Had to book a last minute hotel because a change of plans. Everything else was booked or too expensive. This hotel was great, both in terms of price as well as quality! Staff is super friendly and helpful, location is great is the nice neighborhood of Antwerpen Zuid, many restaurants and supermarkets within a few minutes walking, comfortable rooms and a nice breakfast. Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a hotel to spend the night when visiting Antwerpen.

Hotel is close to the center of Antwerp and easily accessible. Parking garage is a 20-minute walk away. Friendly and hospitable staff. However, the rooms are very noisy. The double glazing is old, resulting in poor sound insulation. The carpet and laminate flooring are old and stained. The rooms are furnished as you'd expect from a hotel. Beds are good, but the pillows are too small. Breakfast was well-prepared.

What we liked: Overall the hotel has ample, clean public space and the room was spacious with a separate toilet area, shower area and sink / vanity area. This made getting ready and using the facilities for two ppl easier. The room also had a fridge. The hotel is also right across the road from the main train station and a short 10 min walk to bus depot (Rooseveltplaats). So very good for traveling into and through Antwerp. For pre checkin and post checkout they offer private free lockers for your luggage. Through it is first come, first serve and they don’t have that many of them (we had no problems fitting a 40l bag, a 28l backpack and tote bag into one middle size storage cube). Small things that we didn’t like but can deal with: Limited in room amenities, there was no kettle or mugs, etc in the room. We were left a bottle of water but it wasn’t clear if it was free or not. The area around the hotel is a little sketchy (very quiet at night) but decently lite. They did require your room code to get back into the hotel after midnight. The hotel is close to the train station but farther from the old city. It is a good 20-25 min walk to that area. We are ok to walk, so didn’t mind much but it is further than some other hotels.

Very well located, the Hyllit Hotel can be found less than 5 minutes away from the Antwerp-Centraal train station. It is located in such a manner that you have a direct access to the historical centre of the city by foot, following a straight line. The reception was very nice, I was received by very professional people who took the time to explain every commodities available in the hotel, from the mini-bar to the Emerald Lounge, and even how to access the rooftop restaurant and the health centre. The room I was given was very clean, with different amenities available such as a TV with international channels (French, English, German), a coffee machine, and a phone.

The hotel's location is good for muslim travelers because it is near from a masjid, halal restaurants and asia marts. The hotel is really dirty with the fridge and drinking utensils poorly cleaned, floor and furnitures filled with dusts, hairs on the bed and towels and some cobwebs probably unseen because of the room's poor lighting. I did not complain because of the price and the location but I would not likely come back

Stayed at this hotel for Tomorrowland festival. A great location smack in the middle of the different cities which are easily accessible by public transport (although some locations might take 1-2h travelling time). Twin room was a little small for two man but it was still a relatively comfortable stay. Free coffee and tea at the lobby was great. Do note that for sustainability, aircon automatically shuts down at noon and you have to manually on it back if you’re intending to sleep in late or chill around in your hotel room.

Nice hotel , good location for first time coming , very easy access to everything around, food , markets everything at walking distance , very good Would love to visit same hotel on my next visit soon

This is a very old hotel with well-maintained facilities. The most important thing is that there is a Christmas market and an ice skating rink downstairs, which the children love very much. The taste and service of the restaurant in the market are very good. The Christmas atmosphere is very good. The hotel is next to the Carrefour supermarket, which is very convenient for replenishing snacks and fruits. It is just that you need to take a detour to get a taxi to Antwerp Central Station. If you don't need to take a taxi with your children, there are actually buses and subways downstairs, which is very convenient. You must stay here again when you come to Antwerp

Hotel is located right in the centre of town and near to train station. Walkable location to all amenities and attractions with nice historic buildings and food streets. We enjoyed our Asian meals in a small and cozy restaurant suited in Chinatown which is within walking distance from Hotel. Hotel room is clean and chic. Nice stay and comfortable bed. 😇

The lighting in the room was too dim, making it difficult to apply makeup. Overall, the room was quite spacious and well-equipped, though the decor was a bit dated. The first room I was assigned hadn't been cleaned yet, so I had to switch to another one. Parking nearby was convenient and free.
