I finally got some amazing photos here! 😝 We booked a river-view room. The 38th-floor lobby was already stunningly bright, but the room's view was even more breathtaking—the floor-to-ceiling windows offered panoramic views of the two rivers converging and the city's nightscape. It's definitely the ultimate spot for a high-rise hotel photoshoot! 🫵 The room design is simple yet stylish, with smart home controls that are incredibly convenient. The lighting instantly brightens up the entire room, and the cleanliness is astonishing! The bedding is very comfortable, and the bathtub is huge; soaking in it while looking out at the river view is so therapeutic. The river view from the 30th-plus floor is absolutely stunning! This is my secret hideout!” (It even saved us the trouble of putting her to sleep; she just snuggled into the tent and instantly became quiet.) The bedding really stole the show!! ✅ 1.8m pressure-relieving canopy bed | ✅ German imported latex + memory foam double-layer mattress | ✅ Hotel-grade high-thread-count cotton sheets (I swear they're bouncier than my sofa!) I was extremely satisfied with this hotel! Both the facilities and the service were top-notch. The staff were incredibly service-oriented, friendly, and professional – they practically anticipated our every need. They even helped us dry our clothes and delivered them to our room. The room itself was thoughtfully minimalist, with all equipment working perfectly, making for a very comfortable stay. I had such a pleasant time here. And the location? Unbeatable! So convenient. It's walking distance to Hongyadong, the mountain city trails, and the cable car, among other things. Plus, they offer a free one-day tour. Definitely a five-star rating from me!

The room was clean and comfortable, the bedding was excellent for a restful sleep, and the location was convenient. Parking was easy with plenty of free spaces. Exploring nearby for food and sights was a breeze. This stay wasn't just about a hotel; it felt like owning a whole slice of Chongqing's gentle charm. Next time I'm in Chongqing, I'll definitely choose this place again. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to truly experience the night views of the mountain city.

For me, when choosing a hotel, I prioritize a few things: the bathroom, bedding, and soundproofing. The hotel's shower was excellent; you could have three water outlets going at once, and the water pressure was good, making for a very comfortable shower experience. The bedding was really comfortable; I slept very well. Since we're a family of three and couldn't add an extra bed, I called the hotel, and the front desk staff told us to request a room with a sofa. As soon as we arrived, they sent someone to make up the sofa bed for us. Soundproofing was also quite good. The view was of the river, and we could even catch a glimpse of a drone show. What I was particularly pleased with regarding the service was that for the several days we stayed, bath towels and toothbrushes were consistently provided for three people. I usually stay in pretty good hotels, and while most of them replenish toothbrushes, bath towels are often still only provided for two. This attention to detail is truly commendable. The location is great for walking to Hongyadong and Chaotianmen Square. The Raffles City complex across the way has everything you could need. Plus, the Line 1 subway station downstairs is the first stop, so you can always get a seat, and it's very convenient for going to the zoo.

My stay in Chongqing was great overall. The Kempinski Hotel has excellent facilities, and its location is easy to find. Liangli's service was very attentive; she confirmed our needs in advance and arranged a nice room for us. Any issues we had were also promptly resolved.

From the very beginning, everything was perfect. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the rooms were modern and comfortable, and the view from the room was absolutely stunning — one of the best we had during our travels. All communication was handled smoothly via WeChat, which was extremely convenient. We were also pleasantly surprised by the hotel’s thoughtful service: cutlery, plates, and glasses were delivered directly to our room for our snacks. This hotel offers incredible value for money. The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of everything. I read in a guide that first-time visitors to Chongqing should stay near Jiefangbei, and it's true – all the main attractions are super close. From the hotel, you can overlook Jiefangbei Square, and at night, the neon lights are a spectacular display of urban prosperity. Right outside, there are three long queues for popular网红 (wanghong/influencer-famous) shops, so you can grab a Tea Yen Hue Se (Chayan Yuese) every day. The room itself is pretty standard, and the sink being inside the room means getting ready can disturb your roommate. I was told breakfast was basic, but it actually exceeded my expectations; they had milk, bread, porridge, noodles, fruit, and yogurt. Plus, the panoramic view from the 29th floor made breakfast a truly pleasant experience.
