但配給了雙床房，房間空間大，兩面有窗，酒店大浴場寬敞，只是露天池略見小，只可容納3-4人，晚餐是日式料理，但款式和份量不多，食材亦不見特別，員工有禮，亦有接駁車送往草津巴士站。整體而言，這價錢可再與其他的先作比較再決定。

It’s a perfect getaway from the city. The outdoor onsen was one of my favourite. The best part of this trip. The room was spotless and the staffs were very nice.

とても明るく
清潔感もよく
オーナーも親切な素敵なアットホームな宿です。
シャワーもしっかり湯量が出ます
キッチンも清潔で
次回は使ってみたいです
音が気になる方は、耳栓は必要です。
ドアの開閉や廊下を歩く音は響きます。
また 友人を誘い 1階のバーも
利用したいです

旅館位於伊香保溫泉石階最高點，房間能看到山下風景。雖然老舊，但仍然保養得唔錯，職員服務態度好，大堂有免付費咖啡，茶等飲品。因為沒有聽清職員介紹，去錯露天溫泉，真可惜。

素敵な体験ができます。
お部屋はおしゃれなだけでなく、
清潔でアメニティなども十分です。
ベッドの寝心地も良く快適に過ごせました。
3階にステイしましたが階段部分がとても素敵でわざわざ階段移動をしていました。
中央のオブジェはライティングの時間帯によって表情が変わる蜷川実花さんの作品です。
レストランが予約制と知らず楽しみにしていたのに残念でした。
係の方に食事制限があることを伝えたところ、どの方でもその事を共有して配慮していただけた事は感動しました。
美しさだけでなく配慮ができるホテルなので安心して泊まれます。

一泊二食的酒店，在草津來講是非常大型的酒店，前台有會説中文的台胞，早晚餐是自助餐，食物選擇非常多，訂的是帶私湯的房間，房間不大，一家三口人住有點擠。門口就有7-11和一個超市，走去湯畑很近，酒店也有班車接送，不過最早的班次是15:00。酒店的行政酒廊有小糕點，15:00-17:30期間可以去吃吃東西喝喝飲料，也有專屬的泡湯區，有免費的起泡酒喝，訂有私湯的房間會贈送酒廊和專屬泡湯區使用權限，否則要收費。

A pretty decent Onsen. Just that the staff couldn’t speak much English and we had a hard time trying to understand the dinner flow. And the amenities at the onsen bath are quite limited.

I am very satisfied that I can enjoy the food and eat various dishes little by little. I didn't get tired of watching the murals in the bath.
The staff was very happy to serve and it was a fun trip.
There are few inns that I want to use again, but Tatsumi Kan wanted to use it again!

GGuest UserWonderful room, service, and overall experience. The room was equipped with a gas heater that quickly warmed the room up despite the January cold. There were also cups, a tea pot, satchels of green tea, and an electric kettle to prepare tea in the room. The onsen bath was very hot and wonderful and the futon and pillows were comfortable. 5/5 experience!

GGuest UserLocation of the Ryokan is excellent and very convenient. Service is fantastic from valet parking, front desk to in room dining. However, the property is very old and the dated. As the walls are thin, noisy neighbours made it difficult to sleep.

GGuest UserIt's a bathing place, but there is no shower room in the room, so you have to go to the public bath to take a bath. The service is also average, it seems polite, but the corridor is carpeted, and no one is willing to help you with your luggage when you check out, so you can only pull a suitcase cart back to the room to take your luggage.

LlychoThe inn is located at the highest point of the stone steps of Ikabo Onsen, and the room offers a view of the scenery down the mountain. Although old, but still well maintained, staff service attitude is good, the lobby has free coffee, tea and other drinks. It's a pity that I went to the wrong open-air hot spring because I didn't listen to the staff's introduction.

ชชญาดาพาเที่ยวIf you're a foreigner, a translation tool is essential because the staff don't speak English, or their accent was hard for us to understand. When we couldn't communicate, they seemed annoyed (90% of the staff didn't smile at us). There was an older staff member who was friendly, especially the one handling ski activity bookings. 🤬🤬 Absolutely terrible.
The food was mediocre, not much variety or taste.
The room was clean, and the onsen bathroom with amenities was excellent.
In summary, due to poor communication and the staff's lack of enthusiasm in recommending snow activities, my trip ended in tears 😭😭. I had planned to do many snow activities, but instead, I just walked around, built snowmen, and rolled in the snow.
I won't be coming back here next trip. I'll look for a hotel that's more welcoming to Thais.

SsssliuxinIn the more affordable hotel in Yixiangbao, the price is not expensive, but the service is very thoughtful. If someone wants to book this hotel, you can tell him your itinerary by email. What time does the jr bus arrive? Basically, there will be a hotel bus to pick you up. The hotel is a time-honored brand, although the facilities are a bit old, but relatively complete, the front desk, the service staff are older, but very careful. Also very polite. Dinner default barbecue, there are long-foot crabs, burdocks, and big choices. All three are very good. It is recommended that the burdock is a local famous beef, very delicious. On the first night, because of the first day of the summer vacation, I had two stays with my wife. So the hot spring opened a female soup, which is equivalent to the private soup. I soaked the female soup and male soup for two days. The open-air environment of men and women's soup is very good, the supporting after-bath facilities are armed to the teeth, and the whole body is from care to feet. This price is really good to have such an affordable public hot spring. If you go to the top of the famous mountain cable car last autumn, you must go to the front desk to get a promotional leaflet with coupons on it. Shanyang Hotel gave me a home away from home service. When I stayed in and left, the service was very good and very warm. If I go to Yixiangbao next time, I will continue to choose to stay.

There is a parking lot right in front of the hotel. There are some souvenirs on the first floor for guests to choose and buy. The price is moderate-the whole hotel is very quiet. There is an observation deck on the top floor, and there are places to eat and drink. It is above the housing floor, the housing is on the middle floor, and the hot spring is under the housing floor.
