"I rang the hotel the day before to ask for directions and they were very helpful with giving advice about getting discounted the entrance ticket for us as the hotel is located within the scenic area and the ticket is also valid for the 2 days we were there for. They also added me to a WeChat group with all their staff and everyone was extremely helpful in giving advice and recommendations. One thing was that the bathroom drain is a bit small and when I was washing my hair in the shower it got blocked by the hair (I have long hair that sheds a bit) and there was a bit of mini-flood happening in the shower, though that's more the design of the shower. Bonus: cats and bunny at the reception! Would definitely stay again if I'm visiting!"

"Normalmente, reservo hotéis que abriram nos últimos 6 meses. Este hotel afirma ter aberto em 2025, mas, ao fazer o check-in, ficou claro que não era possível que tivesse sido inaugurado em 2025. Os acabamentos estão desgastados e, embora estivesse razoavelmente limpo, o banheiro parecia sujo, com acúmulo de mofo preto ao redor. A decoração também parecia um pouco descombinada. O lobby, porém, é lindo. E o sorvete gratuito estava delicioso. A roupa de cama estava limpa e confortável. Mas, no primeiro quarto em que me deram, o tapete do banheiro tinha uma mancha que parecia sangue. O segundo quarto cheirava muito a cigarro velho. Não sei como, em 2025, ainda permitimos fumar em estabelecimentos públicos! A roupa de cama cheirava mal. Além disso, a equipe de limpeza foi bastante rude quando pedi para trocarem a roupa de cama depois de acordar e perceber a mancha. Cheguei a pensar que havia percevejos. A atendente disse que não e, em seguida, tentou justificar a mancha, o que me deixou com uma péssima impressão. "The Hotel was absolutely gorgeous. All staff from the beginning extremely helpful and supportive. Starting with the smart check in person Nishant who speaks wonderful English, going on with the nice room service ladies to all people serving breakfast, the lovely chef from Xian with his great dishes. "This are many good things that I like and one thing that can break the deal.  I like the room because it is bright. It has many lights. It is big too. I like the virtual assistant whereby you can control the curtain , the lights, the air conditioner and the VA is also smart enough to reply ‘yes’ in different way. The air conditioner however seems to have one temperature setting. It is always too cold or it keeps on blowing air and doesn’t have a thermostat.  The room however has no shelf space. No closet, no rack to place your luggage. The bathroom its translucent so a person taking shower , one can see a figure. I like the sofa and the table but the chair doesn’t like stable.  The breakfast is buffet style. It has quite a bit of variety and it changed on the 2 mornings that I ate there. There is a snack after 9 pm . I waited 25 minutes for a simple bowl of noodles. There were 5 people ahead of me and each bowl of noodles required time to heat up.  The staff has cold bottle waters in the lobby. There is no fridge inside your own room.  There is a washing machine and laundry that one can use for free. The staff said it would take out my laundry from the washing machine and put it in the dryer and they did. However , one inconsiderate guest took out my clothes from the dryer when they weren’t completely dried. He had 4 or 5 things to wash and he used 2 washing machines. I think because it is free and the guest wanted to maximize the usage of the free things. The hotel cannot control this kind of behavior. It is better if the laundry room is behind lock doors and only the staff can access it and of course, wash the clothes for the guests.  The toilet is something that I didn’t like. The moment you sit down, it flushes water and then if you move, it flushes again. But the problem that I had was the water was so strong that my buttocks were wet. I told the staff and he came to reduce the water flow which solved the problem.  One my last night there, I went to the bathroom 4 times and the last time I  was shocked to see a cockroach on the floor. It wasn’t moving but I wasn’t sure so I killed it. I dislike cockroach in any hotel. If I see this comment ( about cockroach sighting )  , I wouldn’t have stayed there because I am afraid there is an infestation and there will be cockroaches crawling all over me and enter my packing cubes , my clothes and my luggage. I was thinking it would be best not to write it in the comment if the hotel staff said they will would fix the problem. I spoke to the woman who welcomed me the first day. She was very nice and positive up to that point. When I told her about this issue , she said 沒辦法, it is impossible to resolve or there is no solution. Granted, this hotel has 8 stories and it is big. Eradicating pests and cockroaches, ants is not a simple thing but it is certainly not impossible. If China can collect samples from the moon and send astronauts to their own space lab, why is exterminating cockroaches be 汲辦法? Instead of taking a systematic approach to prevent further potential infestation , she said it is not possible.  I like this hotel. It has a lot of potential. The staff was helpful and always eager to help. The room is the best that I stayed in for my  trips and one of the best. ( the one in Pu’er is even better because the staff took my clothes, wash it, dried it, fold it and return it plus there was no cockroach problem ).  I hope the staff will take note of the opportunities presented to them by the guests , and make improvement. If I were to give a score, it would be 8/10 . 2 big points taken out because of the cockroach. "

Yiwu International Business City · Wanyue International Smart Residence Hotel

"The hotel is very new, and the bedding and everything was very clean, showing that the owner has invested a lot in it. The receptionist was very welcoming; I booked two rooms, and the receptionist upgraded one of them. The two rooms are opposite each other; the room facing the road has a great view, opposite Futian Elementary School, and there's a bit of traffic noise, but it's acceptable. The other room is opposite another hotel, so it's very quiet. Three meals a day are provided, and the food quality is very high! The taste is also very good and delicious. The dishes are rotated daily, and there's a freshly cooked noodle and pastry station for breakfast. Judging from the ingredients, the owner has a high budget for the meals. Since I ate all three meals at the hotel, I didn't have a chance to go out and try Yiwu cuisine, haha. The breakfast selection might be slightly less than a five-star hotel in terms of bread and pastries, but the hot dishes are just as good, and the fruit is very fresh. However, in the future, the management should provide guests with meal vouchers and have someone specifically collect them; otherwise, the costs would be quite high. The hotel is equipped with smart home systems (curtains/lights/TV), although sometimes the voice control for ”Wanyue” to turn on the lights might not be recognized. The cleanliness of the shower drain needs some attention. The shower water pressure is fine, and hot water is readily available. However, here are a few suggestions: - Hot drinks should not be placed in the glass area, but rather in the teacup area with handles. For example, putting scalding hot soy milk in a glass could be dangerous and cause burns. - A smoking area could be designated at the back door on the first floor. Smoking should be prohibited in the lobby and elevator areas, and no-smoking signs should be posted. - The lock on room 517 has a problem. When the door handle is pressed from the outside, the lock cylinder inside doesn't retract. - I don't know if this is only in my room, but the door opens towards the sink, and the doorstop protrudes slightly from the floor, making it easy for guests to step on it while washing their hands. If the door were mirrored so that it opens towards the shower area, and the doorstop was also placed on the shower side, it would be much better. - The plastic slippers provided had a strong plastic smell. I initially thought it was from the renovation, but it actually smelled like slippers. I suggest replacing them. - The ”Do Not Disturb” mode doesn't provide a notification. Providing a plastic ”Do Not Disturb” tag for guests to hang on the outside door would be helpful. I highly recommend this hotel! Finally, I wish the owner great success!"

We took a room with a large bed and a children's room, but there were three adults, I calmly lay down on this bed with a height of 177, which was nice. The room is really like in the picture, plus a huge private terrace and a balcony with a beautiful view added impressions, because on this whole floor was only our room and the same on the other side. But of course the best thing about this hotel is the animals, they are incredible, they don't live like in a circus in a cage, they walk. Breakfast with giraffes is really incredible, but not only they are beautiful there, I strongly advise you to study the map and go to the rest of the animals, we were most impressed by ostriches, meerkats and raccoons. About the service, some staff in the hotel spoke English, which is very unusual for China. We had some difficulties with the room, but they helped us solve the problem, cheered us up with some gifts and we were able to enjoy this hotel. We also additionally asked to clean the room, after that everything really became clean. I recommend, the impressions of the animals and the rooms were incredible!

Two nights, three days – I'd always heard that when it comes to hotels in Qiandao Lake, there's the InterContinental and then there's everything else. This trip really drove that point home. The drive from Wuxi to Qiandao Lake takes four hours. Since the InterContinental occupies its own island, having a car makes getting around much easier. The scenery along the Hangzhou Ring Expressway leading to Qiandao Lake is absolutely stunning, especially once you enter Qiandao Lake itself, with its myriad of winding islands and towering mountains. As soon as you exit the highway, you're practically in the mountains. The InterContinental's flags lining the mountain road gave a real 'welcome home' feeling. Driving with the windows down along the lake, you're enveloped in fresh, oxygen-rich air. Before even entering the hotel, I spotted the lighthouse and the Arc de Triomphe. The hotel lobby entrance is a beautiful photo op, a perfect blend of lake and sky. I stayed in a lake view room, and the view was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking Qiandao Lake. Add a Qiandao Lake beer, and my mood was instantly uplifted. The floor-to-ceiling windows had a sofa for enjoying the view. The room was spacious and very well-maintained. They even provided a crib for my child, which was reassuring. The toiletries were excellent, and the bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak. I'd read many reviews about the dinner, and after trying it myself, I thought it was quite good. While the variety might not be extensive, it was definitely sufficient, and the taste was decent. For breakfast, I'd seen reviews mentioning long queues, but it's really just for registering your room number. Seating was quick, and the food was good. I recommend sitting by the window in the priority seating area, where you can see the infinity pool seamlessly blend with the Qiandao Lake scenery. Swan Lake offers animal feeding, but this area could definitely be improved. There were too few animals, and I suggest increasing the interactivity. The kids' club has different zones, but I think it could be even better. The space is quite large, and with better planning and layout, a more integrated approach could offer more movement options for kids, and improved climbing and ground-level activities. I highly recommend both the infinity pool and the indoor pool. My kids didn't want to leave! The pools have shallow and deep areas, catering to children of all ages. You can also rent or buy swimming gear at the hotel, which is very convenient. The scenery is stunning, and the water quality is excellent. Being a large hotel, it's perfect for an evening stroll, whether to the viewing platform, the lighthouse, or just along the lake – it's very relaxing. Renting an electric tour car for 120/hour is a great way to explore the mountains comfortably in the summer. The hotel offers many activities, such as children's themed events and morning guided hikes. It would be even better if they added more water activities or equipment. It's wonderful to slow down and relax on this tranquil island amidst a busy life. Finally, a special thank you to 'Butler Landy'. Landy's service was impeccable – attentive, thoughtful, and reliably efficient. She responded quickly and resolved any issues. I felt her genuine sincerity throughout, and the service experience was top-notch. If you stay here, you must find her!

Yesterday's breakfast was disappointing, so I went back down at 9 AM today for breakfast. I was hoping for some traditional breakfast steamed buns (baozi). There was still an hour left until closing, and I asked the chef if there were any buns. I saw two large steamers, one with five or six plain steamed buns, and the other remained covered. The chef replied that they were all gone. Well, there was nothing I could do, so I ate some other things, which I didn't particularly enjoy, and had a coffee. I thought I'd check again for buns on my way out. Forty minutes later, it was still the same. So I called over what I assume was the floor manager, dressed in black. I told him I'd waited forty minutes for buns and hadn't gotten any. The manager asked the chef, who said no. Then, after seeing me leave, he made a phone call and said there were still some downstairs and that if I wanted them, someone would bring them up later. This is truly laughable. It's a five-star hotel, and I paid for my breakfast, but I don't even deserve a steamed bun? I think if I were the floor manager, I would have apologized first. Then, regardless of whether the guest had eaten their fill or not, I would have asked for their room number and personally brought a few buns to their room later, perhaps even with some drinks and fruit. I believe that kind of service is what truly befits a qualified five-star hotel.

This guesthouse has so much character! The owner clearly put a lot of thought and effort into the design. The massive, floor-to-ceiling bookshelf instantly brings a sense of calm, which is especially welcome on a hot summer day. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, browse books, read, or simply have a moment of quiet reflection. Oh, and the owner even gave me a complimentary room upgrade, which was incredibly comfortable.

The room is very clean, comfortable and hygienic. Children like it very much, but I feel it is more suitable for couples because the design of the bathroom is a bit inconvenient for parent-child families. There is also a bathroom on the first floor, but there is no shower. Parents of the opposite sex have to take a shower in advance. Other than that, it is almost full marks. The service is very, very, very good. The brothers are very handsome and the sisters are also very beautiful. They have a strong sense of service. The housekeeper is responsive to every request. A care package is provided every day, which is a canvas cosmetic bag that can be taken away. The toiletries are lelabo, and there are enough drinks. The restaurant is not big, so make reservations in advance. The food is very delicate and the taste is good. Afternoon tea and hot spring bath are also provided. It is very, very, very comfortable!

The Four Points by Sheraton Jiaxing boasts an excellent location, making it convenient to get to shopping malls or scenic spots. The front desk staff were warm, efficient, polite, and professional. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, and the housekeeping staff were also very courteous. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. The hotel has a swimming pool and a gym, perfect for relaxing with a swim after sunset. It's a great spot for a weekend getaway. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely come back if I have the chance.

The front desk service was excellent. The hotel's location is superb, just 50 meters from the subway station, making it very convenient to get around. The room was very comfortable and well-equipped. The front desk even helped upgrade my room, which made my stay very pleasant. Thumbs up!

I wanted to take my kids on a summer vacation but didn't want anything too strenuous, so I chose this Club Med. I heard it's an all-inclusive resort perfect for younger children, though maybe not so much for those over 10. I booked a two-night hotel pre-sale package through Ctrip (including breakfast and tickets to either Xixi Wetland or Lingshan Fantasy), with a 400 RMB surcharge for weekend bookings. The hotel called the day before to confirm and said they'd add my WeChat for future communication, but they never did. They also didn't mention adding a butler service during check-in, which is something other hotels do better. The hotel looks quite new and spacious, with most activities located on the basement level. For a hotel with a higher price point that prides itself on all-inclusive services, I was surprised to find that many entertainment options and parent-child activities required additional fees, and they weren't cheap either. This was a bit disappointing. On Friday and Saturday evenings, there's a mini-show, and on Sunday evening, there's a Chashan Qing performance. The shows make the evenings pass quickly. During the day, we mainly rested in the room and occasionally visited the mini water park, where the kids had fun in the water. The indoor children's playground is quite small and suitable for very young children; older kids won't find it very engaging. On the first day, we didn't want to go out for dinner, so we chose the hotel's Chinese restaurant for lunch. The dishes were mediocre, the portions were small, and the prices were not cheap. For dinner, we opted for the hotel buffet. The weekend prices were higher than weekdays, costing 328 RMB per adult and 218 RMB per child over 4 years old. The prices were a bit high. For the buffet, children are charged by age, not height. What can a child under 120cm really eat? The variety of dishes was also quite limited. For example, there was only one spicy flavor of crayfish, and the other dishes were just so-so. The mark-up felt excessive. For adults and children who don't eat sashimi and such, the value for money was very low. Since my child can't eat raw food, they pretty much only had some vermicelli soup at the buffet. The evening amusement park games were also very perfunctory; I didn't feel like playing at all. When I finally found a craft activity and sat down to try it, a staff member immediately came over with a POS machine, ready to charge me. 😂

We had an amazing stay here. The apartment is light, spacious and airy. The bed is huge and really comfortable and the shower and bathroom are also lovely. Having a kitchen with utensils, hob and microwave meant we could cook in the evenings which is a huge plus. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was varied and tasty with some western options, fresh noodles and omelettes, fresh fruits and salads, bread, cheese, pastries and amazing coffee and fresh juices. We used the pool several times (remember your swim caps!) and it was large and really nice for a swim. The location is great. It's close to the West Lake area. We walked there and back which was about 45mins each way, but it's also very easy to jump in a Didi to venture further around to see the Tiger Springs or Nine Creeks and Misty Forest areas which are really beautiful. The staff were very helpful. We arrived a little early and they checked us in straight away and very promptly answered all my questions. We asked for a late check-out and we were generously accommodated which was an added bonus. Oh - and the lobby and hotel smell amazing too! We will 100% stay here again when we return to Hanghzhou and would highly recommend it to other travellers if you'd like some luxury alongside home comforts.
